Wortman Central Air

After an extensive Internet search for a reliable and honest HVAC service provider, and after talking with multiple friends and neighbors, I opted to try Wortman Central Air about three years ago. Simply put, I have been VERY HAPPY with their service, their expertise, and fair prices. What other people I know and the Internet reviews said about Wortman Central Air is exactly what I have experienced. My discussions with the service technician (Amhad is my favorite technician, hands down) and the office staff are always matter-of-fact and straightforward, none of this verbally twisting my arm to sell me something I don't need. The staff and service technicians at Wortman -- certainly all of the ones I have dealt with -- take great pride in their local reputation of being honest and fair. Isn't that a refreshing attitude in this day? After ten years of being in a new home, the old builder-grade Carrier unit finally died today and although it can be repaired, I opted to replace the whole system with a new one recommended by Virgina at Wortman's office. (She is VERY knowledgeable.) It will be installed this weekend and if past experience is any indication, I have no concerns that the installation will be done correctly. I will try to remember to update this review after the installation. But mostly I hope that those of you who consider my comments find them useful. I can only share the experiences I've had but based on those experiences I would solidly recommend Wortman Air Conditioning if you need such service. They are good people performing expert services at a fair price. What more can anyone ask for?

Outstanding service in all respects! Replaced all the ductwork in our house. Good pricing, very knowledgeable and friendly workmen, excellent job, worked with us on job changes, very neat at job site, arrived each day on time, kept us informed about what was needed and progress throughout project, and we always felt confident that they had our best interests at heart. This is my first time using Wortman for air conditioning issues. They were able to come out in the afternoon and correct the issue quickly. I was so impressed with David's, tech, knowledge and willingness to explain that I joined their maintenance agreement program.

Mr. Sellman was here this morning to check my furnaces for the season. When he arrived he introduced himself and gave me two new filters. However, I had already replaced my filters the end of Oct. He checked both of my furnaces and checked the carbon dioxide. He was very efficient. Very nice employee and felt confident in him.

I started using Wortman several years ago when they were able to fix my aging heat pump on a very hot summer day. Last year I decided it was finally time to replace it and my gas furnace. They did a great job. and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I'm enjoying lower utilities and I didn't have to wonder if my AC would work this spring.

Don't know if my message came through earlier. Benji was most helpful to me in understanding how to balance two zones of heat and air. He is very knowledgeable and reprogrammed our thermostats to meet our need for simplicity - aging brains need to keep technology simple and useful! I hope he will be able to return this winter to do the maintenance check!

Wortman Heating and Air works like businesses are supposed to. Called up, a pleasant person answers, submits the order /complaint and they're calling back quickly. He was out within 2.5 hours. Told Benji what was happening and he went right to the problem. This was on a Memorial day weekend. Makes me glad I bought my new home heating and air from Wortman.

We had a great installation process and love our new air conditioning systems. The installers were professional, detail-oriented and respectful of our home, pets and children. Would highly recommend Wortman Central Air!

Always had great service from Wortman. When they replaced my system a few years ago, they arrived ahead of schedule, completed ahead of schedule, and there wasn't a stray piece of anything outside or inside when they left. Had a repair scheduled recently, and everything went great this time too.

Wortmans installed our new HVAC system six years ago and it has run flawlessly ever since...well, until the dog chewed off the lines connecting the system . On a very hot Friday evening (Memorial day weekend no less) a technician came to our home within two hours and had us back in the Cool!
