Michael was fantastic from beginning to end. We had 2 homes that needed service. He called before showing and was in the estimated time window . He was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly and in ways that made sense to me. We used Welzig to replace furnaces last year and will continue to use Welzig for when the ac units need replacing. Highly recommend.
A/C not working, called Welzig who responded same afternoon.The technician, James, was very thorough, diagnosed the problem and fixed our problem. He was very nice and informative.
Thermostat showed a “problem” Tuesday evening. I called Welzig after hours and made an appointment for today. Santana showed up promptly and did a thorough check of the furnace and thermostat. The furnace continued to work fine after the notice and checked out fine today. Likely a glitch but very helpful tech said to let them know if the problem notice happened again. Very glad they worked me in so quickly, I told them that the AC had to have Freon added seems like every year, so after the technician left and after 500 dollars I realized that the unit is not fixed and will require another service call and more Freon when they come back to see if they can find the leak! Just seems like 500 dollars would go to fixing the problem?
Austin was great. I like Austin. I have used Welzig for over 20 years but I didn't like they couldn't do ducts under 4" of which two of seven were under 4". They should have a second, smaller brush, or a second machine that gets the smaller ducts. One such duct was in the walk-in closet and one was in the half bath. They didn't get cleaned. So prorate the cost accordingly and give me a coupon to Stanley Steemer for two ducts, assuming Stanley Steemer can do the smaller ducts. Rest assured I will find out next time.
Welzig technicians are always knowledgeable, professional, and very nice (even with our barking dog). We’ve had a new furnace, A/C, mini-split, and home humidifier installed by them, and all of that plus a tankless water heater serviced by them, and everything has always been smooth, timely, and well done! 🤓
Both Saul and Jimmy were very nice very clean and did good installations that are professional. We still haven’t use the heat or air conditioning because of current weather!

I had a new humidifier put in yesterday and I can already feel the difference in the air. I've been using welzig for over twenty years and they have never failed me. They are very courteous, prompt, and professional. Love this company!

In 2012, I had Welzig install a replacement furnace on my townhome and they did such a great professional job that when I started thinking of replacing my 23 year old AC unit, I decided to call Welzig again. Met with Michael and he took me through all the basics of heat pump vs AC unit and I settled on a new Bryant 2 stage unit. James and Jimmy were here today and spent the day doing an outstanding job of installing the new unit in my townhome. They were professional and at the end of installation took me through all that was done with new copper tubing, drains, ducting, etc. Then we went outside and after James turned the AC unit on via thermostat, he waited to make sure the second stage kicked in, and took the time to explain everything to me. Could not ask for better service. I highly recommend Welzig for AC and furnace installations, and ask for James and Jimmy to do the installation...you'll be very happy with their work.
Excellent service for years. Recently installed water heater and heat/cool thermostadt with superb results. Highly recommended!

MAY 2023- It’s so nice to find a reliable, trustworthy local busines that you can have inside your home to do the job right! Xavier was our tech today to do the annual A/C check. He was friendly, efficient and informative on what my future needs may be without being pushy to sell me another product. Bill at Welzig on the phone gave me good advice about Welzig‘s air duct cleaning service. No pressure from him either. Thank you once again, Welzig🙂 SEPT 2022-So we’ve had an unusually sweltering 🥵September here in Colorado 99° F+ degrees recently. Unfortunately, during this hot 2 weeks my air-conditioning began to wane in its performance. I thought my AC unit was finally dying. I called Welzig and once again I got a great phone rep. answering the phone. She said she had an appointment slot open for the next day! I told her I’d call when I get off of work and she offered why don’t I send them a text. As soon as he was ready to come service my A.C., Scott Bonahon texted AND called me back to say that he was on his way. He was professional, friendly, troubleshot quickly and was very informative on what he thought the issue was. When are you going to disappointment me, Welzig? I don’t think ever!! Thanks for being consistent with not only your phone peeps but with your service techs, too….EVERY TIME!😊 JUNE 2022---Although I have not posted a Google review about Welzig since my last one 2 years ago, I have continued to use their services twice a year for either air conditioning or heater annual maintenance. And once again, never a disappointment with either the helpful and friendly phone reps. (Olivia and I think, Ashley?) or the knowledgeable HVAC techs. who come to do the tune-up. Today that tech was Jake Davies. He texted ahead that he was on his way, politely knocked on the door, and after a nice greeting set straight to work.
