U.S. Mechanical

As a retail florist, we are very dependent on cooling systems for our flowers. When we started our business in 1986, we used a couple of companies to handle maintenance and repairs for our cooling systems--with irregular results. We were looking for a more reliable and competent company to service our needs--and another florist recommended Dolor and Bruce--who provided super service and were uncharacteristically competent at their specialty. Whenever we had an emergency, we knew they would be there to take care of it. A level of reliability that we finally were able to depend on to always keep us in business. We loved the personal service that we received from these two great guys. But, under Bruce's direction, US Mechanical has assembled an army of knowledgeable, competent, reliable and friendly technicians who now handle so many of our needs--including being our plumbers. We now see their trucks everywhere in Manhattan--with good reason. They have cultivated a great reputation over time--and it's well deserved.

I have used U. S.Mechanical for over two years. They are always reliable and stand behind their work. They have never missed an appointment and I believe go out of the way to see that my work is done quickly and cost effectively. This compares most favorably with others I have used in NYC who seemed to defer my job for bigger more profitable jobs and simply never seemed to care about my issues.
As far as I am concerned they are my first call for work in NYC.

I've tried three different companies in NYC and this is by FAR the most professional one. They came the next day, the service was great. Dan was helping us out and he was great, focused and interested. We'll call for sure again if there will be a problem in the future.

I had such a terrible experience with this company.
They removed a domestic pump for repair. They informed me it was beyond repair and brought me back a reconditioned pump. The pump they removed was in better shape then the one they brought back. Meaning, the housing on the one they brought back was terrible. Repainted but visually had rotten areas.
While installing the motor, they wired it backwards and burnt the windings. It's less then a year later and the motor needs to be replaced AGAIN. U.S. Mechanical took absolutely no responsibility for their wrong doing, causing the short life span of this motor. I would never recommend this company or use them again.

They were very professional and quickly got my AC up and running in no time. Very affordable. I highly recommend them.

This company is horrible, the owner is rude and obnoxious and they have no idea what they do, they take on work to later sub it out to other people I wouldn't even give them one star because they are just so bad. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone not even to an enemy. Overall thumbs down!!!!
