White&Williams

On 9-19-2013 White Williams came to my home and did an evaluation and charged me $174. They said they would call me in 1-2 days with a quote. I left 6 messages over the last 2 weeks for both the "Best Technician" they had Jason and the owner Ted. Nobody has yet to call me back. I am starting to think this must be a scam to get money. $174 and then they disappear. They said I could apply the $174 to the quote they would give me. They not only never gave me a quote, they NEVER called me back after 6 messages.
I am a lawyer and looking for similar people who have had this experience as I am thinking of suing them and seeking a class action. Let me know your thoughts.

White & Williams installed a new Trane HVAC system in our home recently. The price was competitive, they showed up when they said and did an excellent job with the installation. Jeff, Daniel and George each knew what they were doing, they were very professional and worked as a team. I highly recommend them!

Super reputable company, been in the area ever since 1955 delivering quality HVAC solutions. They us Tranes which is the best HVAC equipment on the market. Plus the guys are great. The owners are incredible men. Really a great company.

Watch out for super high "Driving" cost of $40+ for local Asheville service call. Did not include that when asked for quote up front. Technician was nice and did a good job. The company however likes to charge $95/hr service charge, but adds lots of additional $ 40 to drive 12 miles from their shop to my house. $3.33/ mile, sheesh. Buyer beware.

I Had a after hour tech come out spend 15 minutes to tell me that he couldn’t fix the unit and that I needed a whole new unit. Then charge me $250. I called another company to get a second opinion and all it was was a short in the wire. Will never call this company again that’s twice they didn’t fix my unit and instead tried to sell me a new unit.

AVOID White and Williams. A driver for their company failed to yield while I was walking my 65 year old disabled mother across the parking lot of whole foods today, and zipped past us in an effort to get by before we got directly in front of them. I am sure they will have just as much patience for your heating and air needs, hopefully they don't put your family in danger the way they did mine today.

I would like to thank all White and William employees for an outstanding job of a quick response for service for my 95 year old mother! I would like to especially thank Debra and Tim for their quick response and assistance for my mother on this date of February 7, 2019. I would highly recommend White and Williams for all installation, service and repairs in the Asheville area.

I woke up Wednesday morning to find that part of the heating duct work in my basement had fallen down. Called White and Williams and on Thursday Miguel came out. He fixed the problem in the afternoon and now we are warm again. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks White and Williams, and especially Miguel!

White and William's is an excellent HVAC company and a pleasure to do business with. Have been using them for years and highly recommended them.

As I look over these reviews, I wonder if we are talking about the same company. Our office needed some of the venting re-directed to cool more evenly and not only was their pricing much less with W&W than our prior HVAC, company but the level of professionalism and courtesy was absolutely five star level.
