I always assume that a company will try to rip me off and I was pleasantly surprised when I found one that didn’t even try too. The technician was friendly and informative. I asked questions and he answered everything I needed.

A shout out to Julie in Customer Service. She called me an hour before our scheduled service time to let me know that the tech who was doing our checkup was running ~an hour late. Sounds like a small thing, but in these days of flipping a coin to guess whether a service provider will show up at all, or even close to a scheduled time, this is awesome.

We have used Todd Peterson Heating and Cooling for years. They are always very responsive and helpful from the first phone call to the office, to the tech that comes to service our HVAC. Rob has been our tech in most cases, and is very easy to work with, and offers suggestions to keep things working properly and gets the job done! We have had other techs here, and they all have been great.

Most recently we had our HVAC not heating the house above around 60 degrees, and on a cold winter day not having heat was less than ideal. They were able to come out the same day, make the repair and complete a tune up.

Explanations are clear and easy to follow, pricing is clearly reviewed and fair. I feel that they treat our HVAC system as they would their own at their home.

I have been using their services since 2004 and have never had a problem with them. The tech who comes to service my furnace and AC unit is personable and efficient. I'd recommend Todd Peterson to anyone looking for a company to perform service on their heating and cooling units.

Todd Peterson is the best. We have the maintenance contract with them and they are always on top of when we need to have maintenance done on our air conditioner or heater. They are punctual and thorough. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had my air conditioner turning off, and with it the blower in the furnace. It would then turn the blower on and off rapidly, and make a loud banging noise.
Describing this to the technician that came out (Rob), at first he wasn't sure where to start. It was impossible for me to recreate the sound. So I recorded a video a few days earlier.
He tried a few things, asked a few questions. After that, he tried turning the blower on and off rapidly by jumping the power to it. There was the bang noise I would hear.
He suggested changing the thermostat from my Nest, back to the original that was installed with my new furnace/ac unit.
It cured my problem, and I use my old thermostat now.
Great technician, able to work with what he has, and that was my detailed as possible (but fairly vague) description of the problem. Within an hour, he had a suggestion, and had it fixed.

I had my first furnace and A/C installed over 30 years ago by TPHC. My A/C needed replaced 2 years ago, my furnace just needed replaced and there isn't anyone else in the Pittsburgh area I would dream of calling. Everyone I have ever dealt with at TPHC, from the receptionist to the installers and service team, as well as the owner, have always listened to me and treated me in the utmost professional manner.
