Great company. Scott was a pleasure to work with from the bid to the installation. Their quote was very competitive, and they did not pressure me to upsell or overpay. I'd highly recommend them for any gas furnace work, especially if going from oil to gas.

Scott and his crew did a wonderful job.

They are a great value. They was on time and did what he said they would do.

They stand behind their work as well.

We highly recommend them!

Scott and his team were a pleasure to work with. Great bid and job was done quickly and professionally. Couldn’t be happier!

We couldn't be happier with Scott and his team. Estimate was right on point with the final bill, the team was great and incredibly fast, and we are really happy with the AC and new furnace install. We found their pricing to be nearly 30% or more below most places, and Scott never once tried to up-sell or BS us at any point, and instead was just super honest, professional, and straight to the point of getting us the best products for our needs. We would absolutely recommend them to anybody looking to upgrade or service their heating or AC systems.

My furnace went out last year and after many quotes. Scott came out and gave me the best price for the same thing and I had him install my furnace. Very happy with his work and his crew amazing guys. This summer my AC went out and Scott was able to fit me in and replace it a day before the horrible smoke. Anything goes wrong with it Scott stands behind his work, definitely recommend Budget Heating! Thank you guys. Also his partner fixed my sons toy car đźš— when he was here for a service call.. so sweet!...Maria Sanchez Portland

Cautious Woman

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Scott and his crew. I needed a gas line extended to my kitchen and central A/C added. He gave me the best quote, but I didn't see good reviews on the unit he quoted me on, so I searched until I found what I thought would be comparable and he was fine with giving me that unit. Let me be clear, I don't think he was trying to sell me a poor quality unit. I am a BIG reviews person and I know that most people only post bad reviews, but I'm a single woman and I needed to feel like I'd done my due diligence in getting the unit with the happiest customers. I started this process in January, but wasn't really ready (because of kitchen remodel) until April. He was very flexible about working within my schedule and everything works great! Both items passed the county inspection and I'm cooking with gas and staying cool. I found him and his crew to be friendly, courteous, and I think Scott, in particular, went above and beyond for me. Thank you Budget Heating and Cooling!

Many years of Great Service from Budget Heating for our Rental House in NE Portland. We have referred many of our Real Estate Clients and Scott has always provided Prompt and Excellent service. Last month in the freezing weather we needed a service call. They arrived in less than an hour. And when the furnace did not work a second day.. they were there that morning and fixed the problem for good. The price is always reasonable. Which is why we use and refer them. I am scared to imagine what other companies might charge when the heat is off and it is freezing cold.

I was completely ripped off by a competing company who charged me $544 just to run diagnostics. They were wanting to charge me at least $2800 to fix it and they told me I might as well replace my unit.

I called Budget based on a dear friend’s referral, and they came over and fixed the unit in a couple hours. They let me know my unit was working great & I didn’t actually need the repair the other company was saying I needed. They literally saved me thousands of dollars. My repair with Budget cost $235.

As a single woman and new home owner, I am so grateful for the integrity and kindness this company has shown. You have a forever customer in me.

Our heat pump with electric backup died for the 3rd time so we decided to convert to gas. We got several quotes from NWNG approved suppliers (they are one). Budget was about 10% under their competitors and seemed to me to be the most knowledgeable. They handled all of the permitting, electrical subcontractor, etc. Our home had no gas service to the house, but it was available in the street. Their 3-man team got the job done in one day and even upgraded to the 4" thick air filter I wanted, but forgot to ask for. The equipment is Rheem and we went with the 96% efficiency furnace which I strongly recommend.

These guys suck. They don't know what they are doing.

We had them install two AC units at our house.

They told us we needed 2, 4 ton units.

They charged us for two 4 ton units and instead sold us a 4 ton and a 3 ton in a 4 ton shell.

After the install, they continually iced up, but eventually, they figured it out.

The AC never worked that great, but we just figured it was because we had a ton of south facing windows and a big house.

We ended up hiring someone else to work on our furnace and they found a TON of problems (like installing a different unit than they charged us for).

They also routed the 4 ton unit to the basement and main floor, which had by far the least need for AC, and routed the 3 ton unit to the top two floors of the house, where AC was needed most.

We should have know that they were the lowest bidder for a reason and once again, the lowest bidder ending up costing more.

These guys suck more than Ben Affleck in Pearl Harbor.
