I strongly advise against using this company for any home improvement work. They are not licensed by the NY Dept of Consumer Affairs.

I hired them to install a heating and cooling system and paid a large deposit with the understanding that they will start the installation in short order. A few weeks later, they informed me that the earliest time the work could start was 30 days out. That was unacceptable. I cancelled the contract but they refused to refund my deposit. Upon further investigation of the company, I learned that they are not licensed by the NY Dept of Consumer Affairs (DCA). So, avoid a headache and find a different company for your home improvement work.

Very professional, punctual,, and reliable. The office sales staff were prompt, efficient and responsive to all inquiries. The installation crew were on time everyday for a five day job and were polite, friendly and hard working.

All in all, a very positive experience.

Once again the Richair staff performed competently with respect to the annual service of my ductless air conditioning units. The appointment was scheduled with ease and the technicians performed their tasks professionally and speedily. All of my questions were answered by the technicians. Dealing with this company over the last six years has been a pleasurable experience.

We called for service on our 10 year old office air conditioner system. Michael diagnosed and fixed the issue and was very professional and organized. Communication with the office about appointment time was decent. The price was a bit high, but as soon as the cool air started flowing again we were in a much better mood. Thanks.. Victory Factory

While the piping on the outside is not aesthetically pleasing on the sides and back of our house the system itself is awesome! The units inside and outside are whisper quiet. So happy we no longer have to put air conditioners in the windows and are also able to heat one of our rooms that did not previously have a heat source. The RichAir Sales, Service and Installation teams were all great to work with.

Excellent customer service, the sales rep I had held my hand through the whole process and responded so quickly and was so generous with his time. Richair management, if you are reading this, give Philip from sales a promotion!

When I was looking to install my ductless air they were amazing I called and they were at my door. Now that it’s not working I called to make an appointment and had to wait over a week and when I called the day of the appointment and they said I never made one! I have my 87 year old mother living with me and I told them it needs to be fixed and they said well the soonest they could come is In 3-4 days and the reason My first appointment was never made is because I didn’t pay for it ahead of time. Leticia did not ask for any money at the time when I made the appointment. I then spoke with Amanda, the office manager. I’m sorry isn’t going to prevent my mother from having a stroke or heart attack in the heat wave this week! I asked to speak to the owner and she said I can’t give you his personal number. I asked for his work cell number and low and behold he, the owner of a company where all of their work is in the field does not have a business cell. I told them if anything happens to my mother I will sue

The staff of Richair were very attentive to our needs and took their time to ensure each system was installed in the best location to cool our rooms. If I was not home one of the days I also would not have known they were in my house because they were so clean. This was a very different experience than I have had with other contractors. I would recommend them to anyone.

I used their service twice (to install a boiler and later a ductless mini split system). They are professional, reliable, experience people. They do the work quick and neat. The customer care team is the best! I would highly recommend this company if you want to have stress free service.
