Just bought a house and had a leak in our basement bathroom. Called on a Thursday and Shelby had a plumber sent out first thing Friday morning, so we didn’t have to wait over the weekend with a leaky bathroom. Ian showed up first thing in the morning and was very professional. The work he did was top notch, clean and done in a timely manner. He made sure everything was 100% before he left. He cleaned up and left the bathroom better looking than when he arrived! Highly recommend Ian and the company.

I have had a leak in my basement for some time. It was discovered that it was coming from the kitchen sink. A handyman said that he could fix it and found that there was a clog that he attempted to remove with a snake. He removed the clog but was unable to remove the snake. So I called McVay Plumbing and tried my best to explain the situation. That very afternoon, Ian Simon came to my house and assessed the situation. He removed the snake in about 10 minutes and then replaced the pipe that allowed me to use my kitchen sink again. He explained how he could improve the drainage system so that the leaking problem would not come back. I was so very impressed with his expertise and ability to look at the big picture. I certainly will use McVay Plumbing in the future and will recommend them to my friends.

Kelsey was very helpful and saw the problem with my outdoor spigot immediately. Not only did she replace the busted pipe quickly and efficiently, she even went so far as to patch it further out from my house to make it easier to use, AND patched a small hole next to my electric line in, just because she saw it. 10/10 would recommend.

Recently, we had a complete sewer inspection done by Devin Twardy. This was the best experience I've had with a plumber from the Pittsburgh area. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and honest, all at a fair price. He accomplished the complete inspection while several other plumbers could not, for whatever reason. I would highly recommend McVay Plumbing, and we will be using them for future service.

I HIGHLY recommend McVay's services. When I called in a panic about my hot water tank flooding my basement, Patty was very kind and patient with me. She got me scheduled for a hot water tank removal and installation SAME-DAY! When Cody and Kevin arrived, they were extremely knowledgable and helpful with replacing my hot water tank. They not only explained the issues with my last tank, but were VERY TRANSPARENT with the costs and labor associated with replacing it before starting their work. I turned away 3 different companies for this job before meeting Cody and Kevin at McVay and I am so glad that I did. They were professional, courteous and I appreciate that they were very careful when removing my old tank and putting in the new one. Then they even took the time to explain the intricacies of my new tank and other parts associated. Thank you to McVay and specifically Cody, Kevin, and Patty. I will be using McVay for all of my future plumbing, heating and cooling needs.

McVay / Arendosh has been our vendor in the past for our furnace. Today they installed our first whole house air conditioning system. Chris and Dalton, our service technicians, were professional, friendly and thorough from the moment they arrived (which was on time). They reviewed what they were going to do, they asked if we had any questions.
Once the installation was completed and the unit charged, they explained some things to us about a whole house unit. We had several questions that they answered. They showed us how to use our existing thermostat properly now with both heating and air conditioning.
We highly recommend McVay / Arendosh for anyone with a heating or air conditioning need. They have always had excellent technicians and products.

Scheduling with McVay was very easy and I got a confirmation phone call the day before reminding me of my appointment. Mitchell W. was the plumber who helped me and he was great—gave me a heads up when he was on his way, quickly diagnosed the source of the leak, and looked at a couple other potential problem areas while he was here. Repairing the leak wasn’t as costly as I thought it would be and I appreciated the honesty and his not trying to upcharge me.
