Tyler came out to look at why our thermostat had failed as well as give us a quote to have the water heater relocated. He was on time, very professional, very thorough in his troubleshooting and offered great recommendations/solutions. Very happy with his service!
They’re outrageously expensive! But Lion Home Service does call you back to make appointments, they call you 30-45 minutes before they arrive to give you a heads up, the employees show up on time, are nice, and do good work. Unfortunately they charge way too much, so I won’t be using them again. I am a senior single female, so I have to watch my expenses! If they charged reasonably, I would continue to use this company. 5 stars for their work, but 1 star since they over-charge, so I gave them 3 stars.
I had an unexpected failure on a water heater right before the 4th of July. Lion was able to fit me into the schedule and resolve the situation in a timely manner, even coming out on the holiday to replace the water heater with a new one. The technician Michael was professional and friendly, and his install looks good. He also was accurate about when he would arrive and how long the work would take. I talked with several different members of the Lion service team throughout the process of this job and they all were courteous, communicative, and seemed invested in making sure the customer was happy. Very responsive and easy to work with company.
These guys are professional, fast, and they do why they say they will do. Service is great. However, be prepared to pay for that. Their costs on a project will be double most any other estimate you get. But if you are in a time crunch, and you need something taken care of quickly and professionally, Lion will show up and get it done. Sometimes it’s worth paying for that.

We needed a quick turnaround plumbing job done. Andy was prompt, courteous and professional. Got the job done sooner the. We ever imagined. Great work! Would recommend to anyone needing prompt service.
Overall, my experience and service was pretty good. They did schedule my install and never told me what day or time, which was a tad frustrating, but it all worked out.
Every one who came out was good. I had an overall check and there was a problem so the plumber from lions came out…. Every time someone comes out they are wonderful! The guys that came out at two different times were wonderful- they were very friendly and they knew what they were doing. I will recommend lions to everyone I know when the opportunity arises I’m extremely pleased! I give the most stars possible!
Incredible next day availability to replace a leaking system, saving us from worrying over a holiday weekend. Technician was prompt and professional, took his time to understand the situation and address all our questions, and really just made us feel confident the problem was solved.
Great customer service, Lion was able to come by same day for an issue with my A/C, the tech was courteous, professional and all around great person. Im very impressed with Lion and I plan on doing more business with them in the future.
I would not recommend this company. Lion Home Service charges 4-5 times the market rate. We had our tankless water heater flushed (just flushed) and it cost $417. Another plumbing company does it for $149. Lion Home Service has a coupon for a water heater flush for $49 but they said that was for a traditional water tank and would not accept it. Both systems take about 1 hour and the main difference is that a tankless used a chemical to descale the system. That chemical can not cost enough to make the price $417. The company uses these type of tactics to get their foot in the door and then increase the cost. Do your home work and shop around for a better price or at least get a second opinion. Update: Lion Home Service did honor their coupon and refund the cost of their service. I did spend a lot of time discussing this issue with their service manager and they were not responsive until I filed this review with a one star rating. I do feel that the person who serviced our tankless system should have at least advised us to get the fan cleaned or replaced. He stood next to me and we discussed how loud the fan is and that the system needed to be replaced; but not cleaned. I cleaned the fan myself and it is so much quieter. I did raise my rating from one star to a two star due to the refund.
Michael was competent, professional, friendly, and did perfect work. Lion Home Services was quick with scheduling, provided a 2 hour window (not an 8-hr one), notified us when the tech was on the way, allowed us to track the technician and had easy payment. Just a great tech and company. We have used numerous Lion techs and service lines. All have been worth the money.
Taylor was a very skilled technician, very pleasant and professional. I was great full that he answered the call for help. I rate him 6 stars.
Beware. These guys charge premium cost but do not provide premium service. They will only be helpful if they are going to make big $$$. They’ve been here twice to get me a working thermostat and neither time has been successful. They rescheduled me twice to then not actually properly install my thermostat. The guy took the thermostat manual and box with him so I have no idea how to try and get it working properly. It will be another two days to get someone out to here to fix it. Such a joke.
My experience with Lion Home Services was exceptional from beginning to end. The responded quickly to my request for help, and were able to come the same week to troubleshoot my issue. The technician, Tyler, was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained to me what was going on with my system and how to maintain it. Will absolutely be referring them and using them for future needs.
AC unit went out. They tried to repair. Technician was great, but AC officially went out 30 minutes after he left, which he told me that could happen. Called to buy a unit and get it installed and they can’t even see me to go over prices until Friday, 6 days away. I will buy unit now, why can’t you install today??? People don’t want to work anymore is getting really old.
Lion is always on time and on point with great customer service. They show up after hours if there are ever any issues. I have always had a positive experience with this company.
We had an a pipe burst & Michael showed up within 30 minutes of calling. It was very timely and quality service. I will likely use them again if a situation arises.
Cody was great! He did some troubleshooting and ended up only charging us our $29 service fee. Didn't try to sell us anything. Said if the problem comes back and he has to do real work that he'll waive the fee next time. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks again!
Lion Home Services is on the pricier side, but they're quality has consistently been great for any service you use through them. My compressor went out on my A/C and Ramiro came out to diagnose it. He was friendly and knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions on ways I could maintenance my AC on my own to extend its life. Always happy with this service.
