Ranck Plumbing, Heating, AC & Excavation

We returned to Ranck after becoming totally dissatisfied with our current company. They would spend 10 minutes inspecting and 30 minutes trying to sell us something everytime they showed up. Ranck, Vaughn, showed up and immediately started. He spent ample time cleaning and inspecting our heating system then gave us the good news that everything was in great shape and no action needed. Ranck was very responsive, the maintenance agreement comprehensive and Vaughn was very thorough and professional with a great personality. Extremely glad we came back and looking forward to our spring maintenance for air. we would welcome Vaughn back anytime!

10/20/22...2nd furnace maintenance, this time it was Joel. Yet another complete, thorough going over. even offerred a tip on saving wear and tear on our thermal coupler. Super satisfied, good for another year!

We have used Ranck for both our HVAC and plumbing needs. We would never go anywhere else. They are reliable, will bend over backwards to accommodate our needs, courteous, I can go on and on! Now all they need is to add electrical to their services and it would be one-stop shopping!

Nick, like all the technicians and professionals at Ranck was pleasant and on time, knowledgeable, and able to quickly assess the situation, address overflow of water quickly, and ultimately fix the problem in less than one hour. Could not be more pleased with Ranck or Nick's performance. Ranck performs all functions for us!

I'm not a big fan of complaining publicly, but we have a relatively large job that needs to be done, and we had heard great things about Ranck. They came out quickly to look at the issue, write it up, and get a quote ready. Then we got a call that someone else needs to come out to do the estimate. They came out, as scheduled, and seemed great. Told us we would get the quote that afternoon because the job was urgent. Nothing that day. The next day. Or the next day. And when I called to check on the estimate I was told that the ONE person that does the estimates is away yesterday and today, and they can't find it if it was done.

I understand miscommunication. What I don't understand is that not once was there even an attempt to get it done today, apologize, or look for a way to make us a customer. Based on that, I can't imagine I will try them again.

The technician was not familiar with my hvac system and couldn’t answer any of my questions. He walked around spraying a blue liquid from a plastic spray bottle until I asked him to leave. I was charged $90 for this experience. Their office offered to send someone else out but I didn’t want to commit to paying for another experience like this one. I called Brubaker, found out that the previous homeowner had a service contract and the unit had already been serviced in May. You would think that this company’s technician would recognize that the unit was serviced two months before. Oh well, you learn by your experiences and I moved on to Brubaker instead.
