My family has purchased 3 entire homes of windows and patio doors from California Energy Consultant Service, and I recommend them to friends because their products, prices and customer service are excellent from the initial consultation through installation and any questions or help we need later with anything. We found Gary easy to work with and appreciated his advice when choosing new windows, and the installers were professional and did great jobs every time. We have had a few minor issues over the years regarding wear and tear on our windows and screens, and CECS continues to provide excellent communication, service and customer support. Super nice people to work with.

Outstanding experience once again--this time for HVAC removal/replacement for my mother. We have used CECS 6 times over the last 10 years for 4 different properties (HVAC X 3, duct change/insulation X3, windows/sliders X4) and have had a consistently excellent experiences with all involved. This is distinctly unusual in today's market! Gary Lee is always professional, knowledgable and gives accurate estimates at the time of his visits. Joshua is amazing and should be recognized as such!! He has been the lead on our last 2 HVAC replacements. Most recently Mitch and Nick worked with him and were excellent as well. Jamie in the office is alway on point and follows up when she says she is going to. Kudos to all--our consistent experience and competitive pricing is why we keep coming back!
After quite a few years of avoiding replacing our windows and changing the siding (stucco) for the front of our house, we found CECS after researching local companies and reading a lot of online reviews. Dave Robson was great to work with, very responsive and answered our many questions about the project. The windows and stucco installation went very smoothly—the house looks new! Shout out to Miguel and stucco crew who did an amazing job on the siding, and Ishmael (aka Turbo) for all the extra care with the windows. Would recommend CECS to anyone looking at home improvement projects.
Gary came and did an amazing job to help me understand the situation of my windows issue eventhough I didn't get any repair service from them , they are amazing to help you with knowledge and information. I will reach out to them if I need to get help with my windows
This review is for Mike from CESC. Mike was the consultant assigned for the yearly tune up for my HVAC system installed by CESC. I was so lucky that mike could discover a huge problem of the unit which accumulated water in the drain Pan. Then he did the level adjustments and we waited for couple of weeks. Other than that, He could discover some problems in the mother boards and the fan motor electricity consumptions and he replaced them and made sure everything worked fine. Mike had to visit my system multiple times to get everything corrected and he did a very good job as well as kept me updated on everything in detail. I really appreciate his work as well as the CESC coordination. Thanks Mike and CESC
Mike fixed a minor, yet ongoing issue on our mini split exterior unit. He understood what I wanted done and exceeded my expectations with his kindness, skill and thorough completion of the task. Great job!

This review is for Jamie in the office and Josh and Mitch from California Energy Consultant Services. They provided excellent service and worked hard to get us ready for the heat. Mitch and Josh were on time, respectful, had good communication about the process and since I work from home, they worked with me and my work schedule. They introduced us to the new thermostat and showed us how the system works. They also worked around my dog and were friendly. I am grateful for their cooperation and understanding. The technician Mike serviced my ductless mini split HVAC system and provided excellent service. He was able to return the system to working order, let me know the right maintenance intervals and possible issues, and answer my questions while diagnosing the problem. I will be requesting him again for the next scheduled maintenance.
I had an issue that was 1/1,000 and left some water damage to the house. It took awhile for CECS and homeowners to work out the finances. When it was all said and done, the owner of CECS still came out, went over everything that happened and went above and beyond to make sure everything was squared away for us. We have had all the windows in our house, and sliding glass door replaced by CECS and would highly recommend them. For those wondering we went with the top end double pane and gas filled (I think it was argon?) Windows, and the immediate change in temp in the house was noticeable. Cooler in tje summer and warmer in the winter, they were a great upgrade.
Good Afternoon, Recently, I had the pleasure of working with California Energy Consultant Service to not only troubleshoot my AC system when it stopped blowing cold air, but also to upgrade my pre-existing ducting and insulation within my home. I must say, I have worked with many contractors over the years, and I have never been more impressed with the level of service, loyalty, professionalism, and quality of work. Everyone within the company treated me more as a friend or family member over just another customer. Not only did they get my AC back up and working extremely quickly during a heat-wave, but the Sales Associate Ben who I initially met with to discuss my concerns regarding my unit, was the most ethical person I have ever met. Ben knows the business from the ground up, and it was apparent. He was not quick to jump the gun and recommend I get a new unit (quite the contrary), he wanted to look into what they could do for me to stay within what I could afford (but also be realistic to find a trustworthy solution). Jamie who I dealt with from the administrative side of the house was extremely efficient, friendly, and down to earth when it came to discussing my billing and permitting questions. The folks who performed the work on my home were punctual and communicative when it came to letting me know that another job was running long, so they would get there as soon as humanly possible. I cannot say enough nice things regarding my experience with California Energy Consultant Service, and I would highly recommend you reach out to them if you are considering any work to be performed on your home regarding HVAC/Ducting, Etc. They are on SMUD’s list of approved contractors, and I will exclusively be using them for my HVAC needs in the future. Thank you all for making my experience such a positive one! Great team from sales to service. Contracted for 14 windows to be replaced due to seals broken and aluminum windows unable to open. Team was very professional, Gary was very informative and I'm glad it wasn't just sales talk. Installer Alonzo and Omar did the replacement and completed the work in a clean and professional manner while providing insights on the new windows.
Gary is putting new a sliding glass door in for me at my Glenwood east home. He , is a fellow cat lover, and has done work for many people in our community. I really appreciate Garys ' dedication to service and professional work. Thank you!
I had CECS recommended to me by my neighbor. They had all of their windows and doors done by CECS and they were very happy with the people, the product and the installation. I had Gary Lee from CECS come out to measure for a new door in my garage. He is a pleasure to speak with. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to explain everything to me about their product and the installation. The whole experience was seamless. My door was installed on schedule. The installers were very helpful and did a great job installing my door. I was so pleased with Gary, the installers, Ismar and Jose, that I had Gary Lee come back out to discuss doing all of my windows. He came out and discussed the windows appropriate for each room in my house. I was happy to hear that the window company, Simonton, has been in business for over 60 years and has a lifetime warranty covering the windows. I ordered 20 new windows and a beautiful French slider door that day. I feel so comfortable and confident with this company. They make customer satisfaction a priority. The communication with the entire staff was outstanding throughout the project. I love their honesty and integrity. I am so happy that I have found California Energy Consultant Service to do my replacement windows and doors.
