First I’ll say Hawkins did a good initial job installing thousands of dollars worth of electrical work during my pool installation and panel upgrade. They also installed two outdoor GFI outlets in my backyard. Now where my experience gets bad is when we tried to use our outlets in May and one would not function and just clicked over and over. May was 11 months and I called and left a message during a week I had off for vacation. No one ever called back. Of course I got busy getting back to work and called again today realizing no one called me to help resolve the issue. A lady answer the phone today and said “ahh, you just over your one year warrantee and we have to charge you $150 just to show up and none of that will count towards fixing my outlet. Of course they got my message, saw my warranty was about to be up, just just deleted my message. After spending this type of money with a company, this is the worst way you could treat us. I’ll spend some time now finding a company who actually takes care of their customers vs installing equipment that last 12 months then charging you $150 just to pull up and fix something that will probably cost less than $150 to change out. Companies just aren’t what they used to be…
I was trying to find someone to install my Tesla charger in my garage and it was hard to find someone that new what they were doing when it came to older St. Pete homes. Matt and Luis showed up on time, were very professional and knowledgeable. The work they did was pristine and I am very happy with the service. I will always be using HSC in the future.
Jesse arrived to do a service inspection in my ac unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of the unit. Highly recommend.
There is something to be said for a company that takes responsibility for customer issues and deals with them. Yesterday I did a review and rated Hawkins a 2. Within hours of my review I got a call from one of the owners, Joe, and he listened to my concerns and create a plan to remedy them. Sure enough, today Joe came thru and sent a representative (Rob Corjay) from Hawkins to my home and that person fixed everything beyond my satisfaction. Rob was very knowledgeable, detailed and patient. He fixed the programming on my pool automation and taught me how it all works. He didn't even think about leaving until I was 100% comfortable with how things are working and will work moving forward. Thank you Joe for bringing an old friend back into my life in Rob. He an I worked together many many years ago. He was actually my boss!
We had all of our equipment, lights, and electrical installed for our new pool by Codey, Chris, and Donte! They did an amazing job! They were prompt, polite, and worked their tails off in 100+ degree weather to get the job done. All of the work is neat, tidy, they cleaned up the job site when they were finished, and even asked if I had any other questions for them at this time. I would highly recommend this group of gentleman to anyone needing service ran and will definitely request them for any future services with our pool equipment!
Thane did a fantastic job with maintenance on my Air Conditioning units! He was extremely friendly, thorough, and efficient! I’m very pleased with his timeliness and explaining everything he would be doing and verified it with me. I’ll definitely be using Hawkins for everything with my AC in the future because of this interaction.
Jesse is a professional with great people skills. He explained everything to me in detail which I appreciate. I would recommend his services to anyone.
Rudy from Hawkins has installed my last three light fixtures and is one of the most polite and competent electricians I have met. He is flexible and patient. Service is always outstanding. Hawkins overall is my go to for electrical and gas service. Don't call another company, just let them come out and do it right the FIRST time. So few people are reliable and live up to the standards we expect. Rudy is an excellent representative of the company and service. thank you!
They came out early the same morning we called and Joe was super knowledgeable and knew right away how to fix our AC. Price was a little high for our liking but still competitive within the industry. We appreciated Joe's knowledge and thoroughness in making sure our system was fixed, I would recommend them.
Jeff came to replace the salt cell for my pool. While he was here, I asked him why the pool heater wouldn’t be connecting to the app. He took the panel off and rewired it. He then walked me through how to use the app. This is my first pool and I really appreciated him taking the time to help me.
Professional, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and conscientious - Mr. Mark P. provided excellent service and went above and beyond the call of duty while repairing and inspecting my home A/C system. I will continue to use Hawkins Service and ask for him by name. Promote and retain with enthusiasm!
Ryan and his coworker performed an outstanding professional job. Discussed prior to work what the project consisted of and what to expect. Were very neat and let the work area very clean and organized. Greatly appreciated their job ethics. Would 100% recommend them and there company, HSC Hawkins Service Co.
You have to mention a company who continues to be the absolute best at what they do! I had Francisco and Isaiah today who replaced my AC unit. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and did an outstanding job. They protected my property and kept it extremely clean. It’s such a good feeling to relax and know you’re getting premium service! The new AC unit is up and running, quiet and chilly!! Had a great experience with HSC today. I called yesterday and they responded this morning and replaced my water heater. Jerome and Jose were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They had the new heater installed in less than an hour. I had hot water in 50 minutes. No issues and no surprises. I’d certainly call them when I have an issue with a pipe or wire.
Scott is AMAZING!!! When your A/C goes out in summer in FL, it’s normally an instant panic attack , but from the moment Scott showed up, he was calm, reassuring, realistic, and fixed everything exactly how was initially described. He was exceptional. And while I hope I never need him in an emergency outage situation again, I will certainly request Scott anytime I call Hawkins for A/C services.
Ryan and his crew did an amazing job with the electric installation for my new pool. The communication before and after installation was awesome! Ryan walked me through the work that was to be completed. Courteous, professional and thorough! Outstanding !!
I picked Hawkins based on previous experiences. I expected quality and professional work and got exactly what I expected. Jamil was great at explaining to issues and resolution with economical prices.
Dishonest and overpriced for rude service. We paid $138 for 2 AC tune ups from Hawkins but were not told what was completed. The service agent that came here was annoyed that we were also getting other quotes from companies for a new AC system. We called because now it’s hot in our house. Everything was working fine before he arrived and when we called to explain it, the agent on the phone was rude too. We have used Hawkins in the past and it was fine but now we won’t use them again. Very rude service and other companies are much easier to work with. Not happy with Hawkins. Update: they are dishonest at Hawkins and I will not be using them in the future. We got 3 quotes from other companies and Hawkins is by far 2x more expensive than the others. $28,000 for 2 AC units. That’s ridiculous and other quoted us half the price. Also, we did not have others there working on the system at the same time. They lied about that. And are rude to us for wanting ti get other quotes. I can’t and won’t recommend Hawkins again.
Today I received some of the best customer service I have received in a long time. My pool pump and lights were not working, and I wasted two weeks with another company that did not fix anything!! After working with an excellent scheduler from Hawkins to get someone to come out for the lights, I had some hope. Ryan and Rya resolved my light issue very quickly and put in a call to see if they could have someone look at my pump issue. They told me they got someone to come the same day, which made my day. Dean K showed up the same day as they said and provided me with some excellent customer service!! Dean explained everything in a very friendly, professional and fix the issue on the spot (wow!!). After everything was resolved, he went through some other great options for some more work I wanted to be done at a later time. Kudos to Dean, Ryan, Rya, and the scheduler for resolving my pool issues!!
Jesse arrived on time and was professional throughout the visit. Excellent tech and personable even allowing me to take a work call during the visit. Explained technical specs at a layman's level to help us understand what fixes would be most beneficial.
Reference work order 0960. Eddie was the service technician. If there were six stars I would give him that. Professional, knew what he was doing, and fixed everything, and cleaned up after he was finished. I have been using Hawkins electrical for over 20 years and have always been satisfied. This is no exception
