I am writing this review on behalf of my mother Carol who is a senior with heat. Golden-Aire was super responsive. Molly sent out someone that same afternoon. Chris who took the time to explain everything and replace the part. Heat was restored and price was very fair and reasonable. Would highly recommend.
In the middle of a scorching heat wave I called Golden Aire in Orangevale and left a voice mail at 8 PM. My AC was down. At 8 AM I got a call that a service man would be here by 10AM. And he was! A two hour inspection in my attic and out side required 2 diodes. AC back on blasting cold air at noon. Highly recommend.
Fantastic customer service om repairs and replacement
These people are awesome! Our A/C stopped working and Zak and then Chris came and they found the leak. They were very reasonable and didn't try to "upsell."
Honestly refreshing to deal with a company like Golden-Aire for an easy and timely A/C repair. My Air Conditioner went out and they were very responsive. They were able to squeeze me in between calls and quickly fixed the issue. I have dealt with HVAC companies locally in Folsom and Greater Sacramento for many hears both at my house and at commercial properties. Hands down the best experience I have ever had.
We have been dealing with Golden Aire for over 15 years and have always received very professional service at a fair price. This call was for a cooling system that stopped cooling, and we had a sick family member in our home. Had previously schedule routine maintenance for later in the month, but when they learned of our situation, they dispatched a tech immediately who showed up within the hour, diagnosed and repaired the unit without issue. Thanks for the great service !!
I've been using Golden Air for 10 years now. I own an older home in Orangevale with an older rooftop unit. They have been the best A/C and heating service company I have ever experienced. They have responded to my emergencies almost immediately and fortunately, they have been able to gladly repair my older unit quickly and reasonably and without a high-pressure sales pitch to install a new $15K unit. This company has always shown me competence, honesty and great concern for their customers. I highly recommend them.
We had our 3 year new a/c fail Friday just as the temps were heading into the 100s again. Called a few places, those who returned my call couldn't get to us until the following Monday (understandably). Goldenaire found a way to get to us, and had us fixed in a half hour! Had necessary parts in his truck and took time to answer my many questions. Knowledgeable, personable, professional, reasonable, and courteous. Highly recommend them. And a shout out to Molly on phones - also very knowledgeable and terrifically helpful!
Our experience with Golden Aire has always been positive and great service from everyone we have spoken to.
First place I called after they were referred by a plumbing contractor I know. Each person I talked to from the office staff to the installers were very friendly and professional. I felt not one bit that I was ever pushed to a sale or being hustled. The installers worked very quickly and I felt comfortable having them in the house because they were obviously good people. When they finished they had cleaned everything and my very quiet new air conditioner was working perfectly. I highly recommend Golden Air over Gilmore or Bonney. After talking to neighbors and friends I know I got a better price and found a trustworthy local shop.

Not enough can be said about the Golden Aire Team. They were timely and professional, completing the job when promised. Our house has never been so comfortable and the new equipment is so efficient! Pricing was very fair. I know because I got seven different bids before choosing Golden Aire. They were so good, that I referred my sister to Golden Aire and they were great for her too! Without any reservation, if you need HVAC work, give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

Golden Aire is one of the BEST contractor companies around! The owner "Eddie" is honest, hard-working, and came out to the house after I was told by Bonney Plumbing that my HVAC system was "dead" and had to be replaced to the tune of over $18,000.00! They actually told me not to turn on the thermostat because the whole system might "explode." I knew the Bonney Technician was lying to me so I called Golden Aire for a second opinion. Eddie said it appeared to be working fine except for a part that looked like it had been sabotaged and "left open" so he replaced that one part then cleaned everything and assured me it would last a few more years. I won't know for sure about that but it worked perfectly for MONTHS until I decided to sell the house and move to a retirement community. I'm SO thankful I was suspicious of Bonney Plumbing's "dead" diagnosis and $18,000.00+ quote, and got a second opinion from Golden Aire! EDIT: I just used Golden Aire Heating & Air Conditioning again today (12/28/2020) -- my heater stopped working last night. I listened to it try to come on but then turn off immediately and it kept doing that over and over so I finally shut off the system and emailed Golden Aire. To make sure I'd get in touch with them I also left a voice mail message since yesterday was Sunday. Not only was I scheduled today, only one day after leaving the messages, but Rick called and asked if he could come out sooner than the 12-3 p.m. window I was assigned so I said sure of course. I described the problem, Rick knew right away what he thought it was, then he proceeded to climb up into the attic to take care of the problem. 20 minutes later the heater was up and running and for just the service fee! If these guys ever close their doors I'm going to cry!!! I don't trust very many contractors but Golden Aire has proven themselves more than once so I will keep hiring them and I'm telling you, you should too!
Rick came over yesterday for a winter tuneup.He found a problem with our lower unit and fixed it promptly.Thank you for the service Rick.

I needed to get the HVAC unit checked he arrived on time very friendly polite and helpful he even pointed out to me that my gutter was full of leaves. I'm so grateful or I would have completely forgotten about it
I am truly impressed with this company and their crew. We had our HVAC system replaced as well as all the ducting, a new whole house fan and replaced a bad attic fan. I obtained 4 bids and Goldenaire offered the best overall value and great quality brand name equipment. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and communicative about all aspects of the job, a truly fantastic crew. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the efforts they took to contain the mess, this job created much debris. Our house was left as it was found, except for our new system and fans.:) I do and will recommend them without hesitation.
