Capistrano Air

I returned home on a Saturday and was greeted by a heat wave and a hot house. I turned on the air conditioning and heard "pop!" followed by the smell of acrid smoke. Worse, there was no cool air. I called Capistrano Air and they were able to schedule an appointment for Wednesday. Luis arrived, and quickly diagnosed the problem as a blown transformer in my forced air unit. He then recognized that there was an electrical short somewhere in my system. He took the time to troubleshoot it thoroughly before diagnosing a problem with my old Nest Thermostat. The blown transformer and increased voltage likely overheated a component within. As an electrical engineer, Luis' explanation made sense to me. I did not feel like he was trying to exaggerate the problem in order to inflate the invoice. I said I would replace the thermostat on my own. And I did. Luis even cleaned out our condenser. All of that extra time and effort spent beyond replacing the transformer, and the total invoice was still under two hundred dollars. I cannot overstate how surprised and pleased I was with the quality of service I received from Capistrano Air. I recommend them without question.

Great job, again. They came out in 2 days (not bad for a holiday week) and were well within the time frame they gave us. The workers were friendly and had us up and running in no time, at a reasonable price.

Capo Air replaced my 20+ yr old furnace and 15 yr old AC -- very happy with work done! Chose Capo Air based on reviews - found reviews to be totally accurate ... entire staff are very professional and pleasant to deal with, answering all my questions. Caden & his install team were amazing ... did excellent job with both old equipment removal and new equipment install, as well as did thorough cleanup once done. Would highly recommend!!

Capo Air has been great to work with. They installed our AC unit 6 years ago and we were really happy. It recently stopped blowing cold air and they came out quickly. Ended up being a minor issue and fixed at the same time. The charge to handle it was very reasonable and we will definitely continue using them.

This company is the best A.c. and heating company by far in Orange County. We have used them on multiple occasions. They are honest and charge a fair price for there work. And have not even charged me on several occasions to fix minor issues. They are smart kind and fast. I have used several other companies that tried to rip me off. These guys are the opposite. Best company I have ever used by far.

These guys are very responsive and professional. They did a great job of diagnosing my problem and suggesting a plan to fix it. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone with an HVAC problem.

Matt in the office was great and scheduled a time to inspect my system and install a smart thermostat. Luis was on time and quickly installed the thermostat and did a quick review of our system (this was our first maintenace since buying the house). I am very picky about the people who service our HVAC systems and was impressed by Capistrano Air. Will be using them on a regular basis.

Capistrano Air came to give me a second opinion on my HVAC. they had it diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. The previous company took 2.5 hours just to tell me I needed more testing that they were going to charge me over $4000 for. I am very grateful I called Capistrano Air.

I called last night and left a message when the compressor on my A/C unit stopped working. I followed up this morning with Matt and he scheduled a technician for between 1pm and 5pm today. Given the heat wave in Southern California, i was ecstatic that Capistrano Air was able to accommodate my heat emergency the same day. The technician arrived promptly at 1:00pm. He was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and well trained. He agreed with my assessment of the problem and was able to fix it in 30 minutes. This is a company that will not only have my HVAC business but a company I will use for routine maintenance and will delighted to recommend to others. I already have recommended them to my next door neighbor who called a company 5 days ago to schedule an appointment that has yet to call back. This is a top notch organization and I have already told the technician that I will use them in the fall when I plan to replace my 14 year old compressor and coil.
