I have many good things to say about this company and how they manage to exceed expectations and operate at a high level of customer service, while being friendly. These days its hard to find good people and also get what you have paid for. Total Comfort in Danbury CT delivers with a high level of response, customer respect and team performance. Dan and the team, both in the field and in the office were very helpful and * They Do What They Said They Were Going To Do * They installed a new Mitsubishi Mini Split system in our home and were very respectful of the house, very neat and efficient in the work process. They actually identified an existing electrical panel /space issue and fixed it while Not delaying the installation. They adjusted the plan on the spot and left us in better shape than we were in before they showed up. Everyone is easy to work with and they care about you and respect your time and home. I highly recommend using Total Comfort as your heating and A/C company. Finally, it's a nice surprise to contract with a company who is honest and fair and values customer service. This should be as important to you as it is to me: * They Do What they say they would Do! *

Our central air AC compressor went and I could not get even a simple call-back from Total Comfort after 3 days of waiting so decided to try another company. I would absolutely not refer or recommend this company to anyone. Major thumbs down on quality of service. Don’t waste your time!
Very poor service, not on time, their tech has no experience whatsoever he don’t know what is wrong with the system. He could not fix or find the problem but same time I called my AC guy 2 hours way and fixed right way. I will never do business with them
about 10 years ago they installed new central a/c for part of my home. job well done. called them 6 weeks ago and left message with receptionist for quote on install/upgrade on my other central a/c unit. no response. went with a competitor out of Brookfield.
In 2015 Total Comfort installed my heat pump and have maintained it yearly to perfection. This year during the heatwave my system had an issue and didn't work. I have my 83 year old father living with me so I was concerned. I have spoken with the office staff kathy and Debbie many times. I was so impressed to get a call from kathy, making sure we were ok in the extreme heat. All the staff and technicians are wonderful, but I will say Kathy is top notch. Something very rare in this very busy world we live in.
Top notch installers,on time, knowledgeable respectful And immaculately clean...at the end of the day they vacuum any dust etc.....u would never know they were there! Very pleasant young men to have working in your home. I highly recommend their service! I would highly recommend.
Technician was nasty, did not respond to my questions, used foul language in my presence a number of times.
I had a great experience from John on the initial sales call, then with Joe and Scotty during the installation and follow up. The gals in the office are courteous and professional as well. The price was fair and I was given options as well as good advice. I'll be doing my service through them and highly recommend you consider them for your needs.
10 STARS! I've have only good things to say about Kevin and his outstanding technicians at Total Comfort Inc., Danbury. They installed a new system in our home and it works perfectly -- cools down our house in about 5 minutes. . Not everything goes perfectly with a new installation on the first day but they were extremely responsive in fixing the glitches during and after the installation About 3 ms after the installation, We couldn't get the A/C on. We left a message and they called us back at 11pm and there was a technician at my door at 8am. (It was our programming error after all that!). They have all been communicative, easy to work with and empathic I highly recommend using Total Comfort as your heating and a/c provider. I finally found a company who is honest/ fair and values great customer service! : )
I have lived in this town for 36 years and have had many different experiences with a plethora of service providers. Without a doubt my experience with Total Comfort, it’s management and their workforce has been outstanding! Great products but most important totally focused on customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this organization to any in need of their services.
I am in the process of getting estimates to replace my furnace. I have called this company TWICE within the past month, the same secretary takes the info, telling me that someone will call me the next week, as in 4 business days later. Unbelievable! Fast forward, and never any follow up phone call. Guess they are doing so well, that they don't need my business . . I've moved on to their competitors, they've lost any possible business from me. Awful way to run a company.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Total Comfort installed our system 2 years ago we have had nothing but problems. When we call in for a service call we are treated poorly and have to wait six days for a service call. We call a local Ridgefield Business and they fixed the issue right away the same day.
Great family and men working together. Cathy is the best, helping me with my projects. Efficient and on time.
It is unfortunate how poor the customer service representatives are in the Danbury office. 3 separate occasions (all with the same woman, Kathy) all to try and get someone to come service an existing unit. Needless to say, if it is this much of a struggle & the company doesn't need to business, we can go elsewhere.
From the initial phone contact to the salesman and to all installation technicians, all Total Comfort employees were friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. The estimate was for 3 days and they were done in a day and a half. Everyone showed up on time and proposals from Total Comfort sold us a reasonably priced system that fits our home and geographic area and not Florida summers.
