Re: our rental unit: Randall patiently explained new furnace's difference from old furnace and its relationship to the existing a/c unit & heat pump. Very well done. Follow-through by corporate and both Dayton and Columbus Service Managers was professional, prompt, and very helpful, as was visit by tech who checked our residential system.

I could not be more pleased with the experience I had with Luke when he was at my home last week to check the AC unit. The AC has some age on it and needs to be replaced. He was attentive to detail and responded to my questions very professionally. He guided me through the entire process and was a great help to me in making the right choice for the replacement unit. The people at KOHA and the entire Five Star team are just awesome. They installed a new HVAC system in my house about 18 months ago and even hooked up my existing humidifier and smart thermostat without charging extra. Then, when I had a problem just recently, they came out in less than 12 hours and fixed it within an hour of arriving. The deal on the equipment and installation was less than half of their well-advertised local competitor. And I could not be happier with the service and professional behavior of every technician they've sent.

Outstanding and friendly service by the technician, Luke F. We scheduled a pre-home sale heating & air inspection and Luke was very thorough in evaluating both systems. He gave some fair recommendations for further action but did not pressure for any immediate decisions. Great work - we will be using Kettering-Oakwood/Five Star again.

Tech offered to come a day early which helped me immensely. He phoned when he was 20 minutes out. Answered all of my questions about our ancient system and had some good advice for what we might need next.

The two guys that were here found the problem, fixed it then confirmed it was running smoothly before they left. Entire time they explained what they were doing and explained what would need done in the future.

Cody did an amazing fast job. Arrived on time, checkout out my furnace, and when there was nothing wrong with the furnace, he was totally honest and only charged me the diagnostic fee and told me how to get my furnace going again (turns out the gas company had mistakenly shutoff the main valve of the duplex when they should have only turned off my neighbor's). Excellent repairman, excellent company. I'll definitely be doing business with them again.

Great product, pricing and great team to work with. The technician responded totally to my system purchase request, including that I wanted simply a good, entry - level heating system for a small home without a high re-sale value. I did not need high-end equipment for my current circumstances. Very satisfied with service, integrity, and quality of the install.
