Their staff treats each project professionally from a small remodel to an 11k SqFt custom home. They itemize their services and allow you to choose what scope they will perform. The results are well presented and in a very timely manner.

My experience with ProCals was professional, timely, educational and kind. I'm a 46 yr old woman in charge of a $500k+ project. As we ran into issues with the complexity of our HVAC system design, our original architect outsourced the mechanical calculations and drawings to ProCals. The City of Doral had rejected the plans and I didn't understand all the codes on the remarks. At this point, time & money on my mind, I was very anxious. Ashley was the first one we spoke with. She was listen to my frustration then took time to go through each of the remarks and explain. There were about 10 of them. After the changes, my architect and I were able to resubmit the plans and they got approved. So construction could finally start. John and Richard were so kind through all of the issues that came during the mechanical installation. Kimberly and Ashley always responded to emails if the guys were not able to right away. We had a few change request charges, but to me surprised, many if them they simply updated. Here are a few changes we had them do. FIRST We could not get the RTU anymore and needed to change the plans again. ---and if I recall correctly, we had them put this one on the plans but by the time we got through City approval. Somehow that unit wasn't available anymore. The units that we could get we had them change the plans to the new units and do all the calculations again. THEN....! We needed to change all the exhaust and returns in the common areas THEN....! We had them change all the the dimensions of the return ducting to allow for the interference of the fire riser, roof, plumbing vents, electrical, sprinkler systems and everything else that is in the face that required are returns to go through. THEN...! The exhaust unit we told him we were getting became unavailable so we call to change the plans again and recalculate again. This is the second time I’ve used ProCalcs and already have a third project I want to engage with them on eventually. I keep coming back because they’re responsive; they have deep technical knowledge; and they take time to ensure the design they provide is going to fit into the structure of the building the system is being designed for - reducing headaches later. During the process I find them to be very responsive. Even if the answer isn’t provided immediately, they acknowledge receipt to let you know they’re looking into it - which gives me huge piece of mind. Overall, one of the best services providers I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the home remodeling space. Highly recommended!

Response time , prompt communications , and professional work . while Tom was excellent at the initial phase and overall supervision, Richard was excellent in developing the overall design and specification of an elaborate new HVAC system and followed my guidelines and parameters to the T !! ProCalcs LLC is the best. They work as hard as you do and actually care about your project. They are not your typical engineer or architect who gives you incomplete drawings just to get paid. They actually try to pass plan review the first time! And I have always received my permits without needing resubmittals from ProCalcs. That saves me time and money. Use them! You will not be disappointed.
