I moved into a new home and the air conditioning was not working at all. It turned out that there was a major leak in the American Standard evaporator coil. I tried to get my Home Warranty company to deal with the issue and they sent me several contractors who were very frustrating to deal with and claimed that they could not complete the job. That's when I got in touch with Phoenix. They were awesome. Not only did they take care of everything with the repair (which was pretty complicated because they needed to order a part from the factory), but they also helped me deal with the Home Warranty company. Holly and Sam communicated very clearly and professionally. I always felt like they were really on my side and wanted to get my issues fixed quickly with a high quality of work. The actual repairs went very smoothly. Tyler and Mike were both very professional. Everything is now working great and I was happy with the overall cost. I would definitely be happy to hire them again in the future.

About 3 years ago we needed relief from Summer heat and contacted Phoenix for a wall mounted mini split unit. I was concerned about how it would look in our small den and the noise level. The exterior unit was installed on a tile deck and had unobtrusive copper line that drained to the garden. Both are silent and efficient and the inside unit looks fine. Due to their professionalism and expert knowledge, we had another unit installed in our master last week. Sure beats a fan for great sleep! Again, superior safe installation. Surprisingly we use the Heat Feature for cool mornings. CALL Phoenix for a comfortable home.

I had my furnace serviced today. The technition detrmined the ignitor was burned out and that I had an issue with the electrical board. he indicated the board and the ignitor with labor would likely cost around $900. After looking at the board, he determined my last technician installed the board incorrectly which caused the ignitor to burn out. He replaced the ignitor and re-installed the board correctly for $200. I would recommend Phoenix South to anyone having HVAC issues. It is difficult to find Honesty, intergrity and quality technicians in the same place. Phoenix South has them all.
The office staff are very helpful & scheduled a tech to come out the same day I called. Mike the tech was very efficient, he found the problem quickly, explained exactly what was wrong & how much to fix it. We have an old ac unit but Mike didn't try to sell me an expensive new unit. Reasonable prices & courteous, efficient staff, a good company to do business with.
We called on a hot day in August 2015 when our 13 year old 3.5 ton residential American Standard air conditioner suddenly stopped blowing cooled air. Within the hour, a technician arrived, tested the unit, found the problem, explained the repair process in detail & installed the new part at a reasonable price. We were very impressed & grateful for the efficient & effective service by Phoenix South HAV.
