Precision Heating & Indoor Air Quality

Today at 9am we were at the Fred Meyer gas station and listened to this older man berate the female and older gentleman station attendants all because they asked him to turn his vehicle around. It was deplorable. Then he proceeded to speak very loudly, complaining about them to his colleague.
They were only doing their job and you acted like an entitled child. Based on how you treat people when you think no one is looking, we would never use your business.

Looking at the reviews on this business, I was a bit concerned about having "Precision" do a major Solar Installation and furnace upgrade for us but they are the only Solar option in our area. Our initial interview went well. Local utility personnel are familiar with Stan and his work and gave a "thumbs up". We contracted in two phases, the first to "reduce our load" by replacing an aged heat pump and adding a minisplit so that my wife could have separate control in the bedroom. Then we replaced two electric water heaters with one hybrid on his recommendation. Our electric bills plummeted. This was all done quickly and professionally as determined by availability of parts. Prices were reasonable and as problems were encountered he showed a willingness to share some costs. ... While the first phase was going on, Stan worked with me to design our solar power system. We settled on a ground-mounted array of 30 panels on net with distributed inverters. This is not the type of system they usually do but Stan showed great flexibility and willingness to work with me. Once we had a design, I sent it to a group of solar folks who did a previous system for us in another area. They reviewed the specs and replied "Looks good!" ... It took a long time to get the system up and operational, mostly because of permitting and inspection issues associated with our ground-mounted option. (If we had gone to a roof mounted system, permitting would have been faster but there would have been other types of problems.) Now, it's up and going, the meter is "spinning backwards" and I'm a satisfied customer. ... Stan can be a bit quirky, but so am I. I found that he answers texts more regularly than phone calls. His guys are courteous and friendly and Jacks of all trades. They leave the jobsite in decent order. ... It was a big, complex, expensive project (even with the considerable price reduction we were given) but in the end, I'm glad to have had it done by Precision Heating & Solar.

Stan put in my heat pump, new furnace, heat pump water heater and 32 solar panels. Everything he did runs like a well oiled machine. We've had some small adjustments to be made and Stan was right here that same day, took care of it and called the next day to make sure it running smoothly (which it was). He has checked back time and time again to make sure everything is ok.
Stan's company is the only one I would have work on my heating, cooling and solar system.
I recommend him 100%.
He's been working on my systems since the 1980s and he will do an excellent job for you just like he's done for me.

We have had precision heating install a new furnace a few years ago and this year they installed air-conditioning and cleaned and replaced the air returns on my two furnaces. They did a great job, came on time and did all they said they would. We would certainly work with them in the future.

I can't say enough about Stan and his company. We called for a new furnace, and was invited to entertain the idea of solar panels. I've always wanted solar panels, but considered it a pipe dream. Stan made it absolutely possible for me to have them. I appreciate them so much, they've made everything so wonderful in my house, always showed up when they said, called me with any schedule changes, and in general very professional and super nice and communicative. Would absolutely recommend to anyone if they are weary about solar panels or anything heating, cooling, water heaters, etc.

We purchased a heat pump system from Precision Heating. Also, we received a high efficiency air filter and a digital thermostat . Stan said that it would reduce our electric bills and we would have really good air quality. How does it work? Really great! We are really happy with the performance of not only the equipment, but their service.

They are some of the most professional and trustworthy people we've encountered. They installed when they said they would and for the price that they quoted. They never left a mess. it was like they were never here. It was a pleasure having them install their products. We have had zero issues and they have checked up on us in the years since with changing our filters and making sure we were still comfortable.

The air is clean and our electric bills are very reasonable, even during winter months. Everything they promised, they delivered. We are very satisfied and would recommend them to our friends.

They are also recommended a Solar system. I'll definitely be going with them when we decide to go even greener!

Precision replaced our heating system along with all of our duct work. They have up to date knowledge and equipment in testing for mold within a home. They also installed a clean air purifying system which helped with our allergies. The best decision we ever made. We did receive lower bids, but Precision Heating and Air Cooling were very competitive, and we also believe in "you get what you pay for". Precision has been in business and serving our community for over 30 years and that says a lot, especially in a small community. We are very happy and pleased with their work!

Precision Heating has serviced our heating system for over two years. Early this month our heat pump began to fail and Precision was on the spot for analysis. They installed a new heat pump, rebuilt our furnace (rather than replacing it), and offered us the option of solar heat. We decided that solar is the way to go into the future and they installed panels that would give us a hint as to the benefits of totally renewable energy. If you're seeking an honest appraisal of your needs and, especially quality workmanship, then Precision Heating is the one to call.

I moved to this area last year and the winter was very cold in my house due to insufficient heating being available. The home was built as second home for use during the summer and only had an in-wall cadet heater for the living room, kitchen, dining area and hall.
I called Precision Heating and made an appointment. Stan came to my home and discussed the installation of a heat pump (mini split). Sounded like what I was looking for to heat my home. I mentioned that I had seen solar panels on his website and inquired about them. My house has a lot of sun on the front. I ended up getting the mini-split and the solar panels. Now into November and the colder weather my house is snug and warm. The mini-split blow down the hallway and even warms my bedroom. I only have to run it for a few hours in the morning and evening to keep the house warm.
On a different note, due to there not being a lot of sum, the solar panels aren't producing very much, which I was told would happen. But on sunny days the wheel in the meter spins like crazy. Can't wait until summer to see their full potential.
I'm glad that I called Precision Heating, they did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for heating or solar.

I had precision come out to replace the crossover pipe to my duct system. After about a day they informed me (after giving me a figure to do the work prior to starting) that they were about 20 feet short as there were 2 cross over pipes to contend with and it would cost an additional $275.00. After some lengthy conversations with the owner I agreed to the additional work very hesitantly. They returned and were finished in 2 hours and left. I turned on the furnace and noted in now had no air coming out in 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. I called again and the owner said he knew what the problem was and would repair it in good working order!

I waited and waited for weeks and no one showed up, I called again and spoke with the lady who answers the phone and she said she would inform the owner. Well this happened several more times and to this day NOT ONE PEEP from them and still no resolution, it must be close to a year now!

This is the same company who charged me $160.00 for a retail exact thermostat, complete with same model number that sells for $16.95 all day long in Home Depot. When broached with my concerns the owner smugly replied "we buy our thermostats from other sources"? REALLY NOW!

Be aware and careful when dealing with this company, not a good experience, a distinct gouging feeling was experienced?
