In the midst of a miserable cold snap (way into negative numbers) my furnace decided to stop working correctly. I called this company and they were quick to respond and schedule a repairman. Even though he had a fender bender on the slick streets he came over, diagnosed the problem, ran over to a supply store on those same slick streets and fixed my heater. Thanks so much for your efficiency, competence and great attitude. Highly recommended.
Van Genderen is an honest, reliable, professional and just an all around great company. Communication is amazing from booking a service, to having questions answered quickly and efficiently from the office and then the Technician himself (thanks Bob). The service requested is always carried out promptly, with care and attention to your home and cleanliness and all necessary steps are explained well and documented. We were lucky to have found them.
Van Genderen saved the day! our furnace went out overnight just before a predicted 10° cold front. we called at 8am and within the hour our technician Bob arrived. he had the furnace running and the heat going in no time at all. Van Genderen is our new HVAC go to.
Work done was very thorough! Besides cleaning my furnace Ryan determined why a bedroom was not getting enough heat. He explained options to remedy the issue. Ryan was very personable too!
I called them for a second opinion on an estimate we had gotten to fix the furnace motor. They were $200 less than the original estimate. The repairman was prompt and professional and finished the job quickly. I would highly recommend.
I decided to contact Van Genderen and get their second input. Brad came out, and he knew exactly what he was doing. He was professional, smart and quick. He walked me through what was going on and now how to properly maintain my HVAC system. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Van Genderen! Prior to contacting Van Genderen, I had another Tech from a different AC repair company (Denver's Best heating and repair) came over and wanted to replace my entire HVAC system. The guy inspected my unit WITHOUT any tools and gauges; and just by "looking at it" he could tell it wasn't going to be able to get fixed. He said I had a refrigeration leak, and I was out of Freon. This was a sales man, not a repair man.
Had a burning smell coming from my furnace. Van Genderen was able to schedule an appointment for the very same day. Technicians Dave and Ryan arrived right on time, and were able to quickly diagnose what was up (furnace was running too hot) and why (blower motor wasn't working properly). They replaced the motor for what I felt was a fair price, and also cleaned up the coils. They even gave me some helpful recommendations on filter type and which registers to keep open. They were very professional people, and I intend to use this company for future HVAC maintenance and service.
David and Ryan were great. They were able to fix my furnace and get the heat back on in no time. Very nice guys and very knowledgeable, giving me tips on what to do to prevent the high limit switch from being triggered. Thanks Van Genderen for a good furnace repair experience.
Really happy with the service I received! Dave and Ryan were here on time, extremely courteous, efficient, and were super nice to my dog :) They went above and beyond - got my humidifier up and running and cleaned up the furnace in addition to the repair. I woke up to a cold house this morning and dreaded trying to work from home with cold fingers. They showed up and fixed my unit before I had my second cup of coffee! Professional service all the way including talking to their office this morning. Very satisfied with this company!
We called, spoke with Sarah, and Dave serviced our furnace the next day. We could not be more pleased with Dave. Dave was very professional and helpful. Van Genderen Has saved me more than once. They have repaired the air-conditioning at my father's and our home. Ours occurred during a week of extremely high temperatures. They were able to respond quickly, on-time and professionally got our system up and running great! Very appreciative!

We've been customers for over 15 years and had 2 retro fiitred A/C systems put in expertly and cleanly. Today 8/3/ 21 an urgent problem occurred with water dripping from our attic related to our attic furnace/A/C device. It was fixed on a hot day within 3 hours of discovery. Hard to find a company like this. We will never change to any other HVAC company Mike and Carol Sarche
