Truly a comfortable experience!

“Comfort” Guru truly lives up to its name. Our experience was pleasant from start to finish. For those wanting the brief review, we could not have been happier with the honest assessment they provided of the heating and cooling needs for our Park Model home in the Fines Creek area, followed by a detailed estimate of the recommended "ductless" mini-split solution, concluding with flawless installation and follow up, all with budget-friendly and affordable pricing.

For those wanting more details, Comfort Guru is a family-run business, with the owners truly concerned about your well-being and ultimate satisfaction. Sue-Anne, the office manager who took our initial call, promptly took our information and had her husband, Aaron contact us to discuss our needs in greater detail. Aaron conducted a complimentary inspection of our home and provided several options, including his recommendation “if it were his home”. We appreciated that we were provided not only with informative facts and figures (including SEER ratings, etc.) but were also encouraged to think about our decision and to shop around if we so choose. There was ZERO pressure to buy or make a decision. It’s clear that Aaron is more concerned with a customer’s satisfaction than making a sale.

After we selected our equipment and options, Sue-Anne confirmed that the equipment had been ordered and a delivery date was scheduled. In light of their stellar reputation, they are appropriately busy but provided a realistic installation schedule, which was happily met.

The installation was flawless. We were not even in town and trusted their team with the key to our home. Russell, Mark, and Anthony took care of business and called as they were arriving at the property and again to confirm when the job was concluded. Russell graciously provided me with numerous photos including interior, exterior, and underneath the cabin once the job was completed.

When we arrived for the first time after installation, the unit worked perfectly, and Sue-Anne coordinated the county permit inspection to fit our schedule. The installation passed the inspection with flying colors. The unit is amazingly efficient, cooling our cabin on demand, with a variety of features not found in a conventional A/C unit.

One final note. When I looked under the Park Model, I saw what I thought was an unremoved duct, from our old system. I contacted Aaron, who promptly promised to send someone out to investigate. When Mark showed up, he went under the cabin and advised that what I had thought was “an old duct” was in fact part of the drainage system. He proceeded to inform us of a leak to our main drain and even took photos for us to provide to our plumbing contractor. There was no charge for that follow-up visit. Talk about going above and beyond.

In summary, we could not have been happier with Comfort Guru. If you are needing AC or Heating solutions in their service area, they receive our highest endorsement. Thank you, Aaron, Sue-Anne, and Comfort Guru team.

This is the first time I’ve ever needed to purchase an HVAC system from the ground up. Our house was built in 1965 and had no HVAC in it except baseboard heaters. The previous owner mostly rehabbed the house but did not upgrade the HVAC. So when we got tired of baseboards and space heaters and heating with wood, we called the Comfort Guru for an estimate. That was a couple years ago and we could not pull it off but Aaron was enthusiastic and understanding, and we knew we would go with him when it was time. We finally initiated the purchase and install late last year. Besides one of the parts taking a while to arrive (due to supply chain problems, not a problem with Comfort Guru), the whole process has been efficient and everyone on the team has been friendly and helpful. From Aaron to Sue-Anne and Cherie in the office, down to the installation crew; Russell, Mark, and Anthony; the team has been knowledgeable, respectful, courteous and professional. The installation team made sure to offer to wear masks as I told them we have an immunocompromised person living here. They wore booties over their shoes to prevent tracking mud in. They’ve taken very good care of our space and our furnishings. They communicate well about how long they’ll be there and what they’re doing so we know everything we need to about the installation and the system. And today, Aaron came by to check on the installation and informed me that he thinks the guys will be done two full days less than they planned for.

We are very pleased and highly recommend the Comfort Guru for anyone who needs HVAC. Thanks, guys, we could not be happier!!

Great company to work with if you have HVAC problems or need service. Family run and great prices would highly recommend anyone to call them first before anyone else. Aaron was great very knowledgeable and respectful called when he was on his way and was able to pin point the issues I was having.

Wow. Aaron and his crew have worked on my residential HVAC system and the one at my business. I have been immensely pleased with all my several experiences with his company.

From my initial call to schedule a quote, through final inspection, everyone I interacted with was so kind. I appreciate the tech-savviness of the team, being able to communicate via text (with the owner!) and installing the sleek smart ecobee system helped me know we made the right choice for our contractor. When I had questions, they answered in ways I understood, and as a new homeowner, appreciated the education!

In a home that was drastically under-serviced, we now have proper heating and cooling, along with much better air quality thanks to Aaron, Mark, Anthony and Erik. Planning for, and installing a modern system in a 120 year old home is not an easy task, and these guys knocked it out of the park! I had an issue with my AC unit at my small business not cooling properly and freezing up. I looked online and found the Comfort Guru. I saw that they had really good reviews and decided to call them. Immediately someone answered the phone. I talked with a lady who informed me that someone would be out in just a few short hours that same day! I was impressed by this as some take days to show up. So, just as she had stated a gentleman by the name of Aaron showed up. Aaron was very professional and explained everything with me, told me I could hang out and watch if I wished. Aaron immediately found the problem and fixed it. Now my system is running like new again. I recommend The Comfort Gurus because of their fast, friendly and professional service. I will be calling them out to my home as well as my business for any future issues with my HVAC.

We just wrapped up on a summer-long project to replace an aged out downstairs unit and wanted to leave a review letting others know that The Comfort Guru was AWESOME to work with.

The quoting process was detailed and Aaron took onsite measurements to ensure what he was advising/quoting was accurate for our house. Once the install came, the on-site team was stellar. Russ, Mark, and Anthony were extremely professional about how they conducted themselves on site. There were prompt and communicative about their work schedule, and maintained high safety/cleanliness standards the entire time as they came into the house.

In the age of COVID I was very please to see the whole crew was very alert and responsive to any risks presented with in-home work, and all of the guys were masked and did a good job minimizing in-house or close proximity work as much as possible.

Beware of bait and switch tactics! I DONT write reviews but I was compelled to write this one! We had been serviced by comfort Guru for a number of years (starting with them when Aaron began his young company. Well, don’t expect any loyalty from this company! To be fair, while they have done quality work, recently they pushed our gold membership service appointment back, complaining that they were overwhelmed with business. What really made me angry was that they virtually doubled their service fee complaining about inflation (which doesn’t approach 10% per year as of yet let alone 100%)! We reached out to just one other company, Foxfire (Franklin) and was so impressed that we decided to hire them beginning with our next semi-annual service. Here’s the review I write for Foxfire ( which, by the way, has a higher average review rating (4.9 out of 5) with tons more reviews than Comfort Guru. I’m posting that review here which will give more clarity to what happened… (apparently I am not able to post that writing here. Suffice it to say that the quote I received from Foxfire was less than 50% of Comfort Guru’s jacked up pricing)!

Incredible company! Mark was so thorough and did an amazing job of removing the old AC system and installing a new Trane system with Anthony! 👏 Aaron and his team are awesome! Cherie did a great job scheduling the installation and made sure to keep me updated!
