I called the vendor I have used for another problem to work on my AC that was not cooling. The diagnosis was there is a leak in the evaporator coil that means it will have to be replaced. At that point I found that the system is no longer under warranty by less than 2 weeks. We bought this house new. I called the installer to find out why they had not registered it for the 10 year warranty. The lady quickly let me know that they left it up to the homeowner to register the system. I think there reason for doing that is garbage and gives them an excuse they can rely on when someone calls with a problem, but I’ll give her a reluctant pass on that. Then I asked her if she would call the manufacturer to help get the warranty extended. She absolutely refused, no matter how much I argued with her, saying that she had called before and had never gotten a warranty extended. Note that I have many times had to call places like the IRS to get them to reverse something to help a client, so I know how to this professionally and get a good result for the client. The only thing she did was give me the customer service number for the manufacturer. The told me what I needed to send for them to consider the extension. That was last Friday and I sent the information to them on Saturday. It is now Tuesday, 4 days later and I have found out from my current vendor that they have the new coil and that it is replaced under warranty. I will certainly let everyone who asks me about Comfort Air about their total lack of effort to help.

My technician George was super helpful and nice. He answered all of my questions and was very thorough making sure the unit was working correctly. Highly recommend.

Some ppl just don’t belong in customer service and the receptionist that works here is one of them. From what I know I speak English and to have this old women try me like as if I’m not communicating properly is honestly degrading, if it wasn’t for our landlord who uses their services I would’ve hanged up and hired another company instead.
However the AC guy that services for the Wilmington area is great. Wholesome person and super nice and pleasant to speak with.

Installed our 3 systems (2 standard HVAC) and 1 Mitsubishi split systems for an upscale workshop and have serviced us for almost 5 years. I would recommend them, as did our custom home builder. Knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and responsible.

This company was used by Wade Jurney homes to do HVAC services back in 2017. After almost 2 years of being in my new home, I'm having to pay someone 1600 to come in and repair my HVAC system. Taking short cuts, and zip tying wires instead of using spacers within the unit to cut costs, ended up costing me. The tube that holds the freon ended up against another component causing a hole to burned into it leaking all the freon from my system. I have since informed a few of my neighbors to have their system checked before this happens to them.

We just purchased a home that was built in 2014. Comfort Air installed the AC unit but did not level it so the compressor was shaking itself apart and creating a very loud noise while the unit was in operation. We had a new AC unit installed by a different company . But the original AC drip pan was left in place under the new air conditioning unit in our attic. 2 days ago that drip pan leaked and water came through the ceiling. We had to have a Restoration company come to assess the damage, pull out wet insulation and install large fans which are currently running in our dining room and will be running for the next 3 days. We also had a plumber and another HVAC technician here from another company to identify the problem and to install a higher quality drip pan under our AC unit. The problem was the original drip pan which was installed by Comfort Air; it leaked through one of its corners. So now we've had two major problems that are specific to this company.
To add insult to injury, our neighbors right next door had the same problem from an AC unit installed by Comfort Air. The drip pan leaked and destroyed their dining room ceiling. Comfort Air at that point came and took care of the damage but did not check other units that they had installed in our development to make sure that the drip pans were functioning well. The disaster that we have in our home today could easily have been avoided if Comfort Air had taken a few minutes to come in and check the Integrity of the drip pan in our home.
Absolutely do not use this company for any HVAC services.

Very disappointed in this company. They always wanted to patch things up instead of fixing it.
A brand new home- first owner- and I've had to replace my entire HVAC system! They call me impatient but improperly wired systems are a hazard; be sure to have someone else to check their work.

Great service, diagnosed our problem, had to replace an older outside unit. Works like a charm!
