This is a REAL review. Response from Owner below claiming they were hacked....Sorry. I have receipts and have shown pictures. I used Hitech in 2020 and 2021. I paid for them to remove & store my AC. Per their website "A comprehensive Steam cleaning (Saves money on Steam Cleaning. Click here for more information)Spray painting the base of the unit, and if required other parts to prevent rust". This did NOT happen. First, I made reservation to have the AC installed approx 4 weeks ahead of time. I was clear that I needed a specific time window (I paid someone to be home). They never showed up...I called them repeatedly "We will check and call back". One time they called back and thought I was a different apt. That went well... That is bad enough but when I turned on my AC and black pieces flew everywhere! I thought it had all been blown out but the following day when I came home from work pieces were all over my bedroom. As you can see from the picture, they never did anything for the rust. Certainly never steamed cleaned. When I called, they gave me the usual "we need to call you back". When they ultimately spoke to me they said that was not a part of their service and that I would have to pay additional money. I told them to look at their own website. They said they needed to speak to a manager and call me back. I am still waiting for that call...it was in June. Do NOT use them!!!
I have never left a review before. They are just horrible!!!
Update: I have received two messages from Hi-Tech. Both messages asked if I was using them again? Never did I get a call back about my installation. They lie

I cannot speak highly enough about Hitech's customer service. They were quick with all email responses and patient when I had to go back and forth with my condo's management company before I could install the units. I got great price on units and service was quick and easy. I highly recommend Hitech.

It was a real pleasure dealing with these guys. I had a leaky HVAC unit that was installed poorly. Several technicians weren't able to solve the issue. They were extremely professional and arrived earlier than scheduled. They took the time to show me what they did and explain how everything works. Helped me close off basement vents for the summer as well so more cold air gets pushed upstairs. Was extremely happy with their customer servics

They left a mess in my apartment, flooded my floor, left heat coil out when trying to install a new PTAC. Then they dispeared. Called them many times and they are not answering my calls. Never dealt a worse company in this country.

Excellent Service! The technicians are friendly and they would provide you with the best options and even helpful. They have installed Mini ductless split system in my house and it's been working so well. Overall I am happy with the services. I would highly recommend this company. My husband and I are so happy with the price quote they have given us was so reasonable and worth it.

We had install our new furnace and AC in the fall but it was too cold to test the AC unit so a follow-up was scheduled for spring. The technician was courteous and professional and explained the use of the AC system to me in detail (new, first-time AC owner/user). I would highly recommend this company. From start to finish they were just excellent.

They took my call immediately when I could not get through to anyone else. We set the appointment for the next day, which they honored and they were on time. They checked in with me all throughout the day to make sure that everything was on point. They followed up with me to make sure if I need any further work or I would use them for a maintenance contract. They were especially good about sending me receipts and all the information I needed to understand about the repair.

Extremely unprofessional business, that relies on scamming. They offer a visit and diagnostic from their technician, and the technicians showed up unprepared, and very unprofessional. The technician that came into our office, was rude, and took 3 minutes to determine that the "heating" was not working.

When I initially called the company I informed them that the heating wasn't working. And they charged me $125.00 to tell me exactly what I told them was wrong with the unit.

3 minutes into his service call he informed that the unit needed to be taken into their repair shop and that would cost me $900.00.

I asked the technician to provide me a detail issue of the service and issue, and he then told me he has to leave as he has another service call. The technician was not hear for more than 5 minutes.

When I called the company the Manager "Eddie" decided to go back and forth and called me a thief, because I questioned their business model. They bombard their technicians with a whole bunch of service tickets and charge every client $125.00.

Although I am not concerned with the $125.00 that they have charged, as I will dispute it, I AM WARNING EVERYONE AGAINST THIS SERVICE. They are a SCAM, very UNPROFESSIONAL, and their manager, rather than de-escalating the situation, escalated this issue.

As a business owner in NYC, and in Harlem. Also involved politically I will insure that this does not occur to anyone else in our area!
