    They came out and claimed a fire in my unit was not caused by regular unit degradation even though it was a unit from 1989, and they also did so without much investigation. This caused my home warranty not to cover the cost. They also said they would get me a quote for a "good deal since my warranty didn't come through" by the next morning and we are now multiple days removed and no quote. I would not recommend.

    My hot water heater was leaking and my home warranty choose them to help me! LET ME TELL YOU! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! Kept me updated on the status and help me get hot water again for me and my 5 babies in a very fast time! Thank you guys!

    Update on 7 Aug. Today the front office informed me that they were instructed to not provide me the report, or invoice for the service made to my private property that I own free and clear. Their reasoning was that I “wrote a bad review and was being hostile.” I have not even got a receipt for the deductible I paid them for a warranty service call.

    Clearly in the pocket of the warranty company. They sent a tech that admitted to being unqualified to service my unit. He spent most of the appointment on the phone with his supervisor for guidance. Initially mis-diagnosed my unit as low on coolant. Once he tried to charge it, he immediately realized that it was not but likely a restriction in the coolant line or coil. Unable to do more he informed me that a senior tech would have to come out because something was definitely not right. However, he did warn that the warranty would not cover a partial coil failure. (Not sure how a partial blockage is any less failed than a full blockage). He did try to force an up-sale of tamper proof caps on me for $140.

    It only gets better from here. Another Tech never came or made any effort for a new appointment. I called them & after 24 hrs I got a response. The tech and his supervisor decided the unit was functioning properly, did not warrant another visit, and the warranty would not cover additional maintenance. However, my unit still freezes up, won’t reach any temp below 72 during the day, and I am still out the Service call cost. Let’s not forget that has been filed with the warranty, creating only more roadblocks. Oh and the warranty is clear that if I hire my own repairs they can deny claims for it.

    Their response below is another lie. I was actually very cordial and understanding when the tech said he was not qualified. I only began to lose my cool when a follow-up appointment was never made, promised return phone calls never happened, and I was told the lies about my system functioning normally. The normal findings they achieved was only after they attempted to charge the system. At which point the tech agreed that it did give credibility to a blockages in the coolant lines. The companies response also does not mention the super heat values so they are only telling 1/2 of the story in their response. Further it was not addressed that my HVAC was set high because it cannot cool below 72 without freezing up. Finally, the tech was attempting to check blower speed but did not finish as he did not know how. So to state a functioning system existed is a bold statement if a full diagnostic could not be completed.

    I will be contacting the State Attorney General’s Consumer protection office.

    Terrible experience. I have a home warranty that sent this company out to look at my central air unit. Technician stated it was from hail damage and the motor quick working. So of course the home warranty denied the claim. I called a different heating and air company to come out and he fixed it on the spot. Motor was fine and it was a couple easy repairs. The guy was just trying to be unhelpful so claim would get denied. Now home warranty won’t cover unit at all now because of his claim. Other company said hail damage didn’t make anything quit working and unit was fine.

    I've contacted them twice with quality work achieved. I am now a client for life. Karl has been out to help me both times with my A/C. He is very knowledgeable and professional. But, above all, a genuinely honest and good person! I recommend this company (Karl if you're lucky) 💯!!!

    We were lucky to find AC Service Plus when we had HVAC problems in a house we’d moved into less than one year ago. At the time we had a home warranty (which was useless) but the one positive is that they sent this company to check our unit. Although the warranty didn’t pay, we love the people who came to diagnose and repair our unit. After a second part failure they repaired that and we made the appointment to get a brand new system. Carl was so professional each time he diagnosed our needs. There were 3 crews involved in putting our new system in on a Saturday! We’re so glad to have found this company.

    Very professional and super nice. Carl was our service tech and was fantastic. He explained everything very well and made it super easy for my husband and I to understand. He told us everything and didn't try to upsell us like other companies. This is the second time using them and will never use another company. AC service plus is the best.     Did not choose this company. Filed a claim with my home warranty because my ac wasn’t working. Took them 4 days to come out only to tell my home warranty company that the reason that my ac wasn’t working properly is because it needed to be cleaned which they claimed that they would do for $1100!!! I called Air Comfort Solutions with the intention of paying only $95 to have my ac cleaned since of course my home warranty said that they do not cover cleanings because that it maintenance. Air comfort solutions came out and showed me that my unit was actually pretty clean however my ac had a crack, was leaking refrigerant, was freezing over hence why my ac was not working. They actually showed me what was wrong and I was shocked! This company is a scam and very unprofessional. I requested a copy of the report from the inspection to which of course I never received. This company is very untrustworthy.

    And then to get a response from the owner that they never serviced my house. Unfortunately, I am NOT mistaken. This is the correct company that caused my home warranty to not pay for a cracked HVAC. Please don’t assume that my location on google is the address that was serviced.

    Worthless, the technician didn't even test the system charge, just took some pictures and said "hail damage" was the cause of my problems. We haven't had hail damage in the 5 years I've owned this house. He didn't even bother to check the fan motor that overheated while he was there. Once the fan overheats and stops running the compressor overheats and stops running the then the system stops working!

    The fan motor doesn't turn freely. Another indicator to a trained technician, of the problem. He didn't check the amperage draw on the motor either.

    No, just said hail damage and snapped a couple pictures.

    Do not use AC Service Plus! If you do - make sure you are a paying customer. They will take you money, but if its is warranty work they are working for the warranty company.

    (Supposedly he is experienced, I left his name out to protect his personal information, but do not use AC Service Plus)

    Karl and AC Service Plus did a phenomenal job replacing my heating and air system. Every person involved in the process communicated with great clarity, worked quickly to complete the install, and have contacted me many times to make sure our system is functioning as it should.
