Kowalski Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing

I really enjoyed everything about my experience with Kowalski. They truly are the neighborhood guy next door company that can service your heating and cooling issues/problems and answer your questions. I called on a Sunday, left a message and within the hour, Jason was calling me back and helping me figure out a solution. It’s really wonderful to find a company in 2020 that will come out and help you even on their day off and then provide a solid solution. After both of our 20+ year-old AC units failed this summer, Jason Kowalski first impressed us with a thorough review of the installed systems and then surprised us by suggesting a smaller, less expensive compressor for the addition portion of our home. He pointed out that over-built systems tended to wear out faster due to constant cycling and are less efficient to run. He also showed us that the installers of our new furnace (last year) undercut the housing of the associated existing evaporator coil at right angles by about 30%, so even more inefficient. Jason also determined that he could get one of the end-of-life units back on line by replacing the start capacitor, which he did even though I’m sure he realized this would decrease the desperation of our current situation and likelihood of a snap decision. Confidence! He then patiently answered a number of emails with questions about the quoted systems SEER ratings and other items, all of which agreed with the HVAC expert blogs that I researched later.

Jason's lead installer, Mike, was friendly and efficient, but thoughtful. During the installation of the second unit, Mike found that the exhaust for the furnace was rusted through beyond the entrance to the chimney (clearly not an AC installation issue). He replaced the run, for which he had to make an additional trip for supplies, at no additional charge. Of course, this is not to suggest that you should expect free work and material for unforeseeable issues, but to point out that their focus is on quality installations throughout their organization. All in all I couldn't be happier with my experience, not to mention that the final quote was $2000+ cheaper than the other two we received! I only wish we knew about them when we replaced our furnaces.

Top notch service. I've dealt with my fair share of contractors in the past few years but none have been the same level as Kowalski Heating and Cooling. They were able to fix my old furnace very fast and were very fair on the pricing. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of service.

First time customer. AC blower motor was inoperative. Our technician Steve, showed on time, assessed and repaired our AC system. Steve then gave the operating system a health check to include hi/low/ suction pressure readings and more.

They completed services in a timely manner. We got a quote Thursday and had both a/c and furnace installed the following week. Zach and Brett did a fantastic job.

I found out on the hottest day of the year that my AC was no longer working. Amy in the office shuffled things around to get a tech to my house within hours, not days. Brett showed up and was fast, professional and friendly. I've hired enough contractors to know that service like that is almost impossible to find. Thank you so much.

Just got a new a/c and furnace installed. Steve and Mike did a great job. They installed it in a timely manner. Checked to make sure everything was running properly before leaving and they also cleaned up after themselves. They left the area as clean as it was when they arrived.
Everything is working great. My husband and I appreciated their professionalism.

Huge thank you to Kowalski Heating Cooling Plumbing for going out of their way to not only get our furnace replaced in a hurry, but to do the job right. Jason Kowalski said several times while here to prepare the details of the job "I can't leave it like this." The company who installed the previous unit in our home under the home warranty back in 2011 did a very poor job, and it looked very untidy. The result today is that we had a warm home last night, and my eyes no longer hurt when looking at our furnace. He was true to his word. And to boot, they ran some new duct-work to improve air-flow to the room in our home that was the least well supplied. That room seems to be far more comfortable than it was.
The guys who did the work were professional, easy going, and very thorough with the work they did. I've never felt strongly about recommending an HVAC company before, but I do now. If you need any work done, reach out to them.
And - those who know me know that my opinions are not bought, but that I'm a rather opinionated person. I finally found an HVAC company about which to be positively opinionated. 🙂

I've worked in the field service industry for over forty years and know what it takes to succeed. Jason and hs crew were informative, timely and extremely professional, during their recent installation at my home. Attention to detail wss also a key factor.

I had seen their work before at a business location and did not hesitate to call them when I needed a new heating and cooling system. The whole process, from estimate to install took less than two weeks and pricing was competitive with the current market.
