Amtech cooling and heating

Amtech cooling and heating came to install a mini split unit for me they went above and beyond anything that I can imagine they were very professional and super clean the worked was done perfectly and answered any questions that I had. I recommend this company 100 percent to anyone as well the price was extremely fair especially the work that was done. I will definitely use Amtech again and wanna thank Arik for everything!!!!!!

Arik and his team were excellent from start to finish. Amtech replaced our old and tired mini-split system with a new unit that fits our needs at a fair price. Amtech's technicians were courteous and competent and we're very happy with the job they did. They also worked quickly!

The service was absolutely horrible. Eric came to my house and checked the heating system. He had his partner look into the issue. They didn't know what was causing the issue. They actually started googling in front of me. Very unprofessional. They stayed only for 40 mins and charged me $800. What is worse, the issue came back next day, and I called back Eric. He was very rude on the phone and said he would charge me again. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Eric and the team did such a fantastic job. They crushed putting in two AC units into a big commercial unit in a timely manner. They took the time to ensure that we were happy with the placements of the units and ensured us about the warranty of the units prior to moving forward. The team was super respectful and the price was extremely fair compared to the other companies we have reached out to.

After installation they took the time to clean up all the dust that was created and vacuumed all the areas where dust may have gotten into.

Super professional and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend and use their service again.

Money Hungry, Poor Service Unprofessional and Disrespectful Technician. I had a horrible experience with this business. I desperately needed my boiler serviced because it wouldn’t work on the coldest night this winter. Initially when I called the technician by name Arik, he quoted me $800 just to walk in the door to assess the problem claiming it was overtime. I am not one to judge anyone or decide what one must charge for their services but I suppose he realized the situation and wanted to milk it for What it’s worth. I thought it was exorbitant and managed to talk him down to $250 if he could come down the next day which was a SUNDAY. He agreed to the price as part of both diagnosis and intervention of the problem if it was within reason or didn’t require any purchase of parts.

After he came and fidgeted with the boiler he claimed the issue was the thermostat and that he was able to sell me one at a ridiculously high price. I called the thermostat company and they were able to get me a warranty replacement. I paid Arik and He left that day promising to return to install the thermostat once it arrived because in his words it was very simple to install even I could do it. The thermostat arrived within days and I texted Arik a few times asking him to come back and complete the work and fulfill his promise. He responded with times that just wouldn’t work so finally I asked him to do a video call and walk me through the process which he did not respond to.

Out of pure frustration and being cold I watched a YouTube video on the installation of the thermostat and followed the instructions. The problem persists however appearing to suggest that the issue is not the thermostat after all. I called Arik and he begins to gaslight me saying I never asked him to come and was extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and DISHONEST and DISRESPECTFUL on the phone. When I pointed him to evidence in writing showing that I did ask him to come he appeared to redirect course saying that well he will only come if I agree that if it’s a different problem I will have to pay him. I agreed I would pay him if he tells me the cost and I think it is a fair one which I think is a reasonable ask but he wanted me to blindly agree to paying him any amount he tells me the issue will cost.

At this point, STAY AWAY from this business. They only care about Ripping you off!

Eric was very caring he did his best to make sure my heat was back on when we needed it the most. Very happy with his work and definitely will use his services again.

Excellent work and very professional. I will use them again for my rebuild of my home after a fire.

Amazing honest service. Owner on the job site and guarantees quality work . I called him for an emergency on the weekend and Arik responded within 2 hours. Great prices ! Amazing customer service.

Arik tried to make me buy a new unit at the cost of $20,000 when a new unit only costs the best part of $5,000

He didn't even check my unit and placed a Super Boost SPP8E into it and charged me $374 for this part which only cost $31 and charged me $390 to install it. 24 hours after he installed this part my whole unit broke down and now I need to install a new unit due to what he did. He also over charged for the amount of freon he added to my unit by 2 pounds at the cost of $150 per lbs as per a 2nd and 3rd techs opinion.

He is ripping people off .

Keep clear of him. I asked how he can justify charging so much and his answer is that he has 35 years in the business and got very offensive and argumentative.

I have reported him to the BBB to put a stop to his thievery.
