I bought a new home and this company installed my system, first off they didn't properly install pieces of the system. Not only that my furnace wouldn't work correctly because they didn't properly commission the unit. I have been in the industrial/commercial hvac industry for 20 years so luckily I was able to notice these issues. The worst part is when I called them out they had the attitude if I was so good that I should of corrected these issues on my own. Hmmmmm I bought a new home and I'd expect the system that I paid for to be correctly installed. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. But they did respond to my concerns and fixed the incorrectly installed system pieces , although I did need to recover the refrigerant and go a proper evacuation and recharge the system after their repairs because it still wasn't running properly. I waited for a year post moving in to post this just in case something else came up on my warranty.

Tech was super conversational and pleasant. Explained everything to me in simple terms. Quoted me for less than the actual cost, but honored the quote.

Brand new build install and there were multiple issues from the get go and they never returned to address them. We called and called. We were promised a tech over and over but nobody showed up. The Furnace blower wasn’t configured to know that an AC Unit was attached as well as no coolant in the AC. Now we are left with a mess on our hands due to the poor workmanship and unethical business practice of Allied. I cannot recommend them and I cannot do business with a company that won’t fix their installs when given over 10 days to do so. I most certainly do own that home. I’m on the loan on the title and it is listed as my residence. Erica is my wife. She also is a proprietor of the home. Shows how disconnected you are. My mother is Theresa. A 72 year old widow that your company hung out to dry. It was over 10 days of daily commitments from you and your staff. Also we are told you were at our home taking pictures after hours? I would like to know who and when this stalker behavior occurred. This is a big problem as you cannot void our manufacturers warranty and Richmond warranty owns the schedule of trades such yours. If you all want to call yourselves that. Again 72 year old widow with allergies and Ashma went over 10 days which caused a major health issue. I just want all to know what kind of business you run and what kind of business ethics you operate by. I’ll be calling in to chat with you further about the unsolicited phone calls and stalking.

Allied installed our AC unit. It never worked properly and they never returned to fix it. We have a full warranty but Allied doesn’t have good business ethics. They never came back and fixed our defective AC unit. We called them daily for weeks as it was an emergency.

I moved in a new construction few months ago. I turned on my AC first time yesterday. The AC was cooling the house but was making a lot of noise outside. Since I have a warranty on my house I thought that I will have to contact my warranty next day to have a look at. It was a moment of UGH! there is is another issue to deal with. I am single mom so there is a lot to deal with every day. Suddenly I hear knock on my door. Allied was doing some work in my neighborhood! Cory from Allied told me that he turned off my AC because there is something wrong with this and offered to check my AC! There was some element that was blocking the fan and was making a noise. He fixed it for me as a courtesy!!!!! I am so grateful for such a kindness! You don't see that anymore these days! Cory! You are my angel. It was a perfect moment for someone to help me with something. I will always call you for service. I am so grateful! I will tell all my friends about you. Outstanding customer service! Thank you soooo much!

The service technicians came out and did their best to repair the old gas furnace, including a second attempt on a Saturday morning swapping out parts. They shared their diagnosis and said that the old furnace should be replaced, which is what I'm doing. Thanks guys!

They did the HVAC for our new build house, we moved in and the furnace is leaking gas, so we had the gas company come out. They shut the gas off to the house and red flag the furnace. We've called Allied 4 times and we've got no response from them. Not only they complete ly messed up the furnace and created an extremely dangerous situation, they won't even call us back to fix it. The plumber has already been out, and since the gas is leaking from the control valve on the furnace, it isn't his job to fix it. The gas company also said the HVAC people are the ones we needed to contact.

The techs are very nice, no complaints regarding technicians! We bought a Richmond Home 2.5 years ago and have had consistent issues with the furnaces and air conditioning. We had a third party come out to look at our air conditioning and found a leak that they felt was covered by warranty. I called Allied to discuss this issue and they apologized for all of the times they had to come out to the house and said they would make it right and replace the coil that was leaking. The techs came out to house today to fix the coil that was leaking (videos to show) and I received a call from someone at the office (don't know her name) and she was extremely rude, telling me that she's "pulling her guys off of the job" because the 3rd party damaged the air conditioning. She claimed that the 3rd party broke the damper, overcharged the system, that there wasn't a leak, and said something about damaged wires. She told me she was going to charge me $198 since they came out and it wasn't covered by warranty. When I said I would not pay $198, she said "well I told you I'd charge you if it wasn't warranty but I guess I won't charge you". Not sure why she felt that her approach was the best way of handling the situation. It's Allied not installing the HVAC systems correctly and not standing behind their work. Not only is Allied not standing behind their work, but her approach to the situation and their overall handling of customer service is disgusting. This was such a disappointment after 2 years of disappointment. Please think twice about working with Allied!

Closed system lost charge, we don’t cover this under warranty. Brand new system no warranty support. This is unacceptable.

Just got off the phone with them about 20 minutes ago. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, a woman picked up. I wasn’t able to catch her name, but she was rude and snarky. I called because our AC unit went out on Friday. We called them yesterday and they assured us a technician would give us a call. He never did. So I called today to check the status, and was sorely disappointed by the customer service rep. She was rude and snarky, informing me that they wouldn’t get me in until August 11. When I asked her how they could expect us to go almost a month without a working AC unit, she rudely said I am no longer obligated to wait for them and to find someone else. I’m nine months pregnant with a toddler. This is our home and we have no place else to go. Don’t waste your time with a company that lacks any sort of empathy and doesn’t even train their customer service reps in the proper way to talk to people.

This Company was wonderful to work with! Ben and Corey did an excellent job installing our new AC and Furnace. They were both so professional and their work was top notch! I highly recommend this company to everyone.

I wanted to specifically recognize one of the technicians at Allied, Cory. Cory installed a replacement air conditioning unit when the current unit in my townhome failed. Cory went above and beyond what was expected of him and made sure that the replacement would happen as soon as possible. He was friendly, polite, professional, and most of all, stepped outside of his required duties to help me answer some other questions and fix minor issues. He really cared about my wellbeing and his actions showed that in a big way. I hope that Allied can recognize Cory for the incredible employee he is and how thoroughly satisfied I am with his services. He is the reason I will be turning to Allied for any and all future HVAC needs. Thanks Cory!

Worth the wait - Ben has been fantastic on two separate appointments, answering a million questions. As my mother-in-law said, "I can finally sleep at night without worrying about our furnace and AC!"

My husband called multiple times to have a tech come out to our house and look at our heater. He was told each time a tech would be contacting him asap. It has now been over 5 days and still no call. We were able to call another local business that came out that very same day and was great! I wish we could review Allied actual service but we never even got to see a tech let alone have them perform work. Be wary if you are looking for quick + responsive service!

Im super impressed with this company. They stand by their work 100%. Chris is the tech who came out to our house. I highly recommend requesting him. He arrived right on time, got in and got to work. The issue was not easy to find but he was able to locate the problem and knocked it out right there. The man knows his stuff, it’s gonna be a cool summer for us!

I hired Allied to clean and inspect our furnace in preparation for the sale of our house. Ben came out and did and exceptional job. Everything was cleaned properly, and he checked everything I asked him to check on behalf of the buyer. Ben offered us some stress relief during a stressful time, which we greatly appreciated!

Not sure what on earth happened but the ac unit they installed is making a horrible screeching sound. Like a nail is being scraped along something inside. It's emmenating this horrible smell almost like a gas leak or something. If I didn't know any better, I'd think there was an animal stuck inside of it. I tried to call to get the guy to come back and theyre saying its my fault (I've only had this ac unit for two days and haven't messed with it. Its been making the sound since the guy left). I'm having a different company come in to check. Will update once I have more news. EDIT: not sure what animal was stuck in the unit by that's what the noise was coming from. The whole unit had to be scrapped because of the crusted blood within the unit.
