Last winter we contacted several designers and contractors about remodeling our entire house in Bend. Chad Terry of Neil Kelly responded and was receptive to our project and time line. He took the time to get to know us and understand our likes and dislikes. He provided a detailed cost estimate and developed a design within our budget. He handled the project professionally by developing a complete set of construction prints and a thorough book of material specifications.

Chad is knowledgeable about different home styles, current construction practices and current design materials. Chad was readily available for any kind of consultation from discussions on removing walls to the color of bathroom tile and type of faucets. He spent hours taking us to the different shops to pick out the materials and helped us make final decisions when asked. He is easy to work with, maintains a high level of professionalism and has been proficient from the start to the end of our project. During construction, he continued to work closely with us to ensure all the details were completed to our satisfaction.

A very disappointing experience. I approached NK in March 2022 about a small bathroom remodel with a budget of $25K. Initial response was slow with phone calls ultimately resulting in a face-to-face meeting with a designer. Without even seeing the space, quotes were offered with no well-defined scope of work. At the initial consultation, a "retainer" of $1,500 was requested with no receipt or terms and conditions provided. As the project (slowly) came into focus, it was clear that NK had a limited range of remodel options available. I reduced the scope of work which resulted in the designer handing off the remaining components to another division, after three months of delays. The transition to another employee was slow. I finally got a one page scope of work with a clearly inflated price tag and an estimate for completion sometime in (maybe) September. Remember, I started the process in March. It was becoming clear that they didn't want the work, so I terminated the project and ask for the retainer to be returned. That was a slow process, too. They withheld over $400 for services related to developing the quote, activities that are normally a cost of doing business. I can't recommend them based on their poor, sluggish performance with my project.

Chad Terry was our design specialist for the kitchen remodel project. Chad was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted & came up with an amazing design. His assistance in selecting cabinetry, countertops and fixtures was very insightful, and greatly appreciated. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. Jim Stowers was great to work with. He responded to our initial inquiry quickly. He was responsive to our questions and I never felt like he was trying to pressure us into additional services. He made sure the job site was cleaned up every day after he and his crew were finished and communicated with us on a regular basis. He even coordinated with an outside electrician to make sure work was integrated seamlessly. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and everything was completed within the stated timeline. I would absolutely have him do additional work, if needed, in the future.

Chad Terry was great to work with. He helped us remodel our master bath and listened to us when we told him what we wanted and how we wanted it to look. He also offered great suggestions that made the whole process very easy. The whole team at Neil Kelly were wonderful to work with. The job was started and completed on time and it looks beautiful.

The best of Neil Kelly with our kitchen renovation was John Knauss, the Handy Man Contractor who designed, guided our decisions, orchestrated the subcontractors, tended to detail and ultimately made sure we were happy with our finished kitchen. John knows his stuff with Granite, and works well with the fabricators. He is well respected by the Electricians and Plumbers. The Cabinet refinisher and cabinet makers all respect him. As a result John provide us an incredible, beautiful kitchen that is very fun to cook in. And he is just a very nice person. We plan to have John help us with the two bathrooms that will need an update soon. Thanks John.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul Haigh at Neil Kelly to completely remodel my kitchen. The process with Paul was organized, effortless and efficient. He was very responsive when we had questions or concerns and did a wonderful job listening to exactly what we wanted to achieve and providing options for us to consider to get the precise look we wanted. The design process was the perfect balance allowing us enough time to make thoughtful decisions but at the same time, keeping the process moving forward. Paul and the Neil Kelly team are dedicated to keeping their clients satisfied not only during the design and construction phases, but even after the renovation is complete. Neil Kelly was recommended to us and we couldn't have been more pleased with their service. John was amazing at getting all our different needs taken care of in a timely manner. Marc did an outstanding job drywalling. No matter who worked in our house, they were polite, cheerful and professional.

We hired Neil Kelly Company to add a sunroom onto the front of our house. After meeting with Chad, we had a plan. Work started several weeks later and in very little time, the project was done. To cut costs, we opted to do the painting, flooring and electrical ourselves.

All of the contractors did great work, plus they were friendly and answered any questions we had. The work flow was well coordinated and went smoothly.

We had wanted a sunroom for years, and thanks to Neil Kelly Company, we have one.
I highly recommend this company if you need an addition done quickly and correctly.

When we moved to Bend we were excited to see that Neil Kelly was an option for a large remodel. We had several friends in Portland who had great experiences with them and working with the Bend brach has been equal in quality and professionalism.
