I went to the Greensboro store to get a replacement dryer wheel. They were out of stock until the morning, so I called the Winston-Salem store before driving from Greensboro. I got to the store to find out that the clown who answered the phone wrote my request wrong, then proceeded to argue with me across the counter for the next two minutes. At no point during the phone call before I made that drive did he double check to make sure he heard me properly. His claim was that he wrote it down. Just because he wrote down what he thought I said doesn't mean that was what i said. He then says, well it was just a mistake, so I was ready to let it go. He then said you told me roller wheel, and started to argue with me across the counter again. It was on at that point.

We have had nothing but excellent service each time we have used D & L. Can’t understand why someone would post a negative review. They’re reasonably priced,knowledgeable, courteous,and helpful.

I work for Sears and this is the only appliance part store I would recommend going is the one off Burke St in downtown Winston the service is always outstanding Joey always makes sure our parts our ready togo with minimal waiting so we can get the customer fixed in minimal time. I personally highly recommend this store they have taken care of me and our Sears appliance team for years other team members would agree this location is worth driving out of the way because the customer is outstanding. Thanks D&L Burke Street for being so wonderful to our community. Drew

Wow, beware of this place - what a horrible customer experience here. First, if you call the store be prepared to immediately be put on hold, no choice just go on hold for 5-10 minutes each time - then back on hold for 10-20 minutes while they go do whatever it is that they do besides helping the customer. Second, the incompetence is extraordinary. I called in with parts needed for a name brand gas stove that is less than a year old. The first two people I spoke with were nice and found the parts, but then I never heard back from them. When I called back, no one knew anything about my previous calls. The third time (and third store employee) the guy had lots of trouble finding the parts, didn’t know even the basics about stove parts, then tried to tell me they were discontinued - on a new stove! I argued that point politely but he says, “sorry, I just can’t help you.” I went online to a competitor website and found the parts immediately - I called to confirm and they are shipping out today. D&L has wasted my time and either couldn’t or just didn’t want to help me.

New to town and so glad I did some digging to find a quality parts shop local to me. Called yesterday to inquire about an idler assembly and belt for my dryer, the guy (I wish I had asked his name, tho my receipt says Joey) remembered me today, and even had those parts set aside for me. I didn’t ask him to do either! Super friendly, great prices, and in and out service. You can’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be back the next time an appliance takes a turn for the worse. If I could rate them 6 stars, I definitely would!

The appliance companies themselves could take a lesson from D&L on customer service, that’s for sure!

I came home yesterday only to find that upstairs was an inferno. I mean, it was unnaturally hot. Even heat loving creatures would be upset. You know...the ones from horror movies. So I called a HVAC service company. A great one by the way. They scheduled to get me in the very next day. That's awesome, right? So I slept outside because it seemed cooler than my home...kidding but it was truly cooler outside. I could pay a service fee plus who knows what for parts and labor the next day. Instead, I woke up and decided to do some research. I diagnosed the potential problem as the capacitor.

If you're reading this is because you are a DIYer or tired of paying exuberant fees. I got in my car...took a nice ride to Winston. I walked into D&L Parts Company. With all the big box stores and online giants, it was great to see what a true customer experience should be. I pulled out my phone and showed a photo of my capacitor. In less than 60 seconds I was already paying for it! Friendly staff, fast service, and not to mentioned, I paid a fraction of the cost for what I would had paid the service company. I truly felt that I needed to pay a lot more just for the experience. I got home..put in the capacitor and now I'm sitting here as cool as a polar bear writing this review. Without a doubt, if you're looking for parts and excellent customer service, start here first. I'm glad I did because they won a customer for life.
