Avoid this company like the plague. They came out because my A/C was not working. They replaced the capacitor and charged me $496 for it. After I later checked I found that a capacitor only costs between $15-$20. After I called they gave me a refund of $300 so they still screwed me over for at least an additional $170. These people are not to be trusted. They would have been perfectly happy to overcharge me $475 if I hadn't complained. That is not a good value in anybody's book.
John Tussey, Technician was thorough in explaining condition of our 10 year old Lenox condenser. He made adjustments to keep it running efficiently. Requested John for our December Winter maintenance. We’ve been a Horizon Customer since 2001 when the company was Geiger.
So I had a major issue with service that was provided at my residence. After the technician left my system didn't run again until late in the evening. At this time the unit engaged and once the unit ignited there was a explosion blowing the door off the unitwith fire blowing out of the unit. It started to burn the pvc intake pipe. I had to hit the emergency switch. Other than the technician that made the mistake no one from the company reached out to me. I called discussing the situation and after that someone finally reached out to me. Since then my only contact has been with the person who came out to repair the unit.
Horizon sent an amazing plumber to our house immediately when we found out that our gas needed to be turned off due to a leak. The plumber, Chris Stare was communicative and did excellent work. He was so thorough that he even found a leak that the PECO inspector missed. It was such a stressful day, but knowing that the work was high quality put us at ease.
They came promptly when I contacted them and replaced my old water heater quickly and efficiently. Very professional.
Mark and Tristan were on time and professional through the entire process. Tristan even helped me move some furniture to another area to free up some space.He also went into great detail how my new thermostat and humidity sensor worked. Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful when explaining the new heating system and new safety features that our old unit didn't have. Overall a great experience and plan on using horizon for future upgrades.
Alex came out the same day to help us. He was awesome. Very professional and extremely helpful! We feel a huge difference in our home already.
I have never had a great experience with Horizon before. I only called them because of the service agreement that was put in place by the prior home owner. However, today's visit with Andre was great. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, professional and answered all my questions. He is an incredible asset for the company and if Horizon has more techs like him I am sure they can turn my opinion about the company around.
The team was both courteous and competent; they arrived on time and worked late to complete the sewer main replacement; they left the lawn in good shape. We were very pleased.
We paid but we cannot get a copy of the invoice. What is the problem?
Our shower faucet broke and we were able to fleet someone out on a Sunday afternoon, within a hour of us calling! Rob was great! He explained everything throughly and was able to fix it the same day.
My Plumber Chris Stare was pretty awesome! He quickly diagnosed the problem and he expertly replaced the cracked pipe. He was very professional and courteous! Highly recommend him for plumbing repairs.
Tony came by early on a Sunday morning with less than a day's notice to replace a leaking pipe. Great service, on time and, considering the rush on it for a weekend, relatively inexpensive.
My furnace igniter went bad. I called at 3:30pm and I had heat again by 7:30pm. It took the service tech about 30-45 minutes from arriving to diagnose and complete the repair. Fast and professional. I’ll use them again.

Wasn’t aware my old company merged with Horizon so I was surprised this morning when I called my old company from my cell phone Contacts. But, the technician arrived on time and was courteous and professional at all times. Matt Miller is his name. Explained everything he was doing and checking. Explained the multiple options; wasn’t pushy at all. Signed up for the monthly plan.
Replaced UV light. Very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable! It was a pleasure to have him work for me.
Technician Leon Wilson was very friendly and knowledgeable about the water pipes in the cubby hole. Leon gave us all the best repair options and allowed us to choose the repair options that we could afford. My husband and I are very happy with Leon and the plumbing work he completed today.
Was on a stand by list and got called for 1-18-23 to replace appointment in February. The technician was on time, friendly, responsible, and made reasonable recommendations for our systems. Great experience with Ryan.
Very timely in arrival. The technician was very patient in explaining how my system works with 3 different units. He checked the entire system that required him going into my crawl space and attic. Will definitely continue using this company for my cooling and heating needs.
