I called and explained that I needed to have a new toilet flange installed and have the toilet installed. I also wanted a new sink plumed in. The tech did not arrive until 2 pm. I showed him the toilet and the sink. I explained that the plumbing needed to be re-routed because one of the drawers was bumping the old plumbing. His response was “ what would you like me to do about that? Then he told me to “notch out the drawer to fit around the plumbing. It turns out that I paid 90 some dollars to be told that they could not even start the work today. Not happy at all.
I recently had a main water line leak under the driveway at my house. Johns Plumbing came out, assessed the situation and took care of all requirements related to the leak quickly and efficiently. They did a great job at very fair cost to me. I will use Johns for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. Excellent company and great employees.
Incredibly shocked and disappointed in the treatment I received for Johns.
This past Sunday morning I smelled gas across the bottom floor of my home. I immediately called my natural gas company and they came to do an inspection. They found two gas leaks supplying my furnace and put a lock on my system for safety precautions. They informed me that as soon as I had the leaks fixed, they would return to re-inspect and remove the lock. I searched local companies that were available on weekends and found Johns. I called and spoke to a lady and informed her of my situation. I specifically informed her that I smelled gas, called my gas company to inspect, they found two leaks, locked my gas unit, and expected me to have it fixed for a return visit to remove the lock. I asked if she had someone that could fix it that day because it was going to be below freezing that night. She ensured me that they would fix the problem and sent a technician to my home. When the technician arrived at my home he took one look at the lock the gas company put on my meter and said they couldn't do anything. I was confused because I had already told their dispatch about the lock. He mentioned that the only way he could fix the leaks were if the gas company could turn the gas back on. I then called the gas company and their response was that they do not turn natural gas on for companies to check their repair work and if the company I chose thinks that, then I should probably choose a different company for my repairs. After this news the technician tells me I owe $150 for a service visit. At this point I was infuriated. You send a technician to my home after being informed of the lock on my meter only to have the technician say he can't fix it because of the lock, but still charge me $150. After he left my home I called back and they said a manager would call me the next morning. The next morning I had already called another company. They came, fixed my leaks, and I was able to call the gas company back out to remove the lock. A man from Johns did call me the next morning, I assume he was a manager. I quickly informed him that my repairs were completed and I wanted a refund of the $150 that was charged to me. He said he wasn't going to refund the money and rudely said, "that's the risk you take calling us on the weekend".
I have since filed a complaint with the BBB as well as my credit card company.
There are many companies to choose from for your water softener/filtration needs but Johns is by far the best. Right from the start when a tech came to my house to test my water and talk about what system would best suit my needs, they were very polite and completely professional. I have had my system for two years now and on the rare occasion when I did need some help, Kieth Garrison was there either that day or no later than the next. Kieth is one of the most professional, polite and knowledgeable service techs I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I definitely made the right choice with Dr. Johns and would gladly recommend them to anybody who asks.
I called John's when my grandma's hvac was leaking in her attic. Apparently, it had been leaking for a long time and she never noticed as the ceiling was wet and sagging....anyway they came out after hours, blew out the drain and pointed out some other issues having to do with a shoddy installation job by another company (I'm not going to name names, but they're going to hear about it) My tech was very professional and super nice. I'm going to set it up with them to come out and fix all of the issues at a later date. I will never call any other company! Johns is the best!
We love John's! We use every service they offer and would call them for pretty much anything else they decide to offer. Consistently responsive, honest, quality-conscious and dedicated to customer service. Our service provider Ridge Stanley is awesome and we trust him completely. Do yourself a favor and call John's!!
Sam and Paul came and did an amazing job! I could not of asked for better service. They were so thorough and so kind the entire time. Had 3 plumbers come out and they had the best prices!! Highly recommend!!
I called Johns earlier this morning about our heat pump which had failed overnight. Johns got on the problem immediately and had a first class technician named Shawn at our door within an hour or so. Shawn diagnosed our problem and explained our options and then arranged for an estimator to come to our home early this afternoon. Service does not get any better than that! Shawn is a blue chipper and he is a great credit to Johns Plumbing and Heating. Sincerely James Bulger Summerfield, NC
The Johns Plumbing team responded very quickly to 2 major issues with our hot water heater and Heating Unit. The team was very polite and courteous! And the pricing is very reasonable! Grateful we have our hot water and heat back up and running in less than 24 hours when it’s below 30 outside! Thanks Johns!!!!!
Shawn was great. He was able to determine why we weren't getting much air from a recently installed AC unit. Turns out the previous homeowner didn't have heating and cooling zones. We can upgrade the current system with zones and won't have to buy a whole new system. This has been an excellent experience!
