I was very pleased with the response and thoroughness of the HVAC tune-up services I received from Horizon. Easy scheduling, fair price and solid communication leading up to the technician arriving. I have 2 older units that have served us well and this was the first time using Horizon. A big shout out to JJ Jackson - very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Outfitted with great technology and I received the full report, pics and recommendations via email after he reviewed his findings with me. I will see them again in the fall as the systems are prepared for the heating season.

I called Horizon to diagnose my A/C system after it stopped working (no cool air). The service person was friendly and professional. My problem is with the quote to repair. Without going into all the details I had a problem with my outside unit. The cost to repair (not replace) was quoted at almost $8,000. I was also immediately drawn into a discussion about replacing my entire system and was scheduled to have a sales person come out that same day.

I got two second opinions from other A/C service companies about the repair. I was told the original quote was excessive and that the repair would be around $3000.

In my opinion Horizon gave me an excessively high quote in order to attempt to sale me a new A/C system. Ironically I chose to replace my system, but could no longer do business with Horizon and went with another company. I would not recommend doing business with them.

Update: Horizon customer service reached out to me and refunded the service fee I was charged as I was not completely satisfied. They also attempted to explain the pricing differences between their company and others. I appreciate the effort they made in this regard. Thanks.

I received a text that Helal was on his way at 6:30 this morning. Helal and Donte arrived early and got started on tearing out the old system. Ian arrived slightly later with the new equipment and all 3 of the guys worked professionally and diligently to get the new system installed. The guys were very professional and courteous. Great 1 day turnaround thanks to our sales guy Dustin and GM Stephen coming together to help me get a good deal and the installers for their efforts. I highly recommend this company for all of your A/C or Heating issues.

Office staff was very nice and was able to have JJ come right away to our home when our A/C went out. JJ arrived on time and was very efficent on locating our A/C issues. He explained our issues very professionally to where I was able to understand the issue and was able to get our A/C back up and operational. Sadly our unit is out of date and JJ suggested we invest in a newer model. So, then we spoke with Mr. Snell who also arrived on time and was very efficentwas and was able to come in and explained more in depth of our Air Unit and the issues that were involved. He worked with us on finding the best deal for our budget. Mr. Snell explained all the values of a new unit would provide for us and was able to quickly get us on their schedule to install our new unit. So happy can't wait to join the Horizon family with our new unit. Highly recommend this company. The team came out and installed our new unit. They were very efficient with their work, worked well with each other and was able to get the unit installed quickly so our home didn’t get to hot. Overall very satisfied with this company. Also, excited that I shouldn’t have anymore unit issues. Which is always a plus. 5 starts just isn’t enough 10/10 recommend.

Our technician was very knowledgeable and kept us informed of the issues, and all our future options. He patiently answered all our questions. The promo included free refrigerant which was what our AC needed. He worked for nearly 3 hrs outside, in the heat, on 2 units and remained cheerful. We’ll definitely use this business for our winter HVAC maintenance and any future HVAC needs. The price we paid to service 2 units was surprisingly low.

Just an honest review of the service and costs. I had them come out and check my AC which is having trouble cooling. First off the service and the technician that came out was great. He was happy to discuss the issues and options I had to repair. He's the reason I gave two stars instead of one. He said the issues were the filter dryer and compressor. Cost to repair just the filter dryer was $2700, Compressor was $6000. Just got a quote for $860 to replace the filter dryer from another very well established local company. From what I can tell this company is a franchise that just opened up in Raleigh, likely have higher overhead costs, but 3x the market rate is unacceptable.

The sales engineer and entire installation team was perfect. They were all knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. Each and every one of them knew their job and did it well. I am an engineer and a perfectionist, and I am very pleased with a job well done. I am also very pleased with the performance of the Lennox HVAC system that was installed. Thank you, Horizon for putting a great team together. My experience with you was perfect!

I made my appointment online. Within a few minutes I received a confirmation text and email. When the technician was in route, I was called, texted their name and emailed as well. Unfortunately the repair needed a second set of hands/eyes. Once again the information of the additional tech was sent immediately.
The communication both shared with me was professional and detailed. An email was sent with all the information that was explained and pictures.
