Ben with Upslope Heating and Cooling has been a lifesaver! He is always available when I need help with both my business and home . He and Stacey came out and took care of some issues we were having with our HVAC at our new home. They cleaned it up, patched up some leaks and put in a new thermostat,. Our house is now cooling nicely and running more efficiently. Thanks guys, I appreciate your help! Looking forward to getting our whole house humidifier installed in September!
Met Ben at ACE Hardware to ask questions about some issues I was having with my PRV. After that I was sold just based of his character. When he came to my house he was clear on what needed to be done and I was hooked. From the start time to the finish time Ben was amazing. Moving forward he Upslope will be my number one choice. I will recommend their service to all of my friends.
We were looking for a company that could help up maintain our swap cooler/attic fan system. I reached out to Upslope Heating and Cooling Co and Ben based on the stellar Google reviews. It was easy to set up an appointment not too far into the future. On the day of the service call, Ben let me know when he was on his way to my house and arrived well within the service window. He skillfully diagnosed and fixed the problem - so my house is nice and cool now! We had a great experience with Ben and Upslope Heating and Cooling! The things I appreciated most were 1) The ease of setting up the appointment. 2) Ben spent quite a bit of time explaining how to use our cooling system most effectively. 3) Ben and his co-worker were very professional so it was very easy and comfortable having them working around the house. Over the past 4 years, Ben bought us time on a system that was aging quickly. When we decided to upgrade our heating and AC system, along with our water heater, Ben heard our concerns about the previous system and future desires. The finished product more than met our expectations. Throughout the project, Ben emphasized comfort and efficiency for the system while being responsive to our needs. The work was completed amidst a full home remodel and Ben and his team were flexible and understanding. We would recommend Upslope for all your HVAC needs.
Ben and Dylan saved the day! I woke up to a leaking hot water heater/side arm tank which is attached to our boiler. They arrived quickly (even though we had 6 inches of snow and many schools and business were closed.). He was able to stop the leak, diagnose the issue and install the new parts the same day. I highly recommend Upslope Heating and Cooling!
There are not the right words to express my Appreciation for Ben Chavez and his sons Cameron and Braxton! Whenever you leave Ben a message, he calls you back to see how he can assist. I had the pleasure of asking for their help, when a cousin's AC needed repair. That appointment has provided me with a true trade that cares! Ben has replaced a furnace at a rental and our home! Then a new AC at our Son's home and our home. Then he was contacted for a new Humidifier at our home and our Son's.. Also he installed a new air purifier at our Son's and our home! He added a return to help with efficiency at our Son's. We have a standing appointment for maintenance and cleaning to prolong the life of our systems. I hope you realize from this post, you can have a trusted HVAC Provider when you need assistance! All you need to do, is add Upslope Heating and Cooling to your cell! You will not regret the trust you give him!!!!!
Ben was able to come out on short notice during a recent cold snap to address intermittent heat from our old furnace. He spent a great deal of time testing the existing equipment and we agreed a new furnace was needed. They were able to install the new furnace before Thanksgiving and another cold night. Service was professional, courteous, and timely.
Ben was competent, professional, communicated well and was accommodating to my schedule. I will use Upslope Heating and Cooling again.

Made an appointment to get a quote on residential AC improvements. They said they would be there between 9-11. Showed up 30 min late. Spent an hour with me looking at our vents. At the end of the meeting tried to pressure me into making immediate decisions that were overpriced as well as sell me a germ filtration system I had no interest in. Then they told me it would be $165 for this “service call”. No mention of said fee prior to this. Enjoy the $165 that’s the last dollar you’ll get from me. Working with another company that will be doing $2400 in improvements to our system. They were much more professional and transparent. Would not recommend this company. Update: the owners response below reiterates how unprofessional he is. He gave a better review of himself and how he does business than I could ever have done. Very thankful we went with someone else.
Mr. Chavez the owner personally came out on a Sunday to do an emergency repair for my Mother. He was not only very professional but also extremely compassionate about our situation. He wouldn’t leave until the job was 100% completed and personally went and got additional supplies required. I fully recommend this company to anyone and will promote to family and friends.
The guys at upslope were incredibly helpful and informative, and took the time to educate me about my ancient swamp cooler. They did a great job cleaning it and it works now! They also inspected our furnace and replaced it's air filter even though they didn't have to. We hope we can hire them again for a job soon!
Ben and Cameron arrived promptly at 11 am on May 2 to replace a humidifier pad and to do yearly cleaning and check up of furnace and air conditioner. Ben had installed the furnace two years ago and the humidifier last year. Upon changing the pad they noticed that there was a problem with the solenoid. After attempting to clean it, it was determined a replacement was needed. Ben left to go pickup a new one. Since it was still under warranty there was no charge for the part. It was installed and they began to check the furnace. They advised me that the filters I was using were inferior and showed me the very dirty one they had removed. They replaced it with a better quality filter and left some for use at replacement times. The checkup and cleaning showed no other concerns The air conditioner was cleaned and no problems were noted. As they turned the water back on, they turned on faucets in bathrooms and kitchen. Ben noticed how slow the drain was in master bath sink. I had been bothered by that foursome time. He proceeded to clear the drain which now works perfectly I have used them for the past two years and find them to be professional, friendly and competent.

Their recommendations are honest and valued. I liked the they way they done the job and the way they treated me. We have a very old furnace that has been on its way out for sometime now. Ben has been very helpful in the past to help replace a faulty igniter. For the past week our furnace has been making aweful mechanical noises, and though the heat still moved through our home, my concern grew as the noise got worse. Friday, the heat stopped completely and one of the motors just made a loud whining noise. So I shut the system off and called Upslope on Saturday. Ben was happy to help and come to my house that day, however, out of respect I chose to wait until today to have him stop by. After all, we all need a weekend to relax. Before I could call him, my phone rang and to my surprise it was Ben. He had remembered all of the details we talked about and took the initiative to call me concerned about my situation. I happily agreed to have him come by to diagnose the problem. Within 2 hou he found the problem, fixed it, and gave me solid advice for what I should do next in replacing my old unit. I trust this company and Ben is excellent at his skills. Before you call anyone else, trust Upslope Heating and Cooling first.
