Unfortunate choice of professionals. Last winter our heater started to not work properly so I called the contractor that we have used for the past 14 years. His company was absorbed by American. We had a service call on 12/07 and they "suggested changing the unit", then we had another call on 12/28 and they re-set (code for hit the sequencer with the butt of a screwdriver). Besides the "re-set" and the "suggestion" they also took a couple of cell phone pictures and later the guy called me and informed me that the part, because it was old, would cost $700. My system is old, but it was tiring having four different people talk to us about financing a $6000 unit. We paid a $125 service call fee and then recently received a notice from a collection agency about another $125 charge. I guess that’s the going rate for talking, taking a picture and hitting with a screwdriver. We’ve paid $125 to them, now we’re going to pay $125 to a collection agency and thank goodness we will be able to go through someone else to get a new unit. To their credit the office staff was nice and she did mention that the people I was dealing with no longer work for them; however their prices are still outrageous. I did a quick google search and found 2 companies out of OKC that could be here tomorrow and only charge $89 and $99 for a service call. American is just over priced and unrealistic, I know they just wanted to sell us a new system, so I guess I am only out $250 instead of $6000. I guess I now know that I can get more cost effective service out of OKC… I should have read further down this Google review page.

Great experience with this company servicing my AC. They were on time and did fast professional work. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the service with a fair price. I trust these guys and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!

Very disappointed and shocked! Have used Anerican air since they opened. Called for service 4 or 5 times, got no return call. It's bad enough they did not call me to say they did not want to do business with me any longer....but then they knocked on my door to tell me that their tech got a tick on him under my deck and they were no longer interested in selling me a new unit or making repairs on my other. A tick, outside, at the height of tick season in Oklahoma. Maybe next time you can quit servicing people because you got sweaty or dirt under your nails. Your loss, I'll send my $10,000 elsewhere. Loyal customer who now instead of making referrals, will be panning your business to any one who will listen. Good job.

They were able to get me in the next day and were prompt (showed at 1:05 for a 1:00 apt, but that's better than most!). Quickly identified AC issue. Fixed in about 20 mins. Only complaint is that those 20 mins cost me $95 in labor! Yikes!

Professional, went above and beyond to get our heater repaired.

Called at 7:45 this morning (Sat) and they were here and had our A.C. back up and running before 1:00.
