I've been using AC for years now; at our old home and now new home. Nothing but high regards for Israel. He's courteous, knows his stuff, and doesn't sell you things you don't need. Just recently, I was installing a new thermostat at our new home. It was working and I called him. Within two hours, he was at our house on a Friday night, fixing my mistake and didn't charge a thing. I have no hesitation giving him an excellent review and will continue to use his company for years to come.

When we called Air Carolina Plus on a weekend, I wasn’t sure what could be done at such short notice, but our technician Israel came out quickly, explained our AC issue to us, and resolved it within the same day. We were so impressed that we were happy to hire them for our yearly maintenance. I’ve dealt with so many HVAC companies in charlotte and this one has by far the best customer service in the city; and on top of that, our house is no longer 90 degrees in June. 10/10 ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND!

I highly discourage anyone from using this business for air vent cleaning. I bought a deal on living social for this business. I had a scheduled time for service and even had an appointment confirmation call the night before. I took off work to ensure I was home for the appointment in the afternoon. On the day of my appointment the technician never showed during my service window and only called me TWO hours later to say that an emergency came up. The next day when I called the main office the best the receptionist would offer is to schedule me for another appointment weeks later. When i explained that I was only available again in the next few days due to my work schedule and given that I was cancelled on, I would hope the business would fit me in- I was told this was not possible. When I asked to speak to a manager the receptionist told me he was not available (even though I heard her speaking to him on the phone). I contacted living social and was able to get a refund (though this was processed before I ever contacted the BBB so was not "authorized" by the business owner despite his claim. As far as my BBB complaint- the owner simply stated that since my money was refunded I should close the complaint. When I told him the money was not the motivation behind the complaint- that it was his business' customer service- he told me the BBB was not the appropriate "forum" for this issue. He never apologized nor asked how he could ensure this did not happen again. Honestly its clear the business does not have the capacity to handle the level of business they want to have. Don't count for any set appointment with this business and not worth the hassle.

Israel saved our lives! 95 degrees with high humidity and our compressor went out - no A/C! Temps inside were in the mid-80’s. Our Autistic son has epileptic seizures if he gets too hot! Israel came at 9:30pm, diagnosed the problem, replaced a part, did some rewiring and had us back up and running by 11:00pm. He said, “I couldn’t leave you guys like that!” God bless you Israel! Israel ook a look at the issue with my AC and was immediately was able to diagnose the problem. He gave me and estimate cost and time it would take to correct the issue. The following day, Isarel came with his crew and they got to work. Considering the heat in Charlotte, the busted their chops in the attic (which was not an easy job), serviced the unit outside and got everything going. Wonderful job done. Israel Worek and Air Carolinas has been our go to professional for HVAC service for a decade now. We've been delighted by his service and reputation the entire time. I have used his company to replace 1.5 HVAC units at my former residence, 1 unit at our rental property and 3 (out of 4) units at our new residence. Their prices are always fair and have been 1/3 the cost of Morris Jenkins. We also have both our residence and rental property on service contract with Air Carolinas which includes filters, for less than MJ or other large firms.

He's checked on our equipment without a service charge if I wait for when he's in the area. He's worked with me over the phone to address issues that were simple. He's never tried to sell me expensive components I didn't need during a bi-annual service inspection and for every installation he's counseled me against much more expensive upgrades in equipment options which he felt I wouldn't get what I expected from them (I once opted for a 16 seer, multi stage system which had a fair amount of extra efficiency features. Our relationship was new and I insisted despite his advice to keep it simple. He was right, the finicky nature of the system required more service calls, despite being new, than a more basic system. I no longer argue with his advice!)

I wish they sold cars, repaired cars, household appliances and other household services which thrive on integrity and good customer service; if they did, I'd switch to them too!

We had a heating/air conditioning system install by Israel Worek, owner, several months ago. We were so pleased with presentation, installation and follow up. We highly recommend Israel as he does what he says.

We had an issue with Nest device and HVAC fan running constantly. Israel came to our house the same day, installed new Nest device, and gave us some helpful feedback on our overall HVAC system. Very professional. Will continue to use Air Carolinas for HVAC service going forward.

Isarel is so great to work with! He’s honest, hard working and even loves dogs! He also accommodates our schedule and comes in the evening so we don’t have to take time off work. Highly recommend!!
