Mike showed up on time. Was very responsive and very knowledgeable. Great customer service. Mike diagnose the problem and fixed it very quickly and what he charged was very reasonable, actually much lower than I thought it would be. I highly recommend Mike Merritt, heating and air to anybody who has an air-conditioning or heater issue.
My A/C went down late on a Saturday night. The next Sunday morning I called Merritt A/C company and by 4 PM he was at my house on a Sunday. He and his son spent 2 hours tracking down the problem and fixed it. They went over and above my expectations by arriving on a Sunday night. The were professional and thorough.
Used Mike Merritt for maintenance of 3 systems and install of 2 now since we have owned our condo and we have had great service. We usually get to be first up in the scheduling, even with an emergency repair and always great service...friendly, knowledgeable and Mike the owner is the one that has usually been doing the initial repair and maintenance and the son has been brought on to do work too so it's a nice family business. Nice competitive pricing and they recognize a repeat customer. Can't complain about anything!

Mike Merritt came to our home to discuss our HVAC needs. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The pricing was good and there was NO sales push! We ordered our Carrier HVAC from his company and in 3 days they did the install (our old unit was still working). His install techs were great and the same as Mike Merritt - friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions. They made sure to review everything about the system I needed to know. Thank you Merritt and Company you have made a life long customer!
The service was outstanding.We have used Mike’s company twice and both times received EXCELLENT service. They took the time to find the problem and resolve it quickly. Their prices were more than reasonable and both times arrived even before the expected time! I have never been so impressed with a company. I will never go elsewhere.

These guys are AWESOME! AC went out this morning before a HOLIDAY weekend and they were able to come out and fix it within 3 hours of our call. They replaced a bad capacitor in less than 20 minutes! Highly recommend! Very professional and rapid response!
This company is the best AC company in the Jacksonville metro area. Mike himself has come to my house and creatively solved every AC issues I’ve had. They are reasonably priced and on the last visit, the AC was fixed before before I came out to greet him! So, why don’t you use the best technicians at MERRITT HEATING AND AIR. In my sincere estimation, other companies are sub standard. Thanks Mr. MERRITT for your outstanding customer service and technical expertise.
I had called them to have my A/c serviced about 3 months ago since they were the one who installed the new unit. On the day of the appointment they called and stated they needed to reschedule as they were running behind. On the the rescheduled day no one showed up or called to inform me of anything. I called and left a message with the answering service, but no one called me back. I decided to give them one more chance and has a appointment scheduled for today to try and have it serviced again. Same as last time they called and said they had emergency calls and couldn't make it. I will not call a third time to reschedule as it seems to be a waste of time and will take my business elsewhere
Danny, Brian, and Chris are great guys. Danny kept my old AC running for sixteen years, and Brian and Chris installed the new one in about three hours with no disturbance. Very friendly and approachable too.
If you had told me having my system repaired would be this delightful, I'd want it to fail more often! It was a joy to meet Mike Merritt and watch him repair my system. After describing the symptoms, Mike knew what the issue was, verified it, and fixed it. Also, the folks on the phones were great - and set timing expectations with accuracy. We called on a Saturday afternoon , and a tech was here within an hour. He fixed our problem within 45 min. The parts and labor where very reasonable. Thanks Merritt's air
I was told the service was 120.00. I was charged 121.00..i was told the part is 90.00..got charged 98.00..2.87% charged to use a credit card.. most likely not use this company again.

I called at 1:50 p.m. on a Sunday. Less than one hour later, the owner, Mike, had repaired my HVAC for a very fair price. I have never taken the time to leave a Google review but how could I not with service like that.
