Chad at DC Air is fantastic! He completed a full new install of AC and Heater for us in July 2022. My review is late to posting, but I have more to add. We had an issue with a solar company that "accidentally" blew out our entire 8 month old heater system (which DC Air had installed). After waiting for 11 nights in the 40 degree nights with no heat for the solar company to fix, we finally decided to call Chad at DC Air to see if he could help us. It was the Thursday before Easter and we called him shortly before 5PM. He literally came THAT NIGHT! Checked it all out, told us what he saw had obviously happened (the solar company blew out the entire system due to the panel upgrade where they had obviously connected a 220V to the 110V heater, thus frying the boards of not only our heater, but our oven and our dishwasher). He said he'd hoped to come back the next day and (hoping) the heater company was open on Good Friday to get the necessary parts as he would need to drive to Buena Park to pick them up from South OC. He did come back that Friday (the Friday before Easter when so many people had already taken off for the day) and fixed the heater and we FINALLY after 12 COLD Southern CA nights had heat in our house! He also worked with us on the payment as he knew the solar company was responsible for the mishap, until he was paid directly by the solar company for their mistake. We obviously followed up repeatedly, but the solar company was slow to respond. He patiently waited for 21 days until I sent a 3rd follow up email to the solar company cc'ing Chad and they did finally respond by contacting DC Air with a credit card payment. I would definitely recommend Chad and DC Air for any and all of your HVAC needs!
Chad just left our house and all I can say is he's amazing. Did a great job on our furnace and he is the nicest guy. He will be the only person I call for furnace and air conditioning issues. Thank you Chad!!

I was told by the original installer of my A/C unit that I had a leak and was out of refrigerant. They pushed to sell me a replacement unit but settled for $2,800 to refill the refrigerant and repair the leak. I called DC's for a second opinion and Chad came out the next morning and found that it did not have a leak and had plenty of refrigerant. He said my unit runs great and I just needed a new thermostat which he replaced on the spot. He saved me thousands of dollars. We need more people like Chad in this world!
Chad is the best. He’s honest, efficient and he finds the best way (not the most expensive way) to get your system running. I didn’t want to have someone come out who was just gonna see my old unit as a sales opportunity, so I called Chad based on the reviews here. He diagnosed and fixed it quickly and even showed me how to maintain it to keep it running for years to come. As long as he’s available I won’t use anyone else.

Impressed doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about this company. We had a situation in which our AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year and on a holiday (Labor day). For most people this would be a very inconvenient and uncomfortable situation but for my family it’s more dire. My husband and I moved our fathers in with us over the past several years after our mothers passed away. This is the life of only children who love their parents! My dad has health conditions that make him very susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Additionally even just being slightly overheated can result in a dizzy spell and fainting. My father in law is a diabetic with severe neuropathy that is chronically painful and uncomfortable so adding the heat to it makes it dangerous. I have MS which makes me incredibly susceptible to the heat. As I’m sure you can imagine, I became very worried very quickly about our situation. I started my search and was having a hard time reaching anyone. Anyone I could reach wouldn’t be able to come into later in the week or said they’d get back to me but didn’t. I finally decided to post on next door about our situation and Chad, the incredible owner, replied and provided Me with Renee’s information- his right hand man. I called Renee who stated he’d be over in 10 minutes. He came over straight away and got to work. We discussed our very old system, what could have gone wrong and what the next steps were. Renee realized our contactor had been fried. He called Chad to see if Chad had one since Renee did not have one. CHAD CAME TO MY HOUSE WITH THE PART ON HIS DAY OFF. This seriously deserves all capitals. I didn’t think there were professional or business owners who would do this kind of stuff anymore and I’m pleased to say that Chad proved me wrong. We contacted Chad with DC's Heating and Air for a replacement to our noisy twenty five year old air conditioning system. The original system still worked but we could not sit on our back patio and have a conversation with the A/C running. After having four other quotes from different companies it was an easy decision to have Chad perform the installation. His knowledge, experience and great personality instilled confidence in our decision we would be working with a great company. Chad recommended a Bryant system he felt would work for us at a reasonable cost . Chad made arrangements for us to visit a client where he recently did an installation so we could experience the sound level. They had nothing but praise for his work but as quiet as the a/c was, we wanted it quieter for our location. We ended up having the top of the Bryant Evolution installed, and wow was it worth the expense. You can barley hear it run. Its like adding 500 square feet of usable space to your house. Chad and his crew did a fantastic job installing the system. When the city inspector finished his inspection he took pictures of the installation to show as an example to others how an installation should be done. Thanks so much Chad!
Chad was on time and extremely personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately replaced the faulty part. He is professional and honest. I am extremely pleased with his service and the quality and value of his work.
Chad the owner is such a nice person and an honest HVAC contractor, which is so valuable for our community residents. His company always installs great quality equipment and the installation work is done properly which makes our technician's job in enforcing CA's tough energy code regulations easier, knowing that quality work has been done when our technician goes onsite for required HERS testing of systems. Keep up the good work!
Long story short: My dad used these guys and raved about them even before we needed help after our A/C went down and could not be repaired......3 bids later (from local and reputable companies ranged from $23,000 to $44,000!). Totally insane!!! DC's Heating & Air is located 70 miles away so naturally I didn't think they could help. But after my dad raved about them I called and asked for an opinion about our bids, basically got a 4th second opinion :) Chad stepped up, told me I should not have to pay that much, was honest about the cost and in the end we paid barely HALF of the lowest bid - and got a better A/C unit. Installation was done in a day with the help of his professional hardworking associate Renee. Thanks guys, our house is cool as we want. You are appreciated.

Wow....wow....wow. I am left nearly speechless and incredibly impressed by Chad. With a newborn baby and with the nights a bit colder, I was very worried when all of a sudden our heating unit decided not to work. I reached out to someone who previously provided service on the heating unit but he was unresponsive. So I did some research on Nextdoor and saw that many, many people were absolutely ecstatic with their experience with Chad and DC's Heating and Air Conditioning. So I called Chad and he was extremely kind, responsive, and simply sincere over the phone. He came over quickly and diagnosed all of the items. We agreed he would get the parts to FIX my unit and be back the next day. Note: at no point did Chad try to sell me a new unit. In fact, he was very honest with his assessment and told me that a simply repair was in order. He quickly came back the next day and within a few hours, our heat was back in order and the family is absolutely happy. Our newborn gets to sleep in a heated room again and it's all due to Chad. I can't say enough about Chad's sincerity and his genuine desire to help his customers. He is very knowledgeable, very honest, and an excellent communicator. He does not try to sell you anything you don't need. In short, he's a breath of fresh air. Lastly, his prices are unbelievably competitive and will have you blown away. I recommend Chad 100% and have already saved his number in my phone for future use and I will undoubtedly be recommending him to anyone and everyone who needs HVAC, fridge, etc. repair and service. I contacted Ray about a Beverage Air kegerator issue I was having and that another waaaaay worse company had worked on previously. He talked to me for a half hour trying to understand the issue. He was laid up, so put me in contact with his associate Ray. I called Ray and he agreed to come out. In a few hours, this man reversed the damage done by the previous company, restored my kegerator, and gave me a better understanding of refrigeration. Do not call other people! If you are in their service area, use these guys!
Chad is the most honest, respectful, and experienced Heating/AC Tech I’ve ever met! He doesn’t up charge or up sale! He tells you what needs to be done and charges the most reasonable price! He also came out right away! You don’t find these qualities every day! Thank you Chad! Tom
Chad was on time, professional and very helpful. His fees are reasonable and while he was fast to diagnose the problem, he took his time to explain what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. This is the second time I have used his services, and I would recommend him with very high marks. It would be very hard to find someone else out there with his knowledge and honesty.
Chad was quick to respond and went out to my rental unit the same day. My tenants reported that they were very happy with the service and his professionalism. His fee was very reasonable and his reputation as an honest individual is well deserved. I have no reservation in recommending his service. He is now on my speed dial!
We had a great experience with DC's Heating and AC. Chad was responsive and comprehensive in diagnosing the problem with our furnace and did his best to find us a quality replacement part at a reasonable cost. It's obvious he really cares about his customers and is committed to providing them good service.
After NextGen air said I needed a whole new heater, Chad came out and inspected my Carrier heater and said us was completely fine, safe and still in warranty. Chad saved me the $10,000 I was told a new heat could cost. Thanks Chad!
