We are very happy that we went with Basset over the other options we explored! They were extremely prompt with our request and attentive to what we were wanting. We felt confident with the technicians and the install. It's been working great so far!
Every single person I interacted with from Basset was incredibly professional and competent. The technician for my first inspection, Thomas, was very polite and detail-oriented explaining what was wrong with the system. The lovely ladies at the office (Darlene and Ashley especially) were so incredibly pleasant and helpful setting everything up, and the technicians that actually did the installation, Tristan and Jordan, were very polite and efficient. I was kept in the loop on everything, they made sure there was no mess left behind when they finished, and the whole process was as stress-free as possible. UPDATE: June 2023, needed my AC fixed during a heat wave. I got an appointment scheduled fast and easy, the technician (Christian) showed up perfectly on time and was very friendly and professional. He walked me through what he was working on to diagnose the issue and kept me informed the whole time. Very easy, pleasant experience overall and now my house is actually comfortable again.
As an up date if you look they have a ten year warranty but because the owner didn't like my review they said they aren't coming back out. Another company here now and as suspected they are finding problem with Bassett's work so looks like since Mike chose to be unprofessional about this I may be taking them to court. All they had to do was honor their work and this could have been avoided. In response to your comment I have to say that I have a right to leave a negative review and if you don't like it then maybe you should reach out and try to fix the problem. I had to get window air since the air you installed didn't do anything upstairs. Yes you all came out but offered no solution and said there was nothing wrong with the airflow so we gave up. I now have another company involved and they do see a problem with the airflow that you all said didn't exist. You all have my phone if you want to disgus this. But I will not be bullied by you to give you a good review
Basset Heating & Air Conditioning Sent Lorenzo Colon,& Tristan Walker to install a furnace at our home. They were very friendly and did a great job.They answered all my questions. I would recommend Basset highly to anyone looking for a good heating company.

The service was great and tech was polite 5 stars for him When I called, I was told it would be $89 for a clean out and plus fees for anything they need to fix, I did ask questions about the plus fees, to make sure I understood. Unfortunately they were not honest up front and they charged $89 diagnostic fee and $177 per hour is the plus fee If I was told this up front I would of called a couple more places.
Very professional and thorough from start to finish. I had to replace my furnace due to it not generating any heat and also being an old model; however, they were able to completely replace it the next day while I was away at work. I just left my front door unlocked and the technician called me when he arrived, when he left, and explained the whole process very clearly. There were no issues whatsoever and the furnace worked perfectly. I also qualified for a 12 month, 0% interest installment plan for the furnace, which made it much less of a financial burden. Lastly, they helped schedule a city inspector for the following week to ensure the installation was up to standard. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing HVAC issues and I'll personally continue to use them in the future.
We have been members with Bassett heating and cooling going on 2 years now. We have had the pleasure of working with several employees, and they were all great. Unfortunately, we have seen the plumber James quite a bit due to pvc pipes leaking, plastic tub leaking, and pipe around the toilet cracked. He is absolutely amazing, finds the issue, and fixes it quickly. They do everything from doing routine cleaning outs, furnace tune ups, air duct cleaning, and even replacing tubs. I can't say enough about this company, and I will continue being a member.
We hired Basset to install an air purifier and whole house humidifier. They were very professional, helpful and affordable as well. Would definitely recommend!
I have used Basset Heating for several different projects and pretty much everything from plumbing to HVAC to electrical for my personal and rentals properties for more than 10 years and have always had excellent service and all the employees have always been over the top This time I needed a furnace and a/c replaced in a rental house and Tristan was sent out to complete the work. He is young and I wondered if he was going to be capable of this difficult job, because it wasn’t an ordinary install. But in the end, I couldn’t be more impressed with his workmanship and his personality If I could, I would rate Tristan more than a 10. Before I sold my business and retired a couple months ago, as a business owner in the construction industry for 37 years, I would have treasured having a younger man of his generation, with the work ethics, professionalism, knowledge in his industry and the customer service attitude that he has. My replacement new furnace was to be installed in a VERY tight crawl space and very difficult to get to. He told me it was going to be no problem, that he understood and would guarantee my tenant would have heat by the end of the day. He wasted no time getting to work and got the VERY OLD furnace out in no time at all, having to take it apart in more than a dozen pieces and got the new one back down in the tight hole and started to fabricate new duct work with persision. Even though they had to work later than expected, he definitely had the new furnace installed and heat on before sundown and not once did he slow down or complain and never any negative words about the difficult working conditions and I was there all day. He was also very informative and willing to explain what and why he was doing things, but never stopped working while explaining. and treated his helper very cordial and positive. And let me just say he didn’t act that way to try to impress me, because I wasn’t totally by his side all day, but I was able to observe him and he
I requested a quote to replace an old and very tired A/C unit. Thomas reviewed my existing installation and made clear and concise recommendations. Having accepted their proposal, Lorenzo and Wyatt removed the old and installed the new unit promptly and efficiently. They were courteous, attentive and tolerant of my inquiries and concerns. Their workmanship was impeccable and they left the workspace clean and with no evidence of their having been on site. Overall I was very satisfied with Basset and their service. And I like Basset Hounds.
Fantastic company to deal with. Came and fixed an issue. Same day. That Gold Rush plumbing couldn’t fix in multiple trips. 10/10 recommend. James specifically was the tech. And Andrea from the office FANTASTIC

Sooo glad I took the day off to get a "free quote" for my 40 gallon Water Heater replacement. They never showed up. Funny too, because they sent me Text AND Email reminders about our appointment. I waited past the 3 hour window they gave me, then never heard from them again. Time wasted. Money wasted. Will never give them the time of day after this... if you dont have respect for MY time, then you don't deserve my time or money. Luckily I found another company for $1500 to replace my water heater... do your resarch ...
During this cold spell our heater stopped working. I panicked but there was no need. Within 24 hours Basset Heating had my new heater installed and running. The young men who came clearly knew what they were doing. They were very polite and just plain nice to have in my home. They explained to me what went on and in my opinion went above and beyond what I expected. So yes I will definitely be using this company again in the near future. Thank you again Tristian
Honest and detailed assessment of furnace. Gave a repair versus replacement estimates. Pros and cons. Identified a change in code which added cost. Previous company didn't catch the code change. Went with a different company but that decision was not a reflection on Bassett. Would recommend doing business with them.
Everyone was so friendly, from the young lady I spoke with on the phone, Tristan who came out to inspect, Christian and Brad who installed, and the other gentleman that came out to test the furnace. They were all professional, friendly, and got the installation completed quicker than anticipated. I also like they are a local company. Very happy customers - 5 stars!
I knew what needed to be done (Shower valve replacement). I just wanted a ballpark estimate for the work that needed to be done so I'd know if I could afford it right now. They refuse to give an estimate over the phone, but said for $89 they would send someone out to give me the estimate in person. So unless you go with whatever $$ they make up you're out that $89. What a joke. Mr. Rooter is sending a plumber for free to quote the cost (their standard practice).
