Masood helped troubleshoot the installation of two nest thermostats. We found the issue with the common wire and resolved it. Great experience while they were here. However, the unclear service pricing was a bit annoying. When booking the appointment, the agent was unable to provide any estimations of additional costs other than the $89 visit charge. No general labor costs or ballpark ranges for certain jobs explaining that only the technician would know once they evaluated the job. Once Masood began to resolve the issue, the $89 visit charge turned into a $255 labor charge mid-job, with the $89 visit charge being put toward to the $255 labor costs. I expected the job to cost more once they assessed the issue but I suppose the sticker shock of a +186% cost increase surprised me. Masood explained that if I experienced any further issues, I would not be charged the $255 for labor again and would only be billed for the parts. Once they were here, they did a great job and I’m hoping the fix lasts. I’m happy the issue is resolved but the lack of clarity upfront on pricing was frustrating. After the job, I looked at the website and I was unable to find labor pricing on their website but if it’s there then I missed it.

My thermostat was broken and worked horribly responding slowly to commands and not even changing temperature. Once I called Prime Genius my thermostat was fixed and worked amazingly.
