Reading reviews like this led me to choose them, and I couldn't be happier! From the first point of contact til the job was done they've been consistent, friendly, customer focused and great with communications. Going forward, there's no one else I'd rather call! Their prices were fair, and I'm SO glad that I went with them first.

We have a geothermal system and it's been hard to find a good company to provide maintenance. K-Wood was recommended to us and we are so pleased with the service they provided! They are very reasonably priced as well! We will continue with this company for our ongoing maintenance.

We have used K-Wood for our family business for over 5 years now and today they came through for my wife and I by repairing our home AC unit. We use them for new equipment, repairs and maintenance. They are also a family run business and treat customers fairly and honestly plus they are incredibly responsive and capable! Big thanks to Mike and Jeremy for coming through for us today!

I called them in the very early morning hours. Received a call back before their listed start time. The technician was sent out earlier than the estimated ETA in case they needed to get a part, as it's a Friday. The technician was professional, and an all around good dude. We'll definitely be using this company again for repairs, and new installs when the time comes!

I was very pleased with my technician. He came out right after my basement was flooded to make sure my heating and A/C unit was working fine. Relit the pilot on the system and my water heater. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Thanks for the great (and fast) service!

Their service was outstanding. They came out to our house immediately after we called them. They were thorough, professional and effective and, most of all, very economical for what they did. I highly recommend their services.

We've used K-Wood to "upgrade" our HVAC system and service our company lab for years, mainly because the old building landlord insisted that we use them. The upgrade work was shoddy with very little thought and even the basic load balancing test other HVAC companies do was not done. Because of that the system is undersized for our heat load and we had to find another solution to redistribute the heat, which involved venting to the outside of the building. We put up with poor quality over the years - however our recent experience with them will finally be the last. They showed up only to finish half the job and never showed back up to finish. Since then it's been weeks - nobody at KWood answers the phone. Multiple messages were left. Nobody calls back. Needless to say, we won't be renewing our service contract with this company and will be better off for it. I highly recommend steering clear and going with someone else more professional.

Response to K-wood's comments:
1. We worked under a general contractor and YOU GAVE US THE BTU LOAD!

- we gave you our estimated BTU load because you had no idea how to figure it out on your own. We specifically said we needed extra ventilation for our air compressor in the lab which you completely neglected to consider, which was the cause of the heat overload in the end. After the fact, we immediately notified you that the compressor was causing a problem with heat, at which point you came back to add a tiny little duct from the split system over to the compressor as a band aid, which literally did nothing (like trying to put out a forest fire with a garden hose). Not too great. this is why we had to have a separate engineering firm come in who immediately realized the system was not the proper system for the space and we had to vent to the outside of the building... an extra $20k cost to fix that screw up.

2. Ductless units CANNOT BE AIR BALANCED!

- YOU recommended the ductless system and I (having no HVAC experience) disageed (as well as other contractors bidding), however the owner Gary acted like he knew best and that ductless was the way to go... despite other bids all coming in with ducted systems. We regretably went with you because the landlord insisted!

3. We did not finish because WE ARE WAITING FOR A PART TO COME IN. We have now canceled that order.

- good, we'll be glad to be rid of you, finally. Now that we have a new landlord we'll be sure to give them our feedback on this for when they consider service for the whole building (another huge debacle with you when in the summer half the building AC goes out year after year and everyone has to put fans all over the office space).

4. According to our PHONE LOG, YOU NEVER CALLED! We have attempted to call you, but YOU DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

- I have to call total BS on this one. Kwood is flat out lying. I personally called KWood at least 5 maybe even 10 times over a period of 3 weeks. I left my name, location, description of problem and cell number on their answering machine (humans stopped answering over there). NEVER a call back. NEVER even a message. Sorry Kwood, you are lying about that.

5. We take great pride in providing quality service to our customers.

- Believe what you want, I wouldn't be proud about this and the response from you is pathetic, defensive, and reeks of poor service. If you actually did care about your customers you would pick up the phone and try to right the wrongs. GOOD LUCK in the future... hopefully you can learn from this.

Very professional. Excellent service- and very knowledgeable. This company reminds me of years gone by when people took pride in their field. So happy to have found such a company today- especially in HVAC. I trust them.

I would highly recommend this company; the technician was courteous on time and efficient. He answered all my questions and even showed me how to use a new heating system. Straightforward pricing and excellent service. Customer for life!!

All I can say about this company they are honest, dependable and efficient. From Mike in the office to Jeremery the technician, who is thorough and meticulous. It’s a company you always hope to get, but seldom do . Highly Recommend
