I would find someone else. The guy is nice enough but... We scheduled an appointment weeks in advance and he called me to cancel with really no explanation other than "my family has changed".... Whatever that means. Unprofessional... He wanted me to change my schedule around to accommodate him. Go elsewhere if you want a professional to show up. Update: he then texted me and blamed me for "making a bad situation worse"... Whatever that means?
I had to get insulation and a water heater installed and Green Homes did phenomenally: they were friendly, had a great price, solid financial incentives from being partnered with Ameren, and the project was done sooner than I thought. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future!
They do a great job, very friendly and understanding. They explain everything so you can understand. Very good company
Kevin and his team were great. We had a few companies come out for quotes and they just measured and sent a quote. Kevin offered explanations for everything he was doing and was honest about what made sense (even if it meant not doing as much work). He was a great communicator and was always on time. They offer great incentives through Ameren that help out the cost which helps immensely. Come install day, that team was also on time and they came in, started to work, and were out. They were very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. When comparing to other companies in the area...I would highly recommend at least having these guys out to take a look if you're undecided!

The people from Green Homes were very friendly and knowledgeable about the job to be done. They installed my new Nest Thermostat and helped me to add it to my home Wi-Fi network and to my Google Nest app.

Kevin and his staff were attentive, patient and committed connecting me with the best/cost effective HVAC products for my home. Kevin was always available to answer my questions promptly and provide clear education on the entire installation process. Truly, I was impressed, excited and happy working with Green Home Illinois.

They all did such a great job! They put insulation through my existing siding and outer wall since my house had none whatsoever due to the age and I've had constant issues with heating and cooling being consistent on my 2nd floor. Insulation was also put around the rim joists in my basement which I didn't realize before that that's something that should be done. They also replaced my air conditioner with a new one that cools my house really well when I tested it the same day after it was installed. With the initial inspection they found several gas leaks which required my gas to be turned off but they were able to do the repairs short notice and I was only without gas for the remainder of that day. Kevin with Green Homes also lent me 2 of his space heaters since it was cooler weather so my house wouldn't get too cold overnight..Without the inspection I would have never known I had any leaks since my house is drafty and I didn't notice any smell. A bathroom vent was also installed since I didn't have one and has been great so far with bringing in fresh air and circulation on my second floor since all my windows upstairs are older and don't normally get opened. Great people to work, great company, and I highly recommend! I'm so happy to have my home a lot more energy efficient and looking forward to lower bills :)
Green homes AMAZING!!! the two crews sent to our home to install the AC and heater and insulation in the basement and attic were very nice and did their jobs great! Green homes sent them to our home and both crews were great working around our dogs and family and did a very nice job cleaning up after as well too. We were very thankful for everything both crews did and greenhomes!!
Very knowledgeable and explained my new thermostat to me very well! We’re time efficient and did not take long at all, highly recommend!
The Green Homes Staff were so professional. They went above and beyond in getting me everything that I was eligible to get through their services! Green Homes walked me through every step. Even if I had a question after business hours, they were there to serve me! I have never experienced such good customer service. Thank you to Everyone who helped in servicing my home.
