Richair installed my ductless system in 2017. It was an excellent professionally done job, as it's been four years, and I have not come across any issues with any of my indoor/outdoor units. The process starts with a service estimator visiting the location to figure out what sort of units are required to cover the space. Then a detailed quote is provided for the cost of entire job. Usually someone from the main office works with you on the quote and the start date. They also provide financing option via Greensky. Richair pulls all town permits and works with the town for scheduling inspection. They also provide a Maintainance package (for additional cost), which comes with annual maintainance and check up visits. In past 3 years, it was very easy to contact them and schedule my annual service. Their is very responsive, easily accessible via email or phone.
Service tech Jonathan, performed yearly service on Mitsubishi AC. Jonathan was very punctual and professional. We are very happy with his performance and highly recommend him. Jose and Gisela
Rich Air started out great with the the salesman James presenting and estimate with explanations each step of the way.
However, as time went by there was a significant disconnect between what was on the contract and how the work was to be done from what actually transpired.
The install took over 4 months for a 3 unit install project! The contract also had in it a manufacturers rebate which I have not received to date. Furthermore it was stated I would get a con Edison rebate based on the equipment installed. Months after I have completely paid them, I am being told the rebate would be halved due to some Changes.
It is unfortunate for rich air because I had 4 other job for them which I’ve decided to transfer to their competitors.
At this time I would seriously consider other options until they start honoring their contract agreements.
The Mitsubishi dual heating and cooling systems are working properly and are extremely quite! That’s about the only positive outcome with this project. I also bought their 12 years warranty and service plan. I hope they can at least honor that if and when the need arrives.

I am updating the original review to advise of the improved outcomes regarding the above history. We were able to get the full promised rebate after Boris Ermant (Manager/Owner) became involved in the rebate process.
I will also state that the units are functioning very fine so far and has had its first service. The units are quite efficient to run and easy to operate. It provides cool and hot air as needed. So far the service technician from Rich Air was professional and very knowledgeable.
Initial contract signed February '21. Job paid in August '21. Richair did not submit permits until 11/15/21. On 12/9/21 I was called and asked to change contract from 48k BTU hyper heat to regular 60k BTU system sales team stating it was 2thousand cheaper and would help me get the job done sooner due to supply chain issues. I agreed but the company still did not give us dates until February '22 and we had to accept 2-3 days notice. Said the job would take 5 days. They started on 2/3 it's now 2/21 and we still do not have heat. We've had no heat all winter. Sales team told me now that new contract I was asked to sign is NOT 2 thousand cheaper, and the job has taken so long that I've lost out on 2,500 worth of rebates. The worst part has been the damage to my home. This company placed the condensation lines improperly which led to gallons of water flowing into my home from my GUTTERS on 2/18. Moisture readings showed my subfloors are wet. They refused to come assess damage or replace indoor unit and we haven't even started the system yet. Everyone we speak to says they will call back and never do. These guys are not ethical. They have no integrity. I'm currently requesting for cancellation of contract and removal of equipment with full refund from company sand they are brushing me off and ignoring me.

The company has ignored numerous written requests for refund and removal of system.
WE CURRENTLY HAVE NO HEAT. We also went 5 weeks in the summer without AC. This system is extremely unreliable, and when we have an issue we are told we have to wait for when they have another job in Jersey to come fix it. When they come, the techs are not skilled enough to diagnose the issue. We spend 39 thousand dollars and have nothing to show for it.
I am preparing to sue for fraud and poor workmanship.
Please do yourself a favor and do not work with this company.
It is always nice to work with Richair. They call to set up a yearly maintenance appointment, show up on time and do a thorough but quick and neat job; it’s nice not to have to worry about it.
Rich Air installed my system and has maintained it over the years with automatic contacts for servicing. Staff has been and strill are top notch professionals.
Lost pressure in the system and they gave me the options to tackle the situation and came to do the job without any issues and so far all is working well!
I contacted Richair Comfort Solutions to get a ductless system installed in my home. Richair has a great team from knowledgeable sales staff, professional, fast and efficient technicians and not forgetting the kind and responsive office staff. So very glad I had Richair do the installation, the system is working perfectly. I highly recommend Richair Comfort Solutions!
Whatever you do, don't use . I had to put one star but I want to put zero. The install took forever. 2 units are still leaking months after the installation. I purchased an extra "service contract" and they have been to my home to service the same 2 machines 4 times, and have not corrected the problem. My floors are warped, and the units don't work. The refund is a total scam. I feel like I have been completely scammed, and I'm not sure what I can do at this point. The units are less than three months old.
I've known the owner for decades via our professional relationship where I've provided him with professional engineering services, and he has installed systems I've desgined after having been awarded construction contracts based on suuccessful competitive bidding.
