After experiencing recent issues with our furnace, we contacted Freed for an appointment. They had someone available the very next day. Our technician was Josh. He was on time, completed service and repairs in a reasonable amount of time and explained all needed repairs before performing them. Josh also offered to set us up for a spring and fall maintenance schedule to prevent future issues. Heather arranged the appointment and when service was complete, took payment over the phone. Thank you for being there to help in our time if need. We highly recommend Freed heating & air conditioning. Our Lennox system was installed by Freed in 2016 and has performed flawlessly until our own failure to perform proper yearly maintenance caused this most recent issue
Woke up and the house was 58 degrees, after troubleshooting to no avail. Called Freed Heating & Air. Cory was very prompt returning my call and was at my house in less than two hours on a Sunday!! Top notch service and a quick repair at a very reasonable price especially for a Sunday. Will definitely recommend to anybody needing HVAC help.

We were so happy with Freed after they replaced our AC unit, we referred them to my mother in law to replace her garage heater. They were very polite and prompt. They explained everything up front and performed as promised. The installation crew were the best! They were happy to work and left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived!

Was great able same day service on busy cold day
Our furnace went out day before Thanksgiving waited until Friday morning and called Freed heating. They came out and fixed it for us but said we were in need of a new furnace. That was an understandable as our furnace was 33 years old. Mike the young service man gave us a quote and we decided to have a new one installed. He was here today to install it. Freed has been to our house a couple of times and I would highly recommend them. Our service man Mike is very knowledgeable and very polite. Thanks also to John Freed for calling us to set up time for this to be done.

Furnace went out on Thanksgiving so they have no emergency technicians so they couldn't come til day after. Then diagnosed that I need a new furnace but had to wait til following Monday. Very disappointing.

Everyone was professional . Answered all of my questions. From the first phone call to the estimate they were very responsive. They were here and installing ahead of schedule. They cleaned up everything and left nothing behind. Glad to have such an awesome warranty and labor coverage that gives me peace of mind with a big purchase.

Not totally unexpected but it couldn't have come at a worse time, my 24 year old Carrier A/C unit finally said "NO MAS". With so many HVAC options to choose from, my first step was to the BBB website and found Moline, Il, based FREED Heating and A/C had an A+ rating-0 listed complaints..good start. I noticed they have been in business for over 100 years here-that's solid. QCA 2021 heat wave was soon to arrive so I called three companies for an evaluation and only Heather with FREED HVAC Co. responded right away. Tech Chris determined 90% of my freon had leaked out-a new unit was the best/and my only option. Service estimator/installer Cory called and came out as we scheduled. He was on time, VERY knowledgeable and professional..Cory was not high pressure. After evaluation and thorough discussion, (I had several questions ready) we agreed on the A/C replacement & installation price which included my senior discount and financing. As scheduled, Cory and tech Quinton were here on time, they both worked very hard for several hours and my new unit was installed and up and running that afternoon, just as the heat wave was approaching-I could not have been happier or more satisfied..10+ rating out of 10...Highly recommended..FREED Heating & A/C Co. My dad always taught me 'you get what you pay for'. No gimmicks, no trickery, no hidden costs or fees-everything was up front. Cleanup of my property was completed as well..FREED is now my GO TO COMPANY for the services I need and the services that they provide.
