Sobieski service was excellent. DJ was punctual, friendly and explained everything for me to fully understand the service he was providing. I would recommend using Sobieski for any AC needs you may have.
From being a plumber for 8+ years, Jamille B was able to effectively service my tankless hot water heater and walked me through each of his steps so that I could better understand the unit to my new home. He also gave me great advice about how to maintain it best with getting it serviced 1x/yr so that there was no hard water/debris/condensation build up in and around the working parts of the Noritz unit I own. He was highly informative and I would recommend him to friends and family nearby and in the surrounding PA/MD area.
James was the tech and he was so polite and answered all my concerns. Having to go up in an attic in the heat is trying at best, but he took his time and checked all my concerns. Hope I have him in the fall.
Installed complete HVAc system, since it is installed we are having problem. Either heater is not working nor AC. After two years, another company came and said system is out of refrigerant. I have to pay $800 for recharging and no quaralentee that it will last. Sobieski person said they don't provide any assistance after one year.. completely a rip off. My recommendation is Don't buy in to sobieski services.
Had the pleasure of DON here, and he was extremely effective and very knowledgeable. A terrific technician Unfortunately he was only given a part of the clear information that we supplied. Apparently the person who answered the phone didn't listen OR TAKE NOTES. We distinguished the problem was with the trap, not the pump. DON fixed the PCV JOINT for the condensate pump. It was apparently cut a bit too short on the initial install. Today Don K came to address an issue with the humidifier. He made a slight adjustment on the water pressure. Don was excellent, extremely pleasant and very helpful. Good advice from Steven. Excellent value. Great installion crew led by Kevin who went above and beyond for our installation of our new HVAC SYSTEM AND whole house Humidifier for which he crafted a Custom Ductwork Vent so that the system could be installed in a compact and convenient location. As a retired architectural designer I have seen many installations, and this group is first rate. We are Extremely pleased and have recommended Sobiesky already to my community in Chester Springs PA.
Everyone from the sales person, so the office people who worked with us on financing, to the installers were so nice and professional. My house had a few unforeseen complications and our installers stayed until 11pm on a Friday before a holiday weekend to finish! And somehow stayed friendly! I cannot say enough good things about those two guys.
We had a problem with our HVAC and called Sobieski for service. Specifically the circuit breaker for our compressor tripped and we had problems resetting it. Andrew identified the problem (an undersized breaker) and said he would take steps to notify the builder that the breaker had to be upgraded. In addition to knowing what needed to be done, Andrew took the time to explain the problem as well as other areas of the system in order to ensure that it would work at maximum efficiency and power. I was very impressed with the time that he spent and commented to him that, if he wasn’t already doing it, he should think about teaching his trade to others. Sobieski is fortunate to have him as their representative.
They installed a new hvac unit less than 6 months ago and can’t even get them to come back out to fix the issue with their poor installation team!. The tech always have an excuse why they can’t fix it and just leave! Sobieski only cares about new construction! They forgot what’s got them to be so popular now they trash
Ryan D at Sobieski arrived on time ,assessed the problems and began solving the problems immediately. While working we had a pleasant conversation. It was a lovely experience with problems solved in the end.
REVISED REVIEW AT THE END. Taking off a star for the girls who dispatch the calls when you first call for service/repairs. The stars provided are for Kirk, Daryl, Jeff, Nikki, and the supervisors in the plumbing department. Kirk knows his stuff, and he could probably do this stuff in his sleep. They all deserve 5 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: They are missing in action after install. My 2 little girls, diabetic husband, and I have been baking alive in here since Friday afternoon. There was smoke coming out of the unit, and the utility company and fire department came to turn off the gas until they come to service the unit. Now going on Tuesday, and no one has returned any of our 10 calls requesting service. With the heat and the fact that there was smoke, this is considered an HVAC emergency call. Their on -call technician is also too busy at the moment, and likely isn't going to call us or show up tonight, either (3:29 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023). On Friday, we were told it is still under warranty, and now the dispatcher, Mia, is telling us our address is not within their service area LOL. Their number is literally on the actual unit that has been used for less than an entire calendar year. Run, don't walk, away. I will be up waiting for the on-call technician to call or show up. REVISION JULY 5, 2023: I was beyond surprised when Ed from Sobieski left a voice-mail asking us to change our review the morning after they sent someone over, and saying our situation was "blown out of proportion", and that there was "no issue". Their dispatch girls told the plumbers on the 28th that there was a possible gas leak on FRIDAY. The plumbers who did show up were very helpful and knowledgeable, but the girls should've sent the HVAC-NOT plumbing for a possible gas leak 3-4 days later after UGI already confirmed that wasn't the issue. I want to be clear-I had every intention to update my review appropriately if and when things were made right. Why they feel its a good move to
Your customer service is nonexistent. I called your emergency line yesterday and I am still waiting all day today to have our AC serviced. Our house is 3 months old and a new construction. It’s 100 degrees out and you are insisting it is not an emergency. I was told there was no direct line and I have to wait? Do we have to die of hyperthermia to get help?
The technician Tom was excellent. He was very informative, professional & knowledgeable. He seemed passionate about his work.
William was polished, professional, informative and patient. He waited to ensure that he wasn’t missing anything because the compressor was on when he arrived. Luckily it turned off while he was here and he was able to diagnose a loose wire. William additional identified draining that needed to be addressed that was installed improperly! He deserves many accolades for excellent customer service! Thank you, Wiiliam😊
Shane was very attentive and while here to drain out water heater. he willingly looked at other potential problems both in our living space and crawl space. Very pleasant as well as efficient.
Michael was such a pleasure to work with. Showed up on time. Thoroughly did all the work necessary and made sure all other components involved were installed and secured properly without us asking. Additionally gave us advice on the best resources to continue to maintain our HVAC system. Highly recommend him!
William was the technician that helped to solve my problem and complete the work below estimate. He explained exactly what he was considering and kept me posted as the work progressed to completion.
Jamille was very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job upselling the Annual Maintenance Program. He did an excellent job in replacing our toilet and repairing the copper piping to eliminate the leak above the ceiling. He is a role model employee.
