We've used Hembree twice now. Once for a new A/C install after a tree crushed our unit, and once when our thermostat went out. We've found them to be very friendly, clean, and fair.

We have had a less than one star experience with this company! We had Hembree install an ionizer into both of our AC units to help with our sons allergies which cost $1,900. We had to purchase a yearly plan with this deal. We never set up the first visit/service when the plan started in August 2022. Last week (February 2023) our upstairs unit quit working on Thursday so we called Hembree to come take a look at the unit. After setting up the service call the technician came out on Monday and told us he was unable to perform any services until we renewed our yearly plan. I called the office and the lady that I spoke with the previous Thursday said that was correct and that they wouldn't perform any service work until we renewed. Why didn't she tell me this when I spoke with her the previous Thursday? Why didn't someone mention this when they called the previous Friday to confirm my Monday appointment? Why didn't they mention this when they called that Monday morning to tell me what time they were coming? I refused to renew and then they agreed to give us one of the two service visits that we had paid for and keep us on their plan until August 2023. I don't understand their reasoning for forfeiting one of our paid service visits, because I'd think that you would have a year to use the two service visits that we paid for. In any event, the service technician then began to service the units and discovered that the blower motor in one of the units needed to be replaced and the expensive ionizer that they had installed had not been working properly. The technician showed us the fan housing and the broken motor that are covered with black mold(Isn't the ionizer supposed to keep this from happening?). The technician looked up the part that needed to be replaced and said it was in stock at the supply house and that they would be back Wednesday to fix the unit. He said that the office would call to schedule the repair visit, but they never did. I finally called on Wed
I called and got a same day estimate from Mr.Hembree. This company installed my home unit and they were so wonderful to work with!

After months of trying to get my regular AC company to return my calls, I decided reach out to Hembree Heating and Air. It was great not receiving a recorded message on my first and only call to Hembree. I was able to get an appointment for the next day and I must say - Al Boice was prompt, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. My initial call was just to get the drain pan under unit removed and replace plus get a quote on the installation of a UV light system. After speaking with Al for only a few minutes, I decided use Hembree for both installs. Two days after my initial call, my system is online with a brand new drip pan and a Platinum UV light system. Al did an awesome installation job, plus he corrected a ductwork issue that was created by another AC company. Additional he cleaned coil and box as well. The system looks great! You can’t go wrong with Hembree. Give them a call and make sure you ask them to send Al to service your system. Lamar
We have used Hembree for several years now. We have always been impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. Last week we had A/C services done at both our home and our rental. Our home was serviced by Al Boice and he was fantastic! My husband said he was amicable, professional, and knowledgeable. He was impressed by Al. Our rental was serviced by Andre Talley and he was awesome as well. While we didn't get to meet him, he was very helpful on the phone and did a great job with our tenants. We highly recommend Hembree. Ask for Al Boice on the Eastern Shore or Andre Talley in Mobile. You won't be disappointed.

Hembree installed a new unit and new ductwork for us earlier this year. Just had our first maintenance visit from Al and Austin and they were super professional and kind! They even showed up early for the service call, so I wasn't left waiting around all afternoon. Wonderful people and top notch customer service!

They originally installed my system and when I needed some attention to it, they took care of it in a professional and timely mannerl Technician Joshua Moody is an asset to Hembree....I can't say enough good things about his working to repair my A/C. He was professional in every aspect....answered all of my questions, was prompt, etc. If I ever need Hembree again, please send JOSH!
Confidence and Trust are key words in today’s culture. On short notice Reeves and Al came to our home recently and promptly corrected problems we had with our HVAC systems. Reeves even gave us tips on raising 🐓!
Matt, Jeremy, and Anthony went above and beyond excellent service. They were friendly, informative, and got everything working in a timely manner. They took time to go over the new system with me. This is the second time we have used Hembree and we are definitely going to continue future service with them. Top quality!
Everyone that I delt with at Hembree was so nice. From Josh who gave me the news that my A/C unit was DOA to the salesman Matt and to Chris and Collin that worked to get it installed for me. I will never call anyone else !
Hembree installed whole house dehumidifier for me. The whole process was fantastic. They treated me like I was their most important customer at each stage of the process. Jacob Hembree presented several options for us and gave us lots of info on our existing AC system. He was never pushy and listened carefully to what we needed. Colin and Walter did the installation. They were courteous and professional and did the job well. I would 100% recommend Hembree to everyone.
I desperately needed a new hvac system and Hembree did an amazing job! I had to finance it and it was so easy getting approved. The team showed up on time and did an amazing job. My new system works great and I’m beyond happy with everything from start to finish. Josh explained everything and I knew exactly what I was getting and how great the product is. During the quoting process for a complete replacement Heat Pump for my 15 year old system we reached out to Hembree Heating & Air Conditioning. They had been recommended to me from a neighbor. We scheduled a time to meet and discuss replacement options and quote the replacement system. Madison called the morning of the estimate and Josh Hembree called, as promised, one hour prior to the meeting time. Josh arrived on time and came prepared with all necessary information on a variety of systems available. We were searching for a reliable system with an excellent warranty. Josh offered an American Standard with an extended warranty through Hembree at a very fair and reasonable price. The quote was under our budget which allowed us to step up to a 16 SEER system. Overall, the quote for the 16 SEER system was less than any other quote we had received. Josh schedule an install date for the following week. Walt gave me a call on hour before the scheduled install. Walt and Colin arrived on time to conduct the install as promised. They were both very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The installation of the system was completed on time the day of starting the install. The entire system functions flawlessly and is so much cleaner and more professional performing than my old system. Josh Hembree and the entire Team at Hembree Heating & Air Conditioning are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The final price was exactly as quoted and we continue to enjoy our new American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning Heat Pump. I recommend Hembree Heating & Air Conditioning to all of my family, friends and will continue to use them for all of my future HVAC needs.
