We looked at a few providers for a much needed update of our home heating and cooling system. We had to replace a 14 year old Trane AC and a 20 year old Thermo Pride Oil Furnace. The team at Hefferon was clear, concise, responsive and 100% professional. I loved the "GOOD, BETTER, BEST" proposal options (we went with BEST), and the ability to call or text the office, or the installer with questions. We were able to let them in remotely from our office to do the work. Other than spectacular cool dehumidified air, you'd not know they were here. Highly recommend.

I recently used Hefferon to install a Heat Pump for my house. Ernie and his team were fantastic and walked us through the whole process. The quality of their work is great, but also their knowledge and partnership with EnergizeCT was extremely helpful.
Everyone at this business was amazing! The office staff was very helpful to get me started. The owner and other staff helped me pick out the right place to put the unit and explained everything in detail to me. The men that came to install the unit and hook it up were great! They answered all my questions took time to make sure I understood how to use the new thermostat. Thanks to everyone!!!

Ernie Hefferon made the purchase and Installation of our new Train 2-Stage Air conditioning system with Wi-Fi, a real breeze! Ernie came out to my home and gave us an in-depth presentation for the correct system for our situation. His knowledge and experience gave us a complete understanding to make the correct decision for our home. And the pricing was very competitive. The Heffron team was very professional throughout the entire installation. All of the workmanship was meticulous and our home was barely disrupted during the installation. If you are interested in a new system, I would strongly suggest hearing what Heffron has to offer. Continues to provide outstanding service every year!
My Air Handler stopped working. Hefferon was able to schedule a visit same day and came out. This is my first heat pump / Air Handler and Hefferon was able to explain things clearly how to both use and maintain my system They repaired the electrical issue and did some basic maintenance and I was back in business. I will use them again in the future.
I always cringe when I have to find people to do work for me, but a friend of mine recommended Herreron to me when I was having issues with my Trane setup, and I'm very glad he did. Everyone at Hefferon is fantastic to work with, right from when Dina first answers the phone, to Andrew and Andrew (the Trane gurus), to James for my semi-annual maintenance needs. They were able to sort through my immediate problems right around Christmas time, and always had answers for my copious questions (and it takes patient people to deal with that, coming from me). While I hope that my Trane setup will be reliable and trouble-free for years to come, I know that if any issues arise, Hefferon will be the first people I call (and I won't cringe when I have to).

A few years ago, Hefferon installed an entirely new AC system in my house with the addition of a mini split unit. I continue to be impressed with the professional, courteous, and knowledgeable technicians and office staff who work there. Over the years I have met many of them, and I can tell you that they are well trained, always friendly and respectful. If you are looking for an HVAC company, rest assured that you will stop shopping around after you hire Hefferon. It is a relief these days to find a reputable company that you can rely on!
We have a maintenance contract with Hefferon. They are reasonably priced, are responsive, and the technicians are very professional and considerate. We have had thermostats replaced, as well as dampers, and the work was well done.
Hefferon is professional which is saying a lot these days. New AC system is a significant investment so it’s important the installer knows what they’re doing. His team was responsive, showed up when promised, installed and tested as promised. Highly recommend Hefferon H&C for your AC needs.
I did not use this business because the "receptionist" or the person that answered the phone- I think her name was Dena- was extremely condescending and rude to me. She was on a high horse and was spoke to arrogantly to me. Honestly, I have never be treated like that by a business that I was giving work to.
Installation team was on-time, did good work, were friendly and responsive, performed extra tasks to ensure the job was done right and cleaned up after themselves. Overall very happy with their work.
I couldn’t be happier with Ernie and his team. They were professional, friendly and helpful. When a problem was found with my electrical panel they went above and beyond to fix it. Technician Lee was thorough and efficient. He even rinsed out my compressor and checked it for pest evidence.

Hefferon installed Fujitsu mini-split ductless units at my house. Ernie responded to my inquiry right away and gave me a fair estimate. There was a couple month queue before they could work, but I was ok with that. Evan, Silvio, Simon did the install at my house. They did a great job, very professional and polite, and they spent time with me explaining all the steps in their work. They worked hard from 8:15 until the end of the day when the unit was installed and working. Evan gave my a tutorial and we've been enjoying mini-split heat all through February. I'd recommend Hefferon and will be doing business with them in the future.
