We had a 23-year old furnace that needed replaced. My Guys were able to respond quickly for an inspection, quote and to provide service in just a few short days. Price was fair. HVAC techs were professional and kind. The brand new unit is also extremely efficient. Solid 5/5.
I came home to a freezing cold house one evening after work and began frantically calling repairmen. Cody, one the service techs at My Guys, was the first (and only) to respond that evening and explained that he could come out that evening, but was considerate of the cost and recommended that if it was not an emergency that it would be substantially cheaper if an appointment were scheduled in the morning. He assured me that someone from the office would be in touch in the morning by 8:30 am. My phone rang by 8:05 and I was added to the days stops. Cody arrived by 10 am and was very knowledgeable and thorough in assessing the issue. He took into consideration cost and gave me several options including replacing the entire unit because the furnace was approximately 15 years old. We ended up replacing just the blower motor at a cost of approximately $600. The furnace has been working great since his repairs. I greatly appreciated the fact that he genuinely cared about my situation, was very knowledgeable and thorough, and took into consideration cost. I would definitely rehire and recommend My Guys!
My General Electric furnace/air conditioner stopped cooling the house on Friday July 3. I called a number of repair shops including personal friends. Initially my appointment was scheduled for the following Monday past the holiday weekend. Much to my surprise, Jerry of My Guys was able to come on Friday afternoon and take care of my problem. Upon arrival, I told him the problem and headed for the air cooling compressor in the back yard. He removed the back panel and pulled out a part and replaced it. He identified another part that was a candidate for replacement, asked if I wanted that part replaced, and replaced it. He put the back panel on. I paid him and he left. He did not even enter the house.
I was totally impressed with his professionalism, his problem diagnostic ability and resolution, his confidence and just getting the job done. Kudos to Jerry and to My Guys for showing up early and fixing the problem in an expedient manner. You guys (and gals) are one heck of a team. THANK YOU!!
Our A/C tuneup from My Guys was 5-star. I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule. On the morning of the appointment, My Guys tech Cody called ahead and arrived promptly within the appointment window. He was thorough, friendly and knowledgeable -- inspecting and cleaning the unit outside, measuring the temperature drop from the air return to the A/C (a solid 17-degree difference on a mild day), offered advice, and answered all of my air conditioning questions. Cody gave me all the time I needed to ensure I was satisfied with the work performed. He helped me fill out my rebate form (good for a $50 credit from FirstEnergy on the $89 service), as well. Nice job My Guys.
If I could make a zero star review I would. Called this company to have my furnace inspected and cleaned. The repair man was in the basement 5 minutes before coming up and telling me I needed a new furnace even though mine was still running. Charged me 89.99 to came in my house, take a picture and leave. I immediately called another company. The new repairman was there within the hour. Inspected and cleaned the furnace and told me it had a many more years on it. Would not use My Guys again.

Unfortunately I had to cancel the appointment which wasn’t a problem whatsoever and they were very understanding about it. It seemed like a well run company

The workers showed up on time and are very knowledgable a friendly. They answered all my questions, gave me all my options and didn't try to up sell me. I was very impressed with the owners knowledge of the system since it is discontinued from about 1962. He made me feel comfortable about putting the job in "My Guys" hands and that I made the right choice. My parents have used them in the past and I will now too.

The service man from My Guys Plumbing, Cody, was very courteous, professional, and thoroughly explained what he was doing. He listened to my issue and gave me some very good advice as well as options as to what I needed to consider about my present air conditioner and furnace. He did not use any "sales pressure" techniques. I felt that I was getting the proper repair that my unit required. Very polite gentleman. I would do business with this company, again, if necessary.
Jerry and his crew know what they’re doing. I love that he is always looking to get improved products on the market. They replaced our old toilet with a new one that is much more efficient and uses a lot less water. They are punctual and neat. No need for a big cleanup after they leave. We’ve been using My Guys for over 20 years!
