We needed to replace our furnace and all the ducts which was going to be a huge job and wanted a company that was professional, licensed and bonded, clean, thorough and reliable. We are so thankful we chose P & M Mechanical. Michelle and Nicole were great to work with and the installers/technicians were very courteous, hard workers and they cleaned up each day before they left. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs to replace their furnace or needs any service done.
We thought we were only interested in central air conditioning, to be used with our existing forced air gas furnace, but when Michelle surveyed everything, she suggested a heat pump, heating and air in one unit. Since we have solar panels, that made a lot of sense. The plan was adjusted a couple of times and we wound up with the air handler in the attic. Quiet! Very happy, and there are even some tax benefits to installing a heat pump.

Have used this company previously. They do a great job of heater and air conditioner maintenance. Affordable. Great loyalty program. Woman owned business. Wish they would expand their service area to include the Marina and the Westside they only service the South Bay.
Michelle sent out Edwin who would replace my thermostat for my heater here in old Torrance. Edwin did the diagnosis and then replaced the problem thermostat. And then let me know some maintenance tips that I was not aware of. He told me to let the air flow and not to close up all my vents like I was doing. And to replace my filter. Which I knew on the front , but the one up in the attic had not been replaced since the original install from before we bought the house. A very easy and pleasant experience.
I have used P & M Mechanical for years. They have completed new HVAC installations as well as ongoing maintanance. They do quality work at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend them.

Very competitively priced, love that they are a small business owner who prides themselves on excellent service. The installation crews are efficient and very courteous. The entire process is painless and they know what they are doing. Highly recommend!
P & M Mechanical installed my Air Conditioner last year. They were very professional and clean. Shoe Covers anytime they walked in the house, covered my hardwood floor so that it didn't get damaged during the installation and cleaned up completely when they were done. They also did my 1 year maintenance the year after and completely went though the heater and air conditioner to make sure that it was running properly including changing filters, vacuuming the unit completely and washing the condenser outside. I would highly recommend this company.
My HVAC system was installed by this company and I have never had any problems with the system. I have them maintain it each year. I have found them to be reliable, punctual and respectful. I can't imagine using anyone else. I highly recommend them.
