Comfortable Design Inc. Heating & Cooling

I am a first time home buyer. I bought a relatively new home, thinking I wouldn't need to do a whole lot to maintain it. Then the bottom fell out... My A/C, my furnace AND my hot water tank all went out within a month or so of each other. I was not ready for this. Enter Mike with Comfortable Design. From the get-go, Mike was honest and pulled no punches, which I appreciated more than anything since I had never had to deal with these issues before. He was out the first day I called and gave me a more than fair assessment and estimate. After getting another estimate of nearly DOUBLE for the work that needed done, the choice was easy. Mark and Jonas showed up bright and early and got right to work only two days after I signed the paperwork to have the work done. I could not have asked for a better experience! I would recommend Comfortable Design to ANYONE 100 times over! Thank you guys SO MUCH! THE BEST!!!!

My name is Rick and I live in Lewisberry. Joe and Mike installed a new outside heating/cooling unit and inside furnace in my home towards the end of 2015. Despite a few manufacturing issues, like having to replace the new outside unit with another new one, they have stood by their word. Joe and Mike have always answered their phones and have always responded either same day or next day to fix any issue I have encountered. I have complete piece of mind because they have proved themselves over and over in their service. They truly make you feel like they care about you as a customer. I had a few estimates and they may not have been the cheapest but remember you get what you pay for and their service is unmatched.

These guys were PHENOMENAL!! I noticed my AC wasn't working around 1130AM this morning. I called and asked by chance if there was anybody who could possibly come over today as I'm leaving for a few days. She said we'll send someone over around 1:30PM. They pulled up at 1PM. They addressed the problem, had the replacement part on site and were able to fix it and have me back up and running within 15 minutes!! Prompt, polite, very knowledgeable and fair priced!! Thank you guys so much!! I've already saved you in my phone contacts!!!

Joe and Joe were excellent in all phases of our interactions. Responsible to questions and concerns and very punctual and reliable in dealing with any issues. If you need the services and products that they provide and do not consider them, you are doing yourself a disservice. Excellent in every way!

The property management company that handles my property dealt with an emergency loss if heat by finding me a contractor that wanted to charge me a RIDICULOUS amount of money for repairing the motor on my furnace. A small fortune! We called Mike at CDH and not only was his quote reasonable but he was at the house within a half hour to do a diagnostic and completed the job within 24 hours. He was kind, courteous, professional and fast. I am thrilled to have found him and fortunate to be able to trust that he'd get the job done. We live in NC and it's difficult to manage a property from so far away. I do not recommend the management company who I thought was protecting my interests as a homeowner (YPMG) but I highly recommend Mike Haney and Comfortable Design Heating & Co for your home heating issues.

A/C went out called this company, tech came out looked at unit and said your "blower motor is done". Asked him how much ? He looked at his phone for a couple minutes and said $900. Then he said let me call my office to make sure, and he comes back with a $600 quote. Told him I needed to speak to my wife. Called another outfit . Technician comes in with tools and meters ,turns out it's a capacitor, repaired it for $140. DO NOT CALL!!!!,!!, techs name was mike.

Some of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. They were always on time, communicated with us regarding what they were doing and worked very efficiently to get the job done. Highly recommend for all of your heating and cooling needs.

The most unprofessional company. Tried to take advantage of me. Came to my house and got my plans to make an estimate on the installation of a furnace I baught. Came back three days latter to give me my estimated bid, this is where the problem started. They never gave me a written bid. They told me my bid. Red flag number 1, when asked they said they will email me it. Never got that email. Red flag number 2. The last red flag was the price. They wanted 4800$ to install a furnace into an excisting unit. So basically run cold air line, a hot air line, a thermostat, and power. They wanted $1000 more than the cost of the unit. My furnace would of cost me $10,000. They gave me another estamite at the same time. Not written verbal also. It was for $5000 to replace my hot water heater. They expected me to give them a $9,000 job on a verbal estamite. This company is a scam. Do not do business with them. They talk a mean talk but they can't be in business for much longer. Be ware!
