Deon was phenomenal in assessing the possibilities for our furnace needs and answering the multitude of questions I had, with an utter lack of pressure to purchase from them.
Love Allen plumbing, they arrive on time, call prior to arriving. They did a complete inspection on my furnace and then fixed everything quickly and at a fair rate. Will be having them back for future needs.
Ryan was very thorough and professional. He examined our plumbing issue and gave us his recommendations.

I received a free furnace and AC unit inspection as a part of my Allen membership. The technician was on time, friendly, helpful (cleaned my reusable furnace filer) and did a thorough inspection and monitoring. Fortunately everything was deemed in good working condition. There was no undue/unwanted pressure to make any purchases. He made a complete verbal and written report.
Another great service from Allen Service! We replaced our water heater and Jake did a fabulous job not only installing the new system but taking the time to explain how it works and how best to use it. We will always return to Allen Service for all our infrastructure needs!

I couldn’t have Had a worse experience. Salesmen Chance said new furnace would be noticeably better and it wasn’t. Told me installers would clear out crawl space and left trash. They didn’t tell me I needed to schedule inspection with city had to figure it out for myself. I called to ask questions about air filter and nobody called me back for days. Air conditioner hasn’t worked right since they installed the furnace and told me they couldn’t send someone out until next week. They say they are all about service but they are not. Very expensive. Don’t be fooled use someone else.
This company has been such a disappointment. We decided to spend more and go with this company-thinking repuation would preceed itself. The quality of the system is not as great as promised.. ok but after installation these people dont call back. For anything. From a question about a filter type, to a scheduled city inspection... to issues with the system itself that cost $8k - definitely no call back. This company let us down in several ways. I'll simplify with I regret choosing them and would recommend others go another route. Sadly, Allen was a poor decision. You cant count on them and will end up paying another company when the weather is bad and you have no choice.
In March of 2022 I needed a new furnace. The sales rep said I should get a new air conditioner at the same time since it was over 20 years old and it would save me on labor if both were installed at the same time. Sounded like a good idea, so I agreed and paid nearly 12k for both. That year on the hottest day I turned on the A/C and no air. I think they were here about 6 different times for several hours. Each technician said it was something different and “fixed” what they thought was wrong. Finally replaced the unit with a larger one and got it figured out. Last week on the hottest day of the year I turned on the air and it never went below 75 degrees. They couldn’t get anyone out for two days and advised me to keep it shut off. Receptionist said I would pay a service fee. Really? A unit that’s only a year old and cost 12k? The technician came out and said I would probably have to black out my windows and skylights, and keep my ceiling fans going to keep it under 75 degrees. My 20 year old unit did just fine without doing this. So basically I paid 12k to cool my house about 5 degrees, since it normally doesn’t get above 80 degrees without air. I expressed my frustration to him and he said he spoke to management and would bring it up in the morning meeting. This was last Wednesday, as of today I haven’t heard from anyone to check in and see how things are functioning. Not impressed.
The technician, Isaac, correctly diagnosed completely addressed my electrical problem. He also offered valuable insights into how I can better manage on-going preventive maintenance for my home's plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical systems.

Allen Service wanted to charge $620 to replace our garbage disposal with a unit - like the one currently installed - that we had already purchased. The technician knew the price when he walked in the door, and when he told us what it was, we said no way! He then charged us $89 for the service call. I called Allen Service as I was frustrated that they would not give us any sort of estimate by phone and basically charged $89 to come to our door to say the ridiculously high price they would charge. The technician knew the price before he walked in the door, so why couldn't we have been told it as well, even if it was stated as an estimate? Had they told us in advance, I would have said don't bother coming - not at $620 for less than 2 hours work and us providing the disposal.
This is the second time in the past couple of years that Andrew has fixed issues that have come up with our plumbing and each time he leaves things better than they were. Today was a routine flushing of the tankless water heater, but he also found a small but significant part that needed replacement to put the system back in full working order. Everything was clearly explained and there were no surprises regarding cost. (Since the system is still under warranty there was no extra charge for the part or its installation.) Should we need any further work, large or small, with our plumbing Andrew is the person we will ask for.
I've had all great experiences with Allen Service! We're a part of their membership program - you pay a small fee per month - and then get your air conditioning and heating units tuned-up each season, don't pay for service calls, and get additional discounts. I feel like we've definitely come out ahead financially being part of this program. Additionally, the staff is awesome - quick scheduling, really knowledgeable and respectful team. Highly recommend.
Gave us good advice without pressure to buy. Carried out the job thoroughly and.all their workers were pleasant to deal with. Turned up on time and communicated clearly.
We recently needed an Electrician when several of our electrical outlets in different rooms all stopped working and we couldn't figure out the issue. Thankfully none of our major appliances were affected, and we called Allen Service on a Friday afternoon and techs were at our house 8 a.m. Monday. They determined the issue and provided several recommendations to fix the problem at several price points depending on our budget. All options were given without any pressure to choose a certain one, and then the work was performed then and there for a same-day fix. The technicians were professional, friendly, polite, clean, and efficient. We will certainly call on Allen Service again for our next electrical need!
